I came over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time so I decided to come back over again for this years events in Augusta. So after all of the planning with dates worked out my work decided that I could only have one week off so flying over was my only option. So I flew into to Perth and my first stop will be Busselton for 2 nights. It has been 47 years since I was in this part of WA and Im really looking forward to the re visit.Im making my way down the coast and picking out caches that look interesting to me.After spending a bit of time in Bunbury it was back to the Geo Rent a Car to continue along the coast and I then made it to Busselton.Day 3 of the trip. After caching around Busselton, Dunsbourgh and Cape Naturaliste its time to head to Albany for 3 nights and cache along the way.Well its LGA time and after visiting the lake its time to check out a hall.An interesting set up here with plenty of facilities and I can imaging the buzz of those nights. Thanks Shazzaconnz TFTC.
Quick park and grab here now while on our way to Denmark on the Mundal track.Loved the camo here.TFTH

We were very surprised by this Hall, certainly wasnt expecting a hall of this sizes. Nice hide here thanks Shazzacinnz.
Touring the Great Southern using Geocachiing as our guide.
After all the exploring of the last few days our interest was piqued so we decided to continue with this tour of the region and move to Tonebridge before heading to Manjimup tomorrow.
We managed to stop and find your cache today. Hard to imagine all the people that have left this area. Such a huge hall that is virtually abandoned.

Spent the day traveling between Albany and Bridgetown grabbing smileys along the way. Decided to take a detour and pick up a few extra smileys and we are glad we did TFTC
Have stopped here for a cuppa many a time. All the more reason to drop by again. TFTC
TFTH headed down to Albany for a quick weekend trip. Needed to do some maintenance on some down that way and made the most of it by finding a few along the way.
On the trip home the main aim of the game was to find the My Home series of caches. All these were found in good condition and made for some fun caching through the. Country side. A. Good range of camo containers and sizes.
Ended up with 20 finds and 9 caches checked on. Just short of 1000km on the Geocar with the weather perfect on both days.
Thanks for bringing me back down this way and as usual I'm sure it won't be long until I return again.

With a rare additional weekend off secured, plans were hatched to go out and find s bunch of caches to keep the numbers ticking over. We thought why not kill two birds with one stone, do some running repairs on our Albany caches, and finally, and I mean finally grab the My Home series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
This is my kind of geocaching, nice country driving, some different styles of container and good times with good mates, what more can you want. We're finally getting close to having the whole route from Perth to Albany along Albany highway cleaned up. It's taken five years so far, and we've nearly cached out every town along the route, and the alternative route via Cranbrook including just about every town between. Hopefully we can pickup a few more on our next run down. Thanks

Quick and easy find despite the great camo. The hall is a lot bigger than we were expecting. TFTC
I was heading for Manjimup today
I never made it
A heap of caches hidden around the Unicup area distracted me and led me a merry chase around the back roads
First distraction was this cache at the Hall.
The hall itself looks in good nick
But the surrounding facilities do not look like they have seen much use of late and are decaying back into the scenery !!
I guess there just ain't as many young people in the area as there used to be [:o]
Anyhoo !! In a convenient place, I soon tracked down a cleverly hidden cache
A beaut bit of camo [^]

*STF* After spending the weekend in Denmark we meandered our way via back country roads home to Bunbury picking up each of the hides in this series. This is definitely our type of caching - interesting and new locations. We were gobsmacked when we pulled in off the main road - a very impressive building. Really appreciate the effort Shazzaconnz has put into each of these hides - a credit to the CO.
