Until a new container is in place, l need to disable this hide. Thanks to those who have messaged to tell me of this problem
This was a bit tricky as GPS was seemingly leading me where access needed far more than 1.5T. Tree coverage may have got in the way. Eventually I found what I was after and found a delightful spot.
Bird of the site was definitely Bellbirds (Bell Miner) as it took me back to childhood background bird calls. TFTC

Catching up on some late forgotten logs. Found with omegaman1971 while grabbing a few caches in the area. We wandered across to the gz out of eyesight of some muggles that were parked not too far away and quickly located the cache. Thanks 4 B Ninja's for the bit of local history and the hide.

Cheers Co for the interesting information in the cache description. Found in the obvious location after a quick search.

**Find #2644**
**Traditional Cache Find #1867**
I needed a find for today and after twice attempting a nearby Wherigo only to have the "Whereyougo" app crash twice, wiping out both my saved game and backup, I headed here for what would hopefully be a quick find. It was a quick find in a place that a geocacher would look but which muggles would ignore.

T1.5 Sounded too easy for me.
Working across the creek today so bush bashed my way to the creek then balanced on some half rotted thin branches to cross over and up the bank to this one today. Cache found in good condition

With the cloudy day, the GPS has been a bit off all day. I was going around in circles and seemed to want me to jump off the cliff. Read the hint and found it easily. I nearly looked there when I first arrived at GZ but followed GPS instead. TFTC
Find #1071
I was in the area today and making the most of the rain(!) to go for a cache. My GPS took me on rather a very merry ride and I was wandering through wet grass to look for this one. I found the object in question but couldn't find the cache at first. I circled around and then found the container on the floor in the open. I signed the log under the cover of nearby trees and then tried to work out where it came from. I hid the cache in an area that matches the hint, but happy for the CO to check that they are happy with this. A great area though - some interesting history. TFTC!

Time for one more on the way home so stopped here. Parked nice and close and made my way to the cache area where I discarded the first item and looked around before returning to find the cache right there.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.
Thanks 4 B Ninja's

Having a nice day out with the other half and Kez (papillon4506). Clearing out an area i haven't yet done. Beautiful day to be out caching. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.
Definitely a shame that it is no longer a viable concern. Sounds like it would have been just the thing for today as it was quite warm and it would have been nice to cool off a little. Thanks for telling about yet another place that we would have otherwise known nothing about. Thanks also for the cache.
We spent a lovely relaxing day at the Berwick Show and thought we should find a cache before we left. Keen to return to explore this area a bit more, such a pretty area. Thanks for the cache.
What a fantastic location. I love these areas of bush land (or reclaimed) left aside in the middle of suburbia. I found GZ fairly easily but after having a look about decided it wasn't GZ and looked somewhere else, then returned to the real GZ and looked again. One extra piece of camo was all I had to move to make the find. Sometimes I should just trust my instincts. TFTC BTW that a funny looking mint tin
We are very glad to have stopped here and discovered this hidden bit of history. It would have completely escaped us if it had not been for this cache. Thank you so much for bringing us here!
Found after a short search, and it was smaller than we had expected. Found in the company of quiet1_au and GJMMelb, on a day when we found 134 caches! TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au. We set out to find the puzzles nearby and as many other caches as possible. Found this at the very end of a long day caching. Thanks 4B Ninjas
GJMMelb
GJMMelb
I'd worked on the P.I.G. puzzles a while ago and recently discovered the Pretzel/Project Pretzel series so spent some time (when I should really have been studying...) cracking these too. I challenged myself to solve them all myself which I did except for one which G' of GJMMelb gave me the solution for (he solved many of them independently) as time was short. Combining these puzzles with a few others in the area and The Slog series a grand plan for a Big Day Out of caching was hatched with a core list of 133 caches to find! Our merry band of cachers - lochb who did the driving and G' of GJMMelb and myself who did the bulk of the brain and legwork - set out early for a full day of mostly drive-by caching. We succeeded in getting 134 finds before light stopped play! This was despite some setbacks: a handful of DNFs (luckily we found other caches to substitute for those we couldn't find), a couple of errors in solutions that we luckily sorted out and still managed finds, an unwelcome flat read tyre and even a couple of "close encounters" with a helicopter - we weren't sure if they were checking us out or not though. A great day of caching that saw all three of us beat our personal best finds in a day
A Berwick Beaconsfield run today.
Thanks 4 B Ninja's gps had me wandering around for some reason but found it.
Hard to imagine it in its former glory as it is now.

