Full time nomads stopping in Toodyay for a while.
Headed in to Northam today to do some shopping and stocking up. Managed to grab a few caches along the way. A great variety today. Headed back to Toodyay in the drizzle, a bit of a change from the last few days of 37degrees.

Found eventually after initially thinking the fixings meant it had gone missing.
Day 2 of WAGB22 week, and went to finish the GG Series in Northam and cleaned up the town of Northam, then cached to Toodyay and made a huge dent in that town.
Made 51 finds in total with 1 DNF today.
Cache had no log inside, I added a scrap.
Thanks to all the CO’s for placing maintaining their hides.

Teamed up with ullyssia today to find the GG series and the ALs around Northam and Toodyay, working towards qualifying for a challenge. We also looked for the AL bonus caches and a few other hides in the area that neither of us had already found, including this one. The log sheet is missing so we wrote our names in the container. Thank you for the cache Thejman82.
Thank you! Headed out for the day with papillon367 to travel around Northam and Toodyay. Happy to make the find here, though we found there was no log and we had nothing on us to use as a replacement. Recommend the next person along brings some paper with them.
Hope you will accept this as my log. Cache container there and in tack but no log. But unfortunately my knees say no coming up again
This trail has some interesting history to it. Thanks for the journey into the past - cache found safe no need to climb the fence TFTC
Knew we would have to make it all the way to the top but worth it. Nice set of hides along this heritage trail. Tftc.all well here
We had a trip planned for this neck of the woods in March but the ‘Rona virus put a halt to that and we have only just got around to booking some free time to get away from home. This cache was one we targeted for our two day mini-adventure, cheers and TFTC.
G’day there Thejman82, I was in this area today and found your cache Mead's Rock GC651WG. I added my name to the log book at 8:02 am on 8 October 2020. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

On our way home from a great weekend in Northam GB 2019 with Teams Bastholm & OutnAbout thought we would find some more and I’ve cracked to 200
Outnabout with Team Bastholm and JAM1511 on our way home after being in Northam for WAGB19. Savage story. -1 on the temperature gauge.
Was out caching on my own today after the brunch and was on my way back home and took this scenic route towards Toodyay. Thanks for this cache thejman82 which was a very quick and easy find.
Geobuddy marke8183 picked me up from home at about 6am to head out to the Northam area for WAGB weekend. After registering, we teamed up with SeabreezeOZ and headed over towards Toodyay to do the Adventure Lab cache and a few others along the way. No problems finding this one. It was one of about 80 smileys for the weekend. Thanks to all the CO's who contributed to a great weekend of caching. Cheers Thejman82.
So out on another Geocaching weekender with Spatial Riq, this time off to the Northam for the 2019 WAGB. Great weekend picking up nearly 70 Caches over the two days. A great variety in the area....

Hi there Thejman82.
We found your cache **"Mead's Rock"** at 2:59:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 22566).
We are staying in York before heading off to the WAGB Event in Northam. Today we started off by nominating a cache in Toodyay and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 18 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 12m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A day out around Northam to claim some more smilies, happy to say we came up trumps here today after a nice quick find TFTC
After exploring the Westcoast of WA we finally made it to Avon Valley. We will spend here the last 3 days of our Hollyday in Australia. Today we explored the beautiful village of York and Toodyay! We have an hotel room in York so exploring the village of York is not that hard! Tomorrow we drive to the NP of Avon Valley. Next day after we take the very long flight back to Belgium! We logged a lot of caches today! Thanks to all the co's for placing their caches!
Greetings from the far Belgium!

I had a spare day to myself and decided that I would spend it taking in the sights of Northam and surrounding areas. The weather was really hot, but the heat was punctuated with periods of heavy downpours which cooled things down quite nicely, for a moment at least. A great variety of caches were found today, totalling 19. I found it interesting learning about the history of this place from the nearby plaque. I'm glad I brought my good hiking shoes today and that the rock had dried off before I started scaling it. Great spot. TFTC Thejman82
Family holidays road trip and a beautiful day it is. The van packed with kids and goodies and a nice walk to the cache. Beautiful flowers out and even spotted an echidna crossing the road
Amazing history and all thanks to geocaching great natural lookout views

Exercise done for the day, off now for some park and grabs Out and about caching our way to Northam.

TFTC! Had a day out caching with Cravo10 to collect some of the new Toodyay Rd caches, before exploring the Toodyay township and then continuing on our journey to Northam where we picked up a couple of caches we haven't managed to get to on recent visits including an archived cache at the information bay just outside of town which was very well found by Bristag (read the associated logs - don't think it will ever go missing again!!) after completing the majority of our chores in Northam we continued on towards wundowie where we had a couple of caches we were desperate to find wundowie wonderland, which was quite amazing when you linked what we saw in person and what was on the aerial maps on the iPhone, simply amazing. Maybe jasenjanine can organise a nice event for us all go see the masterpiece!!
Then we went and tried for the highly rated BBF the drawer field puzzle cache by jasenjanine who never disappoint with their nicely constructed caches! Won't say much on here but it's well worth a look, leave yourself an hour to get it and you only need one or two fingers, no force required. Fav point for that one!
Great day out with only a dozen ish finds, but happy to add to the stats. Thanks to the local COs

Headed out with the geodaughter Redlipsandunicorns for a day of caching. Our main aim was to complete the new TborG series which we did and also managed to get 9 FTFS which was quite surprising since they came out early last night and we had to drive 75 kms to get them. We found a good variety of containers today with a few that took a bit of searching to find. Ended up with 49 finds and only 1 DNF so we were very happy with our caching day. TFTC Thejman82

Lived in Northam all my life and never knew of the history of this rocky outcrop. No pen on hand, did not sign. TFTC.
A quick find. I've been trying to get out during lunch to do a few caches and thanks to those who have placed all these caches for giving me something to hunt.. Thank You
Thanks to m4yb and her looking after my animals at home I stayed an extra day up the farm which meant I left earlier - All cachers know what an early departure means..
I don't go into Northam on my normal journey to and from Wyalkatchem, but after picking up an injured Kookaburra off the road I detoured via Northam to drop it off at a specialised Wildlife carer. So of course while I was here I decided to grab a few more smileys from the many caches Northam has to offer.
Stop number 6 and after a short climb up the rock the cache was found quickly. Glad there were no spears flying around today and the rock had dried off after the recent rains. I imagine it would be quite slippery when wet. TFTC Thejman82

The breeze up the top was absolutely beautiful considering the stinking hot day I had to pick for caching!
Lovely views that would look stunning in the wet weather with green all around!

Not too many places for this cache to hide. Thanks for the history and the cache. It's in good order.
Found with richlink on a quick day trip to the area. We always enjoy caches with historical content, thanks Thejaman82.
On a caching run to Toodyay & Northam on a pretty warm day with iluvtrekking. Sad bit of history at this site but always enjoy a cache that brings me to places of such interest. A quick find but the magnet has dislodged so we replaced a bit lower down. Thanks Thejman82
Search and searched couldn't find it anywhere.
So I replaced it with another happy caching

Heading out for some caching around Northam & surrounds, this was one we found along the way... Jase headed up to this one, whilst I waited in the car with the kids! He was searching for a few minutes, so we then all headed up to give him a hand Eventually (and amazingly), the cache was spotted lying on the ground beyond the fence... DangerMouse09 was quickly onto it & we added our names before placing the cache back where we thought it should be
TFTC Thejman82 [^] Again, we enjoyed finding out about the history of this location.
