The spot we'd hoped to use proved unsuitable upon further inspection. Due to continued works in the area and being at such a busy intersection, we are unable to find a spot we are happy to place the replacement cache in.
We've been and scoped out a new spot for this one and taken some co-ordinates. We will return to place the new container and take more readings next week.
Sadly it appears the tree where the cache was hidden is no more, along with lots of others along the path
So I'm disabling it while I scope out a new spot to place it. Thanks Sparra0907 for the heads up.

As there is a lot of work going on around this area, the CO might have to come a check to see if the cache is still here. My GPS said it was in the middle of the fenced off area, so I didn't go any further. A quick note might help others. Cheers.
Just showed my partner this for the first time ever after looking back at old photos from when I first ever went geocaching and Now we are on a hunt for more
Found fairly easily after a tricky walk over the recreational fields. Cache in good condition.
In the area doing some maintenance on one of our caches we thought that this would be an excellent time to try our luck on one of these before heading home.
We pulled up near gz and wandered off for a nice quick find and sign, our name is now in the log.
Even being so close to home it has taken us 15 months to get here and everyone knows where the Mega was, it is still good to get another smiley, we are looking forward to crossing some more of soon.
Thanks for the cache.

As the new COs I figured we'd better come and find this one! All OK, in great condition and ready for the next finder

Find #2062
Had a work meeting out this way so once I was done I had a little time to spend caching before heading home. After one find and one DNF further south I approached this one from the non-highway side. As I did I realised I had been through here once before on one of the CF series wherigo caches. Headed to GZ on foot admiring the work going on at a nearby oval. After waiting for a couple of young cyclists to pass I got my hands on the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache casey.cachers.

Found quickly with GeoRo11 and GeoJulz. GeoJulz was just the right height to retrieve this one. GeoRo11 like this one as he could see all the cars go by
Nice area.
Picked this one up while doing a 'WhereIgo'.
Thanks 'casey.cashers'.

Well after a break in caching due to family issues, renovations, work commitments and general business, Slink1 and I managed to get away and do a few - as they say.
So thanks to casey.cachers and thanks for the cache. TNLN SL

It seems like such a long time away from caching with renovations, many work commitments and general business over the last 8 months today was a welcome and fun time out. No real plan today merely get out and cache, took a couple of caches to find our groove managing 29 for the arvo.
Many thanks to casey.cachers for the time an effort in placing the hides. TNLN TFTC SL

I found this cache today at 9:30am as number 7 of 53 on my Australia Day Northern South Gippsland Loop. I was heading the wrong way to make an easy park for this one but I changed my route so that I could fit it in. Thanks from D B-A.
Teamed up with Yorsys today to clean up a few local caches that had eluded us over the last year or so.
After posting some mail at the PO we decided it would be easier to walk to the location rather than drive, so with the lights with us we ventured forth.
The cache was soon found (uncovered) and we soon covered it up before leaving the scene.

We've been meaning to do this one for a while, so decided it would become the first cache for us in 2016.
Almost a great drive by, probably worse if the traffic was normal, but most in bed still by the looks of how quiet it is at the moment.
An easy find.

Fleabag-, GT02 and I finally had time to head out today and find all the puzzles we had been working on over the last few weeks. We had a great time driving around locating all these today. Even did a lot of "that looks like a good spot for a cache" and managed to find 3 out of the 6 puzzles we still have left to solve so that was handy. Once we finish all the puzzles then we need to get into the WhereIGos.
While we were heading back home after a few hours and some successful random searching we stopped at a few on the way back.
A nice quick find once at GZ.
Thanks casey.cachers for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Just one more Spiffy- said as we were heading home from our caching day. At GZ Spiffy- GT02 and I had a simple find. Thanks casey.cachers for the cache.
Spiffy- Fleabag- and I were caching in the area and grabbed this on our way through. Simple find at GZ Thanks casey.cachers for the cache and the fun.
A quick find after a long walk for the Geokids. Tricky to find good parking nearby.
Geoturtle and muggle friend picked up this nice and easy drive by. Muggle friend has tagged along on 2 previous finds, but today she had to search and find without help. She made the find fairly quickly, but she felt very exposed being on the side of a major road. We may just have a new recruit here. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Working in the area for a month, so trying to get a few each morning. Easy drive by cache.
No muggles around this early.

Doing a few drivebys tonight with grumygramps1 to break the week up. Lots of cache about so should be a productive night as I close on 1000cache for 2015. TFTC
Parked just off the highway, using the iphone had GZ bouncing around a little. Checked previous logs and picked up a clue and dived in for the sneaky hide.

Catching up on some long lost forgotten logs, found with Yoshi Warriors and Happy Feet during the mega weekend. So sorry about the late logs. TFTC
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found during VIC Mega events and possibly a few random ones I forgot during other trips into Mexico. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
Day two of the Mega and I had my two boys tagging along today for some caching fun. Another great day to be out and about. We found a few caches early in the day before attending the event, then we headed back out again to grab a few more later in the afternoon.
A nice quick stop and find here.
Thanks for the hide.

Parked of the very busy road onto the grass. Ground was fairly soft so luckily didn't add to my list of embarrassing bogs while caching. A quick find TFTC casey.cachers

We enjoyed attending the 2015 MEGA event.
It was a blast caching in an area we hadn't ever cached before.
We found some great caches and had a fantastic time.
So cool to see streams of cachers all over the place.
Thanks for the hide.

Found as Nicnax with mazzymay, Papagrouch, SciFiRulz and SusanDW. My GPS went a bit dead here as did mazzymays so it was just as well for the others or we would still be waiting for the GPS to decide what it wanted to be when it grows up. TFTC
Cache #5 of 65 on Melbourne Mega Event day. Found at 10:30.
We were flying from Adelaide to Melbourne for the mega event. This is the first cache we found in Casey (Melbourne).
It was an easy found. We walk across the Lawson Poole Reserve to find the cache. We did this after completing a nearby WIG.
Thanks for the cache, casey.cachers.

Here for the Mega and out caching with Lgoody & roostaman.
So much variety in the caches and in the weather!
Very happy that we did not experience any rain to speak of.
Great to cache in a new environment.

Another find on my day out to collect numbers to hit the 2000 at Mega!
After finally finding a way into the carpark of this reserve, I jumped out and wandered past the cricked field and nets, and the basketball ring, all of which had unsuspecting muggles doing their thing.
I wandered further and further into the reserve, no one on the soccer field, clearly the wrong season!
reaching GZ, I circled around knowing it was in there somewhere! finally I hit the spot and had the cache found!
After signing and returning, I made my way back passing the guy on the basketball court giving me a strange look

Find #2313
I needed a find for today and this was my closest unfound cache to home. My good mate Shogun, beat me to FTF was mere minutes. Congrats, Joey. As a consequence of that, I decided to keep this cache for a day like today. I had to come here in any case to do some more work on a Wherigo, so that dovetailed nicely. It was a straight forward find but I did have to be mindful of muggles using the nearby path.
Thank-you to casey.cachers for placing this geocache
