Mrs Cracker headed down from Geraldton by bus to attend The Magic Maker event yesterday and was very kindly chauffeured around Northam by Di Morgan for the weekend.
Today we ventured further A field picking up some of the newly published caches as well as a few oldies. We learnt a lot about the area as we visited the various caches.
We saw some lovely countryside on this beautiful winters day.
We were no sooner out of the car when Di Morgan located the cache and called out "Got it"
Thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to find

Was driving through today on my way to an overnight camp in Westonia, before heading on to Kalgoorlie tomorrow. Stopped off here as the bay was empty and I couldn't resist a nice quick cache But hang on, having parked, the GPS is now pointing somewhere unexpected. Thankfully the thongs were up to the trek... and the quick find was made after all No problems here today, TFTC
Day 1 of WAGB22 week, the plan was to go to Northam and do a few along the way including KEP Series near Clackline and the walk up the hills in Bobakine Nature Reserve. Did some GG Series but had to miss a few and some missing in the roadworks sections.
66 Finds and 4 DNF, and 1 not willing to swim in the Avon.
Thanks to all the CO’s for their hides and maintaining the series.

Not sure why you’d choose this exact spot so close to the road when a multitude of other spots exist a couple of meters away.
Out in the Wheatbelt again for the second consecutive weekend. This weekend the plan was to attack a number of towns in the North Eastern Wheatbelt and attend the FOTT event in Minnivale. It was a terrific weekend. Thank you to all the COs involved in providing entertainment this weekend.
No issues here, a nice quick find. Cheers Thejman82!

A day caching in Northam, Meckering, Cunderdin, Tammin, Kellerberrin and Merredin, before heading around through Nungarin, Kununuppin, Trayning, Yelbeni and Wyalkatchem to the event in Minnivale. Weather was glorious and it was a DNF free day. Caching at its best. Thanks for your contribution to a great day.
The log was old tatty and full. I replaced it. Should be good for another 40 finds.

After a rather unpleasant experience at one of the caches we tried for this morning, it was far more enjoyable to come and find this one along some country roads that I don't think I have ever travelled before. Nice quick find whilst chatting with a couple of other geocaching teams who happened to be there when we were. From here we continued trundling along from one cache to the next, following our noses, sniffing out smileys. We met up with another caching team for a few joint finds around York before grabbing pub lunch and then worked our way back towards Northam for the end of the race and closing of the event. Congrats to all the winners - sounds like they had fun, but then again, so did we. Great day all the way around. Thanks for adding to the adventure Thejman82
So out on another Geocaching weekender with Spatial Riq, this time off to the Northam for the 2019 WAGB. Great weekend picking up nearly 70 Caches over the two days. A great variety in the area....

We are staying at the caravan park for WAGB 19 and I was out for a morning run. A 2 kilometre uphill run to this one. Just what I needed to warm me up on a 3 degree morning. It didn't take too long to locate the cache however signing the log with cold fingers was a little more challenging.
A nice run back down the hill to the next one.
