A great day to be out exploring at the end of lockdown. Got so lucky with the weather! So good to be back outdoors exploring. Have greatly missed it. Creswick is not a part of the world I have visited before and I was blown away by how beautiful these spots were. THank you for highlighting!
First day out of lockdown - Yay!
What perfect weather to come and explore the Creswick area.
A beautiful walk around here, really wasn't expecting this. Plenty of Rosella's about today.
You know it's a great spot when you also take plenty of photos.
A nice easy find here today thankfully.

Quick find once I was looking in the right area! Signed the joker card like the others before. Only managed to find 2 so far of the series but will keep trying! ;
Ticking off one found a few days back with calafranchi. Fun find just off the track, TFTC
Staying for the weekend in Creswick we decided to explore the lake and do a spot of geocaching. Tftf geokids located this one!
Tftc Wakkatoo. Rode my bicycle fro. Ballarat to creswick grabbing a couple of smilies. Log is full. Had to squeeze my name in. Luckily I was wearing my cycle helmet hit my head on the tree branch standing up.

Thanks for the easy find. swapped a fat bomb for a weirdish looking coin lol tftc
This one took me the longest. A few places to hide a cache here and after a while I found the right one.
On a quest today to find the last caches to unlock the vault and the Mystery at the Museum. Staying at Creswick and quite close to St George’s Lake, so off to find this little collection on the Loop walk this morning. A rather dull morning, but the air was filled with all kinds of bird calls. We are sure there were some rosellas adding their voices to the morning chorus, but we couldn’t see them! SL at 8.50am Left: glow eagle PT collected the clue and replaced zip lock bag. #6403 TFTC Wakkatoo
Found by Mary and David at 16:15. The lake is looking very mysterious today. Came to Ballarat for two Events, then continued on to find a few more caches around Creswick. An enjoyable afternoon. Our thanks to Wakkatoo.
A good, fair location that was an enjoyable find. Oddly it had been last found yesterday. Thanks for this one.
Found on our way to Clunes for a midweek getaway with the geo-pup. Forgot to get the clue, so came back two day’s later to retrieve it so we could complete the multi on our way home.
Having a good afternoon out with divewombat, wildfam and family having a great afternoon
This was our 200th Cache. Thanks for the cache we found this one out caching on my birthday with Wildfam and Barnes86 cleaning up a chunk of mate none of us had gotten to yet.
It turned out to be such a nice morning for bush walking,
that I continued the theme by setting off for a lap of the lake
All peace and quiet when I found this little cache in among the olde diggings
I remembered to note down the clue too [:o]

With fantastic weather this afternoon it was a perfect chance to go for a walk around this lake with my geodaughter alongside to keep me company.
We planned to start at the bridge but we had to skip that one due to muggles pulling up just as we were about to start searching, so we made our way here to kick off proceedings. A nice easy find to get us underway. Thx Wakkatoo for the caches here and great cache notes too.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. Took a walk around the lake and found this one. TFTC
TFTC. We had set ourselves a task of finding 2000 caches this calendar year. Heading back to Maryborough after celebrating Christmas with the family we decide to stop at Lake George. We had often promised ourselves a stop here. The area was crowded with swimmers but we were able to explore without arousing attention. We managed to find 2 of the 4 caches ad thus had to leave the puzzle. Never=mind it was a great wander in the shade around the lake.
Easy find, nice afternoon for a drive to this area. A few people around enjoying the sunshine so had to be a bit stealthy! Tftc, tnln, sl
Thanks for the cache, found by Tungie and sambo late at night, can't remember which it was
Another drive by given the weather was poor. The plan originally was to do the loop walk and collect them all, oh well, next time. The cache took a bit to finally spot as we were trying to avoid getting muddy! Thanks,

Found in the company of 08151605 as we visited the area to clean up a few missed caches. It was absolutely freezing this morning and it is not getting any warmer as the day goes on. Enjoyed the walk around this lovely area. Thanks Wakkatoo
With a stupid o'clock start for a flash mob in Geelong, Ausfox;, Neville_devil and myself headed Ballarat and Creswick way in search of as many Regular size caches as we could find for the day. The things you do for challenge caches [:o].
With a regular sized cache for the final as well as one in the series we decided we would make a completed circuit of the lake to make an attempt at all caches in the series.
This was the first we attempted in quite a busy little spot lucky for the cover of tree we made a quick find.
Thank you Wakkatoo for the series

I joined up with Simsfamily and Neville Devil after a 3am flash mob in Geelong and made our way to Creswick to search out regular size caches and others in between.
A busy area with gold prospectors, fisherman and walkers but we were able to make the find. The cache was open as the trinkets inside were to big, so I moved them onto a larger cache in the series.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Wakkatoo

We're heading home to Maryborough from Ballarat after doing some shopping. We thought we'd stop here and check out the lake loop and grab some caches. Thanks
My partner and myself found this no dramas. First of many around the lovely st georges lake
Hooley dooley this place has changed since I was here last!!! After a bit of a search (more so looking to see if muggles were approaching) I had the cache in hand. I'm sure I felt a spider scuttle across the back of my neck!!! Or perhaps it was just a twig, I'm hoping for the twig option!! tftc
After a long time away from the caching scene, palemoondancer and I decided to go out on such a nice days with the dogs.
Nice easy find.

With the pressure on to gain a couple of caches for a current challenge, Dippa46 and I teamed up for the morning. Nice easy one to start our journey around the lake. TFTC
Searched. Found. Returned. Beautiful winter day. Sun shining and minimal muggles. Great hide.

*Who could wish for a more enjoyable area to spend time, than in and around the Creswick Regional Park? A wonderful area for walking, riding, exploring and of course geocaching!*
We enjoyed a DNF free day, among fascinating fungi, carefully hidden, well maintained caches and this interesting little walk.
Thanks to Wakkatoo for placing this cache.
