No find for us here, very open area now.

02-Nov-20
No find for us here today

23-Oct-20
Too afraid of getting caught looking like I was trying to get a glimpse into the houses in front

11-Oct-20
No muggle cover here anymore with new plantings only 50cm high. Quick snag and tag. Cheers

Its a trip over the hill to Nelson for the local Event and an Earth Cache for another souvenirs. Its a cool damp day with the rain settling in by the end of the event. But had a great day exploring.

We looked for this one once before, must have been when it was missing. Not the type of cache we enjoy due to it being open to so many houses. Anyway we did find it and now it is crossed the list. tftc

15-Jul-20
Great spot. Don't think the neighbours dogs were happy with my efforts.took a bit to get the cache open. Logged and replaced tftc.

01-Jul-20
A great example of a geocache placed to bring you to a beautiful place! What a view! Thanks for placing. Cache is in great condition. Log is dry. signed and replaced. TFTC

Found while caching with ABL973. Thanks Mitchell 07

I came back to avenge a DNF from 2 years ago. Quick find today with a nice view. Thanks Mitchell 07.

13-Jul-19
Another great view of Nelson today. I have seen a few from the hills today, before you reach the city proper. I see the Seagnoid has performed maintenance on this. TFTC Mitchell 07.

Not much on today, so with my eye on the weather forecast (favourable til nightfall) and a new souvenir challenge released, I decided to front foot it and head over the hill to boost some numbers.
Quite a few solved mysteries in the bank - today I was able to tick off some of those.
But basically the day was dictated by the challenge, and I roamed around with no real plan - just urban park and grabs and short walks, of which I still have a lot to find.
20 for the day, good fun. Left for home when it started to become a chore. A few DNFs as normal, but great to be over the hill again. Thanks all COs.

08-Jul-19
Bit of a grunt up the hill on the bike but lovely views. Cache was a bit out in the open so moved it a couple of metres to closer to the co-ords and description. Clean and dry.

30-Jun-19
After stopping by Founders park to take some photos of railway stations that don't belong there, needed for my new geocache project. Then came out here on the way home. Alas, like everyone else I find the hidey hole and, like everyone else, confirmed it is missing. The CO did not seem inclined to do maintenance, and since I had some of the right size, I dropped a fully dressed replacement in.

Maybe taken?

02-Apr-18
Bugger I should have checked the logs first. Great view but no sign of the cache.

09-Feb-18
Nothing here.

06-Jan-18
Suspect this has gone. Nothing in obvious place, and it is certainly a very public spot.

07-Dec-17
Lovely view easy find

02-Dec-17
Arrived at our accommodation so, naturally, you go for an evening stroll to the nearest cache. A vie of the sea and a view of an obvious place for a cache, but unfortunately only a view of an empty scoop in the dirt there.

26-Oct-17
love it when the cache is in the first place that was searched. Thanks Mitchell 07

03-Sep-17
A lovely view today from here and a quick find, cache all in good order. TFTC

24-Aug-16
A bit of persistence paid off for me tonight. A gap in the rain meant I could stop for a look, and I couldn't see anyone looking out windows. I managed to park in the right spot so my vehicle was a shield. The hint on this one is no longer correct. This is my choice of cache for my weekly trip to Nelson. Even though the day was dreary, the view was still nice. Tftc.

10-Mar-16
Felt very exposed in such a residential area. Not in what seemed the obvious place. Is it still here?

29-Feb-16
Leap Years Day Find #4. Have been saving a few up for today and managed a quick find of this one despite feeling very exposed to the nearby neighbours. Logged my find in the brand new log and on my way. TFTC

What a beautiful view. Thanks for bringing us to this area and thanks for the clever cache.

A Mitchell 07 double-header this morning. This was originally my target for the day, but when a new cache was published a few streets away this morning, that one took precedence.

So, having found that one, I headed here, and it was worth the visit on a morning like today: The Haven still as a mill-pond, and barely a cloud in the sky - what I lovely view.

Thanks for the hide.

Today is the weekend, yay, seems to have been a long week in work this week. The plan was hatched to go over to Nelson and Richmond and at the same time our daughter was travelling down from the North Island as a surprise for mrs capperz so only a quick trip over the hill, and only a limited amount of caches to be found in that time. Oh well, there's always next week, and the one after etc etc. We were in town at about 9 in the morning so actually made the most of the time anyway. First up I dropped off the passengers in Nelson and cached my way back from Wakapuaka to town in 45 minutes. After that we were off to Richmond and I had Brightwater in my sights, or Bright Eyes if you will. Hmmmm, sounds like a song.
This cache has been in my sights for a while too but haven't had time to leave the main highway to come up this road. Parked alongside and enjoyed the view or saw the sea, as suggested. After a while I read the clue and the cache find followed. Signed in box number 3 as there was plenty of room there.

Quick find before spending some time admiring the views from up here. Thanks Mitchell07!!

We did consider putting a cache here sometime ago but opted for a different spot. So pleased we did as it was nice to have the chance for a find by us and a placement by a new cacher. Mrs SoBad had read the listing and hint so was expecting a cache a bit smaller than a micro. We now note that Biggles had written the same. It is a trap for new cachers that nano's do not have a category of their own because we remember the days when nothing smaller than a film canister was placed. A view more of the mud today, clouds overhead and the sea in the distance, but a good spot as we have been in the area on a sunny day with the tide in an envied the people living nearby.
Thanks.

I saw the sea too - - but it was a long way away today, so I saw lots of mud as well. I had a few map-reading problems on the way so I turned way more corners and went way more metres than I needed to but hey, I got there in the end - - and tracked down the hide pretty efficiently. TFTC Smile.

The sea was an amazing unusual colour today and covered in neat patterns from the winds. TFTC #7351

I called by last night but there were too many neighbours out and about so as I was in the neighbourhood again this morning I swooped in to make the quick find and sign.

Excellent views. No sun at GZ made it rather cold but the view more spectacular than last night when looking into the sun.

I decided that it was a stunning afternoon and perfect for a drive in 'Tut-Tut' our convertible cachemobile. I had a feeling that this would be a nano rather than a micro once I'd read the hint. Didn't take too long to put my hand on it. Great views indeed. TFTC, Biggles.

No exception here. We made a find once again after B@W. We've been following them all day. But for the lights of town and the port we couldn't see the sea from GZ. Beauty starry night though. Thank you Mitchell07

We had been over in Marlborough for the day but checked email during the day and found notification of this one. We debated whether to look for it on the way home since it was quite late but knew it was only a short detour so up the hill we went. I can imagine the view from here would be stunning but because it was so dark we couldn't see it. Thank you Mitchell 07.

We were heading home from a week in Canterbury, so decided to take the short detour up the hill to look for this cache. Felt a bit exposed to the houses above, and had to be wary of the dog poo [xx(], shame on all the dog walkers around here who don't pick up after their pooches.
I was looking for something a little larger and failed to located the cache, but a more thorough search by StreetWalker yielded the cache. Great views indeed, now to head home to unpack... TFTC.

#10125. I checked the logs for this cache when leaving Blenheim, and there were no finds log. We suspected we would be too late for an FTF, but we were passing so stopped by found the wee blighter, and as expected there had already been a couple of finds. Nice views from GZ. TFTC.

All good, glad folk in the homes above not on the decks enjoying that view.
Nice one, and thanks Mitchell07
