Logs
Quick find on the way back to the car from a nice walk. Cache is sodden and was unable to sign log
Thanks!! Found it quickly! It needs a new container though as the tin has soaked the paper so you cant write in the log.
Stumbled about awhile before reading 'angelic kiwi' and was quickly onto it then. I didn't have a pen with me so I'll return later and rectify this. TFTC
DNF After 10min of searching, figured after the previous 6 dnfs that we wouldn't bother looking for too long
I came I looked, hint made the possible hiding spot pretty obvious. I searched there and a few other places but didn't bother wasting lots of time here given the string of DNF - besides time was getting closer to sunset and I had a bus to catch to get back into town to meet my teen for dinner. My reason for coming down is to visit him.
Think the CO needs to check up on this one to confirm it either there or gone
A quick walk this evening to grab a cache.
Day #95 of my current streak, trying to get to 100!
A quick find thanks to Angelic Kiwi's helpful log.
The log was damp but able to (just) be written on.
When I'm back in the area I'll try to remember to pop a new log in a plastic bag inside the container.
I would love to explore this area further but it's 7.30pm and with gates supposed to be closing at 8pm I will get out of here.

Quick find before heading up the Valley Track. It was at ground level, not sure if it's meant to be from the hint but I put it back where I found it. TFTC!
The log would be good for paper mache. It has largely become a solid mass of damp fibre. Nice spot free from prying eyes. Thanks.
Fortunately only an isolated area to search accordingly a very quick find. The log is very wet; TFTC
found it pretty easy. super soggy tho couldn’t sign it :”( but we did leave a yellow flower inside.
Found easy but a bit tricky to extract, especially with fat fingers. All good at gz, tftc
Replaced with a new larger container, in a slightly different spot. Room for swaps
Iceman 88 was here
Looks like the trees have been pruned and the cache maybe lost ? Could the CO please take a look thanks

A quick easy find after a short, but hot, walk in this pleasant area, and initially finding the red herring. TFTC
Time to head home now the bridge is open but first morning stoll to stretch the legs...kids not to happy about it but no choice ..
Bush bashed my way to this after we return to the truck not in the first place I looked but got there eventually tftc

A sunny Saturday, finally after a week long cloudy and rains. Can’t wait to be out and do some caches. Rapaki track last time. So I choose the valley track this time. This one was a quick and easy find.

I wanted to find some caches today, as I needed some on the calendar so I called mum up to see if she wanted to meet up to find a few in the evening. She agreed - woohoo! So we met up, I left my daughter at home, and we went to find a few to bring my calendar up to 11 for today too.
Nice & easy finds mainly - thanks - and was nice to have a catch up with mum!

A bit of a crazy idea with daughter to hit the town on Friday night and find a few, especially as I was at a different location to usual! Interesting area to explore at night, and we were sure hoping that the gate would not be shut on us - there was no indication of times in any case! TFTC!!
Great quick find on the way back home after out hike. Careful as there is allot of muggers around this area. TFTC
Didn't realise there were a few glade-like areas here at first. Nice hiding place. Thanks
We just followed the trail and soon had the cache in our hands. Very wet and slippery, and this seems to continue this week looking at the forecast. TFTC
Caching with ivss_xx while the other westies searched for some other nearby caches. Thanks for the hide

While other Westies were on a mountain goat mission we went to try and turn my DNFs into smiley faces. And this one turned out to be easy, despite that it was very wet all around and having unsuccessfully looked for this twice before, this time I went straight for the win!
The camo piece that hides the cache blends in real well though!

Geocache has been updated. Kids impressed with the troll and turtle. Don’t need your own pen now.