This was an interesting spot, and without this cache I wouldn't have realised the history of the site. I could hear plenty of bird life and a few frogs croaking too!

I thought I had better do some exercise this weekend so decided to do a couple of caches that needed short walks to complete and in the few hours that I had I did a few and it worked out well and didn't rain at all so finished off with a couple of traditionals in Berwick on the way home.
This was the next closest cache to where I was now so stopped in the car park and headed in towards the cache. I took the terrain 3 way in but then after finding the cache, took the terrain 1 way back to the car. At least I got a nicer view of the creek the hard way.
Thanks 4 B Ninja's for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Found with tassie expat while exploring this great area. My gps was out maybe 8 mtr but thanks to the clue it was quickly in hand. Lots of bell birds twinging in the background. Tftc
frmen1 and I were back in the area again and decided to grab a few smileys. This one was tricky to find as my gps was 7.5m out. Had to resort to hint. Then we found it quickly. Contents are dry. TFTC
Needing another cache today so Daff and I went for a drive down to Berwick again looking for another cache. This was another tricky find as we were looking for a camoflaged mint tin (as per description). It took two visits by us past the edge before we went back to our original spot and found something which we thought was a bit of rubbish, but was the actual container. Phew that was good, the stream looked a bit cold for a swim today.

Mrs Crackers was nearby today voting early as she will be working on Election day and saw that there was an unfound cache nearby. It wasn't great weather today so there was no one around to hinder the search and not long after arriving at gz the cache was in hand and our name had been added to the log.
It was hard to imagine a swimming pool here, nature has certainly taken back over the area
Thanks 4 B Ninja's for the cache.

We found this cache today at 3:40pm as number 7 of 17 on our Berwick Beaconsfield Bash. Hard to imagine the history on this cache from today's viewpoint. Beware the Duck Weed. Our 8th cache find at Akoonah Park. Thanks from D & H B-A.
Nice spot. Was a bit worried about the terrain at one point while wearing my Sunday bests, so stopped and checked the hint, which turned out to be right where I was standing. Quick find after that. Nice spot! TFTC and for bringing us here.

This afternoon I was on a mission to find some more Wherigo caches, so I was off to Pakenham.
This one was on the way so I stopped for a look.
It was only a short walk over to GZ, once there, I was able to make a quick find.

Good quick find using the clue. Myself and Geowife are out on our own tonight so looking forward to knocking a few off around the park.
We've visited this park a number of times and it's always lovely. Geodaughter and I were having a caching afternoon out and this one had been added since last time we'd been here, so it seemed like a great place to start. A nice easy find in a beautiful spot, wish we could still swim here! Thank you for a great start to our afternoon
With the clue davidman and i would have been stumped - found by me but with moral support by davidman tflc

After a DNF last time I was here it was great to now find this and tick off a smiley, what a fantastic historical place, hard to see the pool area now as the reeds have taken over but it is definitely a place that I'm glad the CO has shown me and one I wouldn't have known about otherwise.

As a could not find was taking place, I met TeamThommo, as the messaged me. So I promptly met them to see what had happen, very likely it found a slippery ending, I think. Indeed it was a gone. So cache was very promptly replaced, and put in a higher position, cache descriptions have been changed but the hide should be right the find again. Always worth logging that dnf because sometimes they do go missing. Thanks for the message. TeamThommo, as others can now enjoy.
Made it a lot harder getting to GZ than it needed to be but once there spotted a likely place to start and found cache not long after. Familiar with an old photo of a swimming carnival being held at the swimming pool although didn't know exactly where it was until today. Amazed it is the same area. SL. TFTC 4 B Ninjas
Sitting at home having a chat to someone on FB and doing the final touches to a new hide page, when this email arrived. A quick, sorry I'm going on a FTF hunt to the chatter, and I'm out the door, cache is 1.2K from home, kids are still snoring happily so I don't disturb them. Sunday morning, there should be no traffic on the road, but its busy as, and everyone is going my way, big delay turning into the road next to the market, don't they know its a FTF hunt, why would anyone be out at this time of the morning to go to a market. Anyhow finally get through that, a quick walk to GZ and the cache is soon in hand, and another [FTF} for us. Thanks for the FTF prize. Now back home. A total of 18 minutes from the email arriving till I sat back at the computer to continue my chat. And my coffee wasn't even cold.
Thanks for the hide and the prize.
