Logs
This area had a clean up a few weeks back so I think it got taken when the clean up happened
An interestingly located cache, and after reading the previous log, we suspected we probably wouldn't be attempting it. On arrival, we spotted the cache immediately, but as the area was fenced off, and and two men were working with a digger, we decided this cache would have to wait for another visit. However, as we were about to drive away, the workmen downed tools and departed, so we returned, and surreptitiously moved a piece of fence aside to gain entry, after which it wasn't too difficult to get to the cache. TFTC
Found it, going to claim the find, but ain't climbing out on that slippery pipe, covered in barbed wire, over putrid water just to sign it. Refer pic.
I go swimming nearby. Often thought I should tick this off. I often didnt cause I thought it was a hard one Got there and was thinking where would I hid it....then right away I spotted it. Great job on this one.
Heading out when there is little traffic; glad to be able to find this cache quite quickly. The challenge was writing in the log with a pencil; I ended up not filling in the log for fear or ripping the paper sorry! Thank you for hiding this one; it's a nice spot.
Needed to pop out and get a cache today, as we are trying for one a day for 55-days (so we can get another cache.) But we were conscious of the weather front coming in. Golf ball size hailstones apparently!!! Still, found pretty quickly and tried our best to write in the log but it's really quite wet.
I'm not sure why but for some reason I thought this was going to be tricky. So it was a nice surprise to see it sitting there waiting as I approached. TFTC # 14,461
It was completely dark by the time we got here but we convinced M that he wanted to get the cache for us as we knew exactly where it was. He decided to agree as we would get home for tea faster. Lol. Easy find.
Decided to go for a bike ride to visit a friend, but first check for any cache on route not done. Got off and both looked around then I said I can see it, yeh another smiley. Congratulations on your 100th hide, and thanks for the cache TwoSharpe.
Second find of the day for me.
I have been here before with caching partner Jo and we had no luck. Today it was a quick find.
Congrats on the 100 hides too - your generosity gives people like me something to do when I am bored
TFTC TwoSharpe.
Second day in Christchurch on an extended holiday. Caught up with both sisters and my niece in the morning, including some retail therapy, but with everyone else working I get a few hours to trundle around Christchurch in a random manner picking up caches.
Thanks to all the COs.

Quick fiind as could see it as we approached Gz. Sent hubby to retrieve so I could sign Thanks for the cache.
I was getting my feet more wet than I would have liked, but only because of the wet grass. No luck here.
Geocaches in Christchurch are simply a lot harder than those on the countryside, aren't they?
Either way, a hint would have been much appreciated.
The travelling fox is disappointed =u_u=

Had a bit of a head scratching moment here then ah ha! On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc TwoSharpe. Find # 3451
7487. A very easy find as it was in full view as we approached it. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.

What a **monolith** cache. NOT! Eclipse!
I thought it is magnetic, so tried to stick it back on without success, silly me.
Meanwhile, TwoSharpe has already tonned up a ton and has more than 200 placements! Congrats!
Thanks for the cache!

