Not before collecting some delicious muffins at the Merchant Store. The weather is looking very promising and the scenery was pretty good too. Thanks for contributing to our amazing holiday BrownscacheDiversBCD

Day 3 on our holiday in New Zealand. On the way from Twizel to Te Anau, we also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.

A bit wet today & our feet were soaked by the long grass by the time we finished searching. Almost gave up, so many places the cache could be hidden. One last check & turned over the right thing to reveal the cache. Hurray, not a dnf after all. Thanks for placing
All good here. On our way from Wanaka to Te Anau. Just had a significant birthday and the gift was a day out caching and a cruise at Doubtful Sound. Tftc.
One of 10 caches we located today whilst travelling from Arrowtown to Te Anau. Didn’t take too long to spot despite there being several of the hint item from which to choose! #4848. TFTC.
Road trip from Rotorua North Island. Another South island cache found. On our way back up North.
Nice quick easy grab, sign and flee.

We don't know what the past two cachers were talking about. Their logs were not in the book and the logbook was dry as a bone. Jude found another cache in a different book in it. We took it away.
I found this cache during a Mum Taxi service.
Unfortunately they had to abandon their trip an a few hours into the walk due to sickness.
Two of my children are walking the Routeburne. So I offered my services for drop off at the Glenorchy end and am picking them up at the TeAnau end. I invited Jude_E along for company, so we'll be taking a few detours along the way.
Thanks for hiding this cache BrownscacheDiversBCD I appreciate it.

Nosynel and I are having a caching trip now after our taxi service for Routeburn drop off and collect became unnecessary due to one of the trampers becoming ill and them leaving the track.
The last two finders didn't find the right cache. I took their logs out and placed inside the correct cache, and removed the old container which had been put in another stump several metres away. The current container is a sistema with a red notebook log dating from 2018. Look for a cone by a stump. Thanks BCD.

I found the cache but it was out in the open and the log was missing. I put a temporary log in but could not bag it. Hid it as per the hint. The CO may have to check it .
Doing bit of a road trip around the bottom of the South Island. A good opportunity to nab some of the old school caches down this way and pick up a few of the PWGT ones along the way. Plenty of good views and empty roads along the way.

Tramping club are cycling round the mountains. I thought I'd drive and tramp and geocache, as it's rainy.
managed a couple finds out this way the weather in the morning was still chilly and thankfully we were dressed on the bike correctly, thanks for the placement
On a 3 week road trip. Half way around my phone was damaged and I've lost all the data I had saved on it as to what caches I dropped in TB's. If I left one here please either let me know which one or grab it from me.

On our trip South - this is further down then either of us have been before Stretch0 and I decided to give this cache a try - a quick find and log signed thanks for the cache
Well we finally made it to southland!!!. Cruising down the road looking all around when i noticed this cache and at the last minute swung in . This also made it our 1st Southland cache. Quick find but had to chase after cache in the wind. Thanks for the cache.
Better parking if heading south bound, but managed to get campervan over far enough. Big enough pivot! [8]
Away for 3 full days and 4 night weekend again, with Rebel98 and Aiden29. We have in mind Queenstown, down to Te Anau, Manapouri, as far as we can up towards Milford and later Cromwell. We had some great adventures and some hot and weary walks and a lot of fun.
Spotted a few possible hides but Aiden was on to it and found the correct hide. A nice quick park n' grab.

Gorby contacted me on Monday asking if I wanted to join him and Rebel98 on a trip to Queenstown for a long weekend. As I already had a week off in between jobs I was free to join them. We travelled from Queenstown to Te Anau, up the Milford Rd as far as we could, over to Cromwell before returning to Queenstown. Many adventures were had and many wonderful gems discovered. We signed with a variation of our own names or R. A. G.
We were heading south towards Te Anau and stopping for caches along the way. Pulled off right by GZ and made the short walk over. Instantly spied the cache as it was exposed. Covered with more natural camo.

Down South for a bit of caching and a bit of a detour before heading home.

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 12 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. Today I decided to go for a drive northwards from Lumsden up to Fiver Rivers and Mossburn.
Smaller stump? It was at the largest one there.
Cheers for the cache.

During our holidays in New Zealand, we spent a couple of days near Te Anau with program sightseeing, gastronomy and, of course, Geocaching!
So, we took the time to visit a few Caches, to remove some green, orange or blue dots on our map.
We will distribute favorite points according to our mood and caches met.
Thank you to all Owners for the installation of these boxes and for their maintenance.
A nice place for a box!
Greetings from France!

Nice find - left our teen driver in the car while we were scrambling around and he caught the attention of a passing Highway Patrol. "I'm just waiting for my mum who is looking for a geocache"
During our 4 week vacation tour in New Zealand were able to do many caches along the way. Thanks to all of you who provided he caches, maintain them and give us the chance to follow our hobby. Thanks.

Today we made a trip from Te Anau to Cromwell via Queenstown, thereby visiting many new sightseeing locations and looking for caches, too. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches. The weather was dry all day long, very cold in the morning and got slightly warmer in the afternoon. Sun was our compagnion nearly the whole trip.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
Thanks to BrownscacheDiversBCD for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Pivot # 5 Five rivers. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

A trip south never seems complete without a pivot cache these days. So here's one ticked off for this trip thanks BrownscacheDiversBCD TFTC # 12,522
TFTC - out and about grabbing some of the newer caches out this way and did a little side tour to grab this one

Have done a few of your pivot geocaches now. Am on the way to Guide camp so introducing two new girls to geocaching. Thanks
A quick find here in the rain. However, a great view of the pivot! Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
A quick find whilst a few cars went past and the birds tweeted. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. TFTC.
Auf dem Weg von Te Anau nach Queenstown haben wir die Dosen am Wegesrand eingesammelt und die atemberaubende Ausblicke genossen. Danke fürs Legen. Das Döschen konnten wir gut finden.
I'ive started my beautiful trip of the South Island in Christchurch, I've visited many beautiful locations. I've travelled via Lake Tapeko, from Dunedin to the most southern part of Bluff. I've then continued with a cruise in Milford Sound and then back to Queenstown.
From there on I've visited Wanaka and the Haast pass to the Franz Josef glacier. I went all the way up to the Abel Tasman NP. Richmond und Nelson as the sonnierst cities were on my list as well.
I've soon reached the east coast in Picton and Blenheim.
After a couple of days, I've then travelled back to Christchurch via Kaikoura.
I've spent a couple of days in Christchurch and it's surroundings.
I've visited many geological sites and have found many caches along the way.
I've travelled 3500km and have experienced so much.
Thank you to all the owners

This cache was found after a bit of a search as there were many thigs to see that were featured in the hint. However, it came to light and all was found to be in good condition and the log was signed by some Aussie cachers who are doing a tour of NZ. Many thanks to KiwiGeoswami for placing and maintaining this cache.
