Fellow GeoCachers, I have a few in the area that I have had to disable due to more than one or two DNF's.
I have sustained a back injury that is limiting my ability to walk more than a few steps and I may require surgery. I'll find out 30th Sept. Therefore I am unable to replace Caches that are MIA.
Keep on Caching

Spent a good 20 mins looking for this one and with no luck. Not sure if the gps is off but found nothing
Easy find. I would say it needs some TLC but I think the owner wants it to look like.
Found it but log was out of container laying on the ground. After the eagle-eyed chippymick looked around further we found part of the cache and put log and remnants of cache as best we could back at GZ. Will let Old man emu know it needs some TLC. TFTC!!
It was empty with the paper on the ground a little way off but maybe it fell out when I handled it. Thought it had lost its lid but it cleverly clings on without one. TFTC

A nice Covid safe walk in my local LGA.
The cache was quickly found, however it is missing its lid. So the logroll can easily fall out once the leaves (now acting as a kind of lid) fall out of the canister.

Some beaut parks in this area, Did a circuit through the trees and grabbed this POC on the way back to the car. No seal on the container so fashioned a leaf to keep the log in. This song reminded me of going to trade shows overseas years ago with all the merchants trying to exchange their mass-produced third-rate stuff for your cash; having any useful function was secondary to the financial exchange. Thanks Old Man Emu.
OCW morty8888 on a hot and humid day.
I certainly admire the CO's passion for Neil Young and his series of caches named after songs by him. Morty8888 guessed where this hide was before the car was parked - which was next to gz as it turned out.

Picking the hottest day of the summer so far wasn't ideal but when theres caching planned, you get on with it. Oldmorty and I ventured to the Carlingford area today. This was a park and grab and glad we were only out of the air con for a few seconds. The log was full so added a new one. TFTC!

Quick find with Bougie Rogue,Everest high, and Brew. Came after a breakfast catch up.
Cheers for the cache!
Cheers for the cache!
Despite being on crutches I’m still determined to keep on caching, instead going for the easier accessible park and grabs. Out with BarberBlackSheep on this beautiful Thursday evening and after two fruitless attempts at other caches we were excited to get this one! TFTC
Oh, had to laugh about this one. We had a nice walk into this quite tidy, lush green park. Found a kind of run-down container and did our signing duties. Watched the song video before logging, had a good laugh and now have a new ear worm!! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
A simple park and grab just after midnight, keeping my streak going.
The container is in a bit of disrepair, but noting the name of the cache, perhaps that’s by design.

A nice simple find today to keep my streak up. I had DNFed on another cache so it was good to find this one so fast.
The log was dry but waterproofing on this cache could be a problem in wetter times.
Thanks.

OCW Mum. Quick find by me on our way to pick Shoes Junior up from school. TFTC.
On Tour around Sydney and Paramatta.
With Pitsch Patsch we had a great day.

Found this a while back, moved in up the road and while my little one was in the swings close by I quickly snuck it in

We've had a good day of caching this is our 50th find all up.
We have moved on some travel bugs and explored some new parks
Great day all round.

Found, covered in spiderwebs, but still intact. Looks like it needs some lovin'. TFTC
Looked on the metallic areas after reading cache info. Looked around for 10 min without success.
Ohh crap, the lid is missing. It has stayed ok though after recent rain.

Found this morning but haven't had the chance to log till now.
Literally parked right next to it, grab, sign and back into car as I was run a little late to work.
Missing a lid.
Needs maintenance.

**CUT & PASTE BIT:**
I had a ‘flex’ afternoon off work with the goal of walking from Parramatta to Hornsby. Found 3 caches, then went back to Parra Westfield to buy an iPhone charger cable which I’d forgotten. Doh! 2 hours down and I was back where I started. Eventually arrived Hornsby Railway Station in the dark after 8 hours, 24Km, 44,500 steps and 8 cache finds
**END C&PB.**
Hmmm. Not much near GZ and the co-ords were definitely pointing me to a particular spot. But no luck finding the cache today. Had a decent look around. I note that the metal cladding on the telegraph pole here has been roughly pulled away to varying degrees, as though people have been ... looking for something. Couldn't find the cache in there, and - while I've been known to put my hands into all sorts of dark spidey holes - I felt that wriggling may hands underneath something designed to help prevent people from getting electrocuted was a bit too much.
The cache name had set my standards low and I would have settled for any piece of crap cache but alas a DNF today. Thanks for the hunt

Drove passed here the other day with FootyFanatics and had to tick this off the list. TFTC.
Found it on a sunny Autumn Friday while out and about with evangt. A quick find in an empty park. TFTC
Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 12th of 15 finds for the day.
This was my next cache stop, parking the geomobile right alongside GZ, then hopping out for a nice quick find of the correctly published sized cache container. TNLNSL, then replaced as found. Not sure if the container is suppose to have a lid, but there was none on the container when I found it. TFTC Old Man Emu.

My first cache fior today as I explore Carlingford on foot.
Wasn't sure what to expect here, given the cache name but thankfully it's wasn't that themed !
This lovely big park was empty this morning
I added another sheet of paper to the log

Hey there! We are staying in Sydney for a couple of nights and saw there was a cache at the end of my aunt's street. The family took a walk and when we got to the location the cache was on the ground. We thought maybe a bird or a muggle had found it. Only the log was inside. We returned it to where we think it belongs but it might need checking. Thank you for placing the cache,

Find # 1033. Found at 8:22pm.
I was out and about this evening only intending to tick off one cache - 'Bright Eyes - Night Cache' but I couldn't help myself and ended up making my way to North Rocks to pick up a handful of traditionals. It was dark so I wasn't too keen to tackle any rural caches but rather some park and grabs.
'Piece Of Crap' was my fourth find for the evening. I parked nearby and headed over the road to start searching. An initial check in one place showed nothing so I went to the other structure where an easy find was made.
Signed log, thanks for the cache Old Man Emu

Carrying on finding the caches in this series. Thank you for introducing a new park that we would otherwise have not known about. Geoson made a quick find. The lid is missing and the log fairly damaged but we just managed. TFTC.
Such a bad idea to go caching after school pickup. Far to much traffic, argh. Kids giggled at the name of this one. Found with Geo kids Bluewattle Mini and Bluewattle Junior TFCT

A great day to take the motorbike out of the garage and for a ride around North Rocks. This was my first and a quick find in an obvious spot - although it was the second place I looked.

Came all the way to north Sydney today to do some caching in a unknown area for me. Ended up doing some stuff of my wishlist and a lot of fun caches. Thanks for putting out all the caches and I surely will be back.

Found it! Incidentally great take away yum cha and renowned Sydney Ophthalmologist at nearby shops.
Went to the movies in Castle Hill tonight so I needed a park n grab to keep the streak going. Nice quick find, no dice to roll. SL #2727 on streak day #1563 TFTC
Not sure what we're looking for, keep looking at all the crap (rubbish) strewn about. Not sure if it's a coincidence or some jerk (not a fellow geocacher) purposely put it there but we did find a razor blade propped in a tree stump so be careful where little ones out there fingers. (Threw the blade in rubbish).