Cache number 144. Couldn't find it near the coordinates so looked elsewhere and found it quickly. TFTC
We loitered around a bit because there were muggles here and there. Jess.daphne made a decisive move and soon had the cache in hand. Tftc.
At first glance we couldn't find it but standing back a bit and looking we quickly had the cache in hand, and no wet feet required. TFTC!
I spent more than my allotted 5 minutes unsuccessfully hunting this down a few months ago. When I got back to my computer I saw that I had not enlarged my search area enough. This I did today virtually walking right up to it. TFTC
As others have noted, co-ordinates were way out but after a bit of an explore in the 2nd direction we took we found the cache. Bit of a tricky retrieve with a 2 yr old but managed to keep my feet dry. Putting back another mission and almost muggled but think I got away with it. Tftc and congrats on the milestone.
Although the coordinates were at least 15-20 meters away, this was still an easy find. TFTC
Nice and easy find on my way past for work. Spotted the crafty cache as I passed so had to back track and make the grab and sign amongst the gloom from the passing cars in the dark. Congratulations on so many hides. Now to get fit to get some of those long climb caches of yours!
Today we both needed to find several caches to bring our cache finds for the 26th June up to double figures. We waited for the weather to clear a little before setting out, but the drizzle and cloud stubbornly refused to lift so in the end, we had to bite the bullet, put on our jackets and head for Hoon Hay.
We thought one positive outcome would be that muggles wouldn't be a problem, but we wuz wrong. Playgrounds proved mostly child free but there seemed to be quite a few dog walkers and joggers out and about.
When I saw GZ, and the terrain rating, we wondered if this was such a good choice in the slippery conditions. After looking around a bit, StreetWalker spotted the cache and he went in to retrieve, thank goodness. Four finds from four caches looked for, we were feeling well pleased with ourselves, but from now on everything turned to custard and it took another 5 caches to sign the log books of 2 .
Congrats on the ton, a great achievement. TFTC.

#12577. Congrats on reaching the ton! We struggled to spot the cache at first. The GPSr was taking us a wee way from the water, but given the cache description talk about keeping dry fee I figured I should be closer to the water. I went back in that direction, and soon spotted the well camo'ed cache. TFTC.
Clever hide. Not many people around so easy to sign the log once the coast was clear. TFTC
Spotted the cache before the Garmin could settle - and it was quiet as well, so no problem with muggles. TFTC
Parking was tricky so parked in a side street then had to hurry across the very busy road, then noticed it as we approached,so it was a quick find.TFTH
Following the advice previously mentioned I decided to look before leaping. Whaddya know? It works!

Tried this a while back and it was too busy to have a good fossick around. Easy find this evening.
2nd attempt. Knew what to look for this time. Used Bigglesponies technique and was quickly rewarded. Thanks for the cache.
Not where I expected to find the cache but saw it eventually. Dropped off a trackable.
Spotted it once I just stood and looked around. Thanks for all your cache placements, I really appreciate your efforts. TFTC.
Followed GPS from post to post without success. Expanded search area and spotted the cache from a distance. Congratulations on your century TwoSharpe, I see you are now over 150. TFTC!
Out for a bit of early morning caching, looked in the likely spots first then spotted it. No one about tftc
Bit of a mission - I was convinced that the container was in the woodhenge but then I read the description a bit closer with the appropriate data and extended my search and got a quick result then.
Thanks for placing all tour caches and keeping this game/hobbie / intrest /obsession alive. Arriving b at the gz I was reading the details and I just happened to spy the prize. The tricky part was the stealth timing to retrieve it. A good 10 mins later a space presented it self and I napped the log and left the cache in place. ..signed the log. Waited again for the right time and renuited the log with the cached. Siged as mcb. Thanks for bringing me here to this place, TFTC TwoSharpe, from Mr Cuddly Brick, 5 February 2016, cache number #1196!

Got a message from 2wombles asking if I was keen for some caching at lunchtime - was I?!
So met up, and decided to hit some this way - there seem to be quite a few new ones out this way!!
There was an old man on the bench, so we acted casual - luckily the cache was far enough away to be out of sight!!

Needed to have a bit of a drive in my car today to help charge up the battery a bit, so contacted Sonia26642 who agreed to come out for a couple of finds during lunchtime. Good to get out in the fresh air for a bit. Took a few minutes to find this cache as there was someone sitting in a seat overlooking the search area. Thanks for the hide. Congrats on the 100 hides!
1st DNF in NZ:( Even read through all the other logs hoping for an extra clue, but still struck out.
It took a few goes to figure it out but there it is - doh. Cheers, nice big eel down there, hello Mr Eel!
Finally find this cache loaded it to the GPS and success as phone had me all over the place
TFTC. Out early this morning as the rest of the household slept. This was the first of the day as I have had to drive past too many times recently.
Nicely placed, fun cache.
Thanks TwoSharpe for the placement
