A quick find once at GZ arrived with a few TOTT’s that make these caches easier but managed without. Log signed and replaced TFTC
I was on the bike today
And here at the cache,
it was soon spied
I know the correct procedure for retrieving the logbook,
but without reading the cache notes first,
it does sort of come as a surprise !!! [:o]
These type of hides rarely last long
And due to the rotting timber the camo is attached to,
it is rather easy to find this one without the supposedly vital 2 litres

We've come north to escape the miserable Victorian winter, and Coffs Harbour you have certainly not let us down. A week of beautiful sunshine and warmth and some caches thrown in for good measure.
Unfortunately this one no longer requires the degree of pre-planning originally intended.
While the cache container itself is still sound it has been 'gorillas' by previous finders and access can be gained much easier.
A different idea on something we have seen previously.

Found and used about 2.5 litres of water, no success. So had to go away to find more water. This time I made sure all the holes were plugged, and only used 2 * 600ml bottles of water. TFTC
After bush bashing for a while came across the container and had a victory and found while visiting Coffs area for a couple days. Worth a fav. TFTC
Took a little while to find but we had the rest of it covered very quickly. Only used 1 litre. we took the hard way in and the easy way out. TFTC
Boy, we needed a lot of what is needed to access the log. Finally was able to grab it and we all signed the log. TFTA! Cheers! [^]
TFTC, I parked close to GZ at the bike track gate. Armed with my 10 ltr gerry can full of water I approached GZ to find a long green piece of pvc pipe laying on the ground empty, I searched around and found a green cap for the pipe and also the log container itself, removed and signed log and put cache back together the best I could and replaced it leaning on the big stump, it has obviously been muggled and will need attention.
Yay this one is awesome!!! Tftf Its my birthday cache day!!! Last year in my 20's!! Shezzie, zoe, c and L
80th Find!! The intial approach didn't work for us as we had spotted the cache long before we had the water to retrieve the log with. After 2 failed attempts (with close to 7L of water in hand) we stepped back and took a different approach..we headed to Jaycar in hopes of an answer and not long afterwards we were back at it again! Success! The log book was just inside yet another container? Took us longer to remove the lid than it did to retrieve (not really but it felt like it!) TFTC had us back and forth from here to there in hopes of succeeding with this cache!

The cache was lying on the ground, needs some maintenance. Will message the owner. Took a travel bug.
Had to pick up a friend from the airport, but had about an hour to spare. So, went looking for a few nearby caches. This was one that I found. Spent more time trying to get the container open than it took to find it. Finally got it with a tool I fortunately had with me and dropped off a TB.
This was a different cache from all the other caches we have seen. Well done.

After setting up camp at the caravan park we headed out with pprass to look for caches in the area.
Hadn't read the description untill we were on our way to the cache. Not having the correct requirement to retrieve the cache we had to stop & check out a couple of yellow bins waiting for collection to grab some containers. The to look for a water tap.
The cache was quickly retrieved once at GZ.
Thanks for placing this cache Aussietodde

Found at 11:38 AM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
It dawned upon us as we were driving to this cache what we had to do - and we had nothing with us! So a quick think and we jumped into a few recycling bins and grabbed what we needed. Then a stop at a park to get some water and we were off [^]
Thanks Aussietodde.

Find No: 5009. Visiting from Newcastle, staying in Woolgoolga for my little mate Matilda's 9th birthday, missed this one yesterday as I was on my own without a water container, back today with Mrs Grub Fred for some fun, thanks for the cache Aussietodde!!
In Coffs with work today ,with brother and had a spare hour so geocaching we go,had spotted this one and having done a couple of these knew what to expect and came prepared, therefore had no trouble, brother was amused.TFTC.Aussietodde.
We thought we'd be fair and let someone else claim a FTF on this one as aussietodde had asked us to check it out before it was published for feedback. Another great cache. TFTC
Found this one a bout a week back but never got round to getting it till today didn't have water at the time left a few bottles of water that i didn't need for the next person who hasn't any hopefully they will take the empties away and recycle them
This is one of those interesting caches to find and we have seen several before. The log is not difficult to retrieve especially if you have caching tool number 34. It is a fun cache and we are giving it a fav point as it is a different hide for this area. TFTC.

Fairly easy to find the "cache holder" before using the water. Only used about 1.25L but better to be safe then sorry. This one I would say defiantly needs 2 people as there is no way u can cover all the holes and fill it up at the same time. Cache works great and was dry. Thanks Aussietodde
