Find 5254 on September 26, 2024 Found while on a family holiday. Today we left Swan Hill and made our way to Horsham. Well that is quite the tower with a silly hat on top. All is well with the cache. TFTC Duntulum

A nice little stop on the way to Horsham. Cache was found easily enough. Signed log and returned as found.
Driving around some of the country roads and noticed a cache was here, a nice easy find with perfect co ords. Thanks Duntulum.
Found on ground in middle of all trees.. put it back as per hint somewhere.. not sure if right spot..
The area was muggle free when I decided to break my journey to look for this cache.Thank you Duntulum for placing and maintaining this cache a quick find was made.
After waiting for muggles to leave I made a quick findTook TB and signed log then replaced where found TFTC
Quick one here-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Found on a quick trip around Victoria to mop up all of the counties I was missing. Had my new swag so stayed in caravan parks so I could sleep while the car charged. Was at almost 100% charge every morning, and the nights camping cost about the same as a full charge at a supercharger anyway.
I cant believe how tall this tower is No wonder the radio can be heard so far away.An enjoyable wander, a good chance to stretch my legs and find a cache. I found the cache was laying on the ground.TFTCDuntulumKeep smiling
Nice easy find after picking my son up from stay upright motorcycle training

Heading down to Portland from Bendigo for an event there tomorrow. Yeah I know it's not the most direct route but I'm collecting a few caches for an LGA Challenge. This was just one I found on my way there.
Thanks duntulum for placing this cache.

Well there was an event I saw published in Bordertown hosted by Roaming Howie and since I was able to have 4 days off I decided to head over to attend the event and then to also do a few of the On Ya Bike series to finish off my D/T loop.
Throw a few oldies into the mix for my Ausmer grid and it was going to be a busy weekend with lots of Km’s.
So after attending an event, finding the ones required on the OYB series, surviving the heat then wind a forgotten challenge series then a few oldies and making it back to Victoria for the night it was time to head home.
Collecting caches that I come past as they say just one more.
A nicer day today with the heat turned down a bit.
So the ABC can be heard very far away I see.
A spot to stretch the legs and to find this one.
Big things are continuing to happen! Are you joining the fun again in 2023?

*Cache find # 13680.*
This weekend I was heading to the Little Dessert for a couple of celebrations events but on the way, I had a slight detour through a few LGA's that I was needing a few more finds for a certain Whittlesea challenge cache.
This cache was one that I stopped at and found.
**Thanks to Duntulum for placing this cache.**

Cache 9269 on 1 Oct 2022.
Road trip! Joined ZQX, Fox in Jox and TikvaNZ in taking advantage of a long weekend in the ACT to head to Victoria and South Australia for 4 days. We had planned this trip 2 years ago, but it did not happen for obvious reasons, so now getting it underway. Our goal is to pick up some old caches, get counties and get some interesting DT combinations!
Today: first day and travelling from the ACT to Nhill - lots of Kms! Mostly counties today.
Quick find on the way through!
Thanks Duntulum for the cache and the fun!

We are on our maiden voyage in our caravan but have stayed close to home and the dealer in case we have any teething problems.
Had to make a trip from St Arnaud to Horsham today to purchase a new mask for my CPAP. A Sunday repair job with super glue and gorilla tape just didn't do the job.
We were intrigued with this tower on the way into town, and thanks to a cache, we had a closer look. Beam me up Scotty.

After picking up my Daughters car yesterday in Horsham, today's mission was getting it to her in Moliagul. I left the Motel early enough to grab a few Lab caches as well as some trads on the way.
My first stop for the day was on the way out of Horsham at Dooen Tower. A quick brisk walk here this morning for a quick find.
Thank you duntulum for the hide

Quick find with hevwalker, on our way home to SA from visiting old and new friends at the Wangaratta Mega. TFTC
We stopped here with ilook4geo as we headed eastwards along the highway. It was a nice quick and easy find and both the container and log are in good order. Another interesting feature that we would not have paid any attention to otherwise.
Thanks go to duntulum for placing and maintaining this cache.

Took a short break here with goingplaces2 and made a quick discovery of the cache. All is in good condition and it was hidden away again before we went further along on our journey. TFTC.
After doing some cache maintenance in Ararat we are now on our way up to Mildura to do the fireworks up there for their New Year's Eve celebrations and of course we were stopping to grab any caches that are close to the road.
We see these towers scattered around in some remote places, it's hard to believe that they can transmit over 150kms but we didn't need to go near the tower today but we did pass another interesting part of town while making our way to gz. Once there the cache was a nice easy find and the log book now contains our name.
Many thanks duntulum for the cache and the info.

There were certainly a lot more people here this time than last. Took a little while to get a gap in the muggles so we didn't draw too much attention. Thanks for the cache.
Great spot and view of the tower, thank you! Feel free to take any ABC Wimmera stickers as well. Happy hunting!
Haven't been out this way since my brother was in Ag college at nearby Longerenong in the late 80s. This trip with Ausyowie is his first out here since he was at the college in mid 90s.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
One last Horsham cache on the way to Warracknabeal. An impressive tower; I’d love to see the view from the top. Thanks again Duntulum.
What a cool thing.. Looks like its ready for take off. Never seen a tower with a platform like that. Thnks for bringing it to our attention.
Heading to SA today we followed the trail of unfound Adventure Lab's and caches along the way, making it a very zig zag route.
A quick find as the Dooen Transmitter towered over us.
Thanks duntulum for the cache placement.

TFTC. We are closing a large loop from Rupanyup today. Decided to detour slightly to find thre caches in Dooen. A quick find here. The cache was found in the open .
With travel plans disrupted due to border closures there was an opportunity to plan a caching trip and having been unable to attend the St Arnaud mega last years it was decided to explore this area.
Found with gwd.aussie while out complete some challenges.
Had tunnel vision in where I thought it would be. Thankfully gwd.aussie (a few steps behind) spotted it

After booking into our accommodation and having a quick cuppa, it was time to seek out a few caches around Horsham. ABC 594 was always the station of choice before ABC Central Victoria came into being.
Our thanks to 'Duntulum' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.
