I found this cache quite a while back but when I recently noticed the history of dnf's, I decided to come and check it out.
After a very thorough search I can confirm it is indeed missing. The cache owner is MIA, so I think its time to archive this cache.

We arrived in Yass for an overnight stay. After checking in and a snooze we were off for a nice walk. We were sad to miss this one like others it would seem to be gone!
No luck for us.
We looked all over the structure for a good while but still come up with nothing.

Found after a few mins. I think the terrain rating needs to be adjusted. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful oval.

Had to read some past logs to narrow down the search. Luckily I am not height disadvantaged. TFTC.
It's been a year since we did any caching in Yass and the numbers have built up again! I feared trouble at this cache and after much searching we were about to leave with a DNF when Mr Winglen spotted it from a short distance and saved us from a blue face! Thanks for the hide.
Found 3:28:00 PM, during a weekend trip north to attend the Gunning Fireworks Festival.

Darksidedan and I headed out to Yass again to collect a few more caches on a fabulous sunny Saturday morning. We both found around 40 caches for the day - a good haul given we were not in a hurry and headed back to the ACT at lunchtime. Another fun filed day with lots of chatter and birds. If not otherwise indicated, all caches found in reasonable order and in short time.
Found more in line with a higher T rating than 1.5. But found it we did!
Thanks Topdeck.Whiteboy for the cache!

Suscoe arrived in Yass this afternoon and we caught up with our good friends Phetlern.
So what else to do but head off caching.
It was an overcast sky which had been threatening to rain for a while. It stayed fine til dark which was great.

Monday morning, the best time for writing logs and replenishing the larder. After lunch our very good friends Suscoe arrived in town and we set off in search of a few local caches.
**FEEDBACK T O CO:** Like previous seekers this one is way higher than the 1.5 indicated on the cache page. Perhaps 2.5!
Thanks Topdeck.Whiteboy for placing this cache.

First stop for a few days and many caches in Yass.
Met up with lgoody again for a caching day trip around town.
Like everyone says, its a D2.5 by most standards and can be easily updated on the page.
Made the climb and returned it as found.
Thanks for the cache Topdeck.Whiteboy,

A caching trip to Yass with Decrypter and Trodectus. Anything that involves climbing, as this cache does, is NOT 1.5 stars terrain. Anyway, we spotted it and it was fetched down and log signed. TFTC.
I agree with Goldenwattle (and some other people logging here), that this is higher than 1.5 stars terrain. This needs correcting. A good area for a cache though. TFTC.
Out with Goldenwattle and Decrypter for a trip to Yass.
We arrived at GZ and started our search. Looking up we spotted the hide but it would be a climb to get to it. D did the honours. TFTC.

On a round trip to Yass this morning for a quick cache in one of our projects. quick find TFTC
I tried for this one yestersay during my walk round town but i wasnt able to climb high enough so this morning i came back with my 4wd and was more successful. I was going to put it back in a place more aligned with the terrain rating but then decided that wasnt really my call to make.
A nice team find on what's now at least a 2.5 terrain. Grateful for a quiet crickey grounds today tftc

Last full day of this holiday with BettyBoo3747.
We stayed at Jugiong and travelled into Yass for a day's caching. The weather held out for nearly the whole day, with overcast but warm conditions. The rain, when it came, was very welcome.
Crawled all over this structure, read logs, and still couldn't locate it, then BB found it on the ground!
BB replaced the log (as it was stuffed), and we replaced it as the logs had described.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11466. The last day of our two week holiday with Robmc. We are staying at Jugiong so this morning back-tracked to Yass for a days caching in the area. A wild and windy day with mainly Micro finds - oh dear! I ended up with 37 smilies and had a couple of DNF's!
This one was most frustrating. Rob did his monkey act, searching all over the structure before I found the sneaky container just lying on the ground. The log sheet was in need of replacement. As I have said elsewhere today it goes against my better judgement to replace these sheets when the CO's no longer seem to be playing but we wanted to sign off on this after our big search. So, I left a new log sheet.
Thanks Topdeck.Whiteboy

Back again today to have another look for this one. The last time we were here there were a few muggles exercising their dogs so we couldn't do a proper search and we walked away empty handed. Today was a lot quiter so we could do a proper search. Still took us a while to find but we got it in the end.

#2011 Out from Canberra for the day with Green-Martian and IamCoust. No one was playing today, so we had the field all to ourselves. Nice little hide, GM made the stretch. TFBUH Topdeck.Whiteboy.

Spent the day collecting caches around Yass District. Took a long time but persistence paid off. TFTC
Staying in Yass for a few days to explore this interesting town and check out a few local caches. i was on foot for all the caches found today.
Took me a bit of searching to finally locate. The log is wet as reported so I used a piece of note paper and signed it and placed it along with a "calling card" in the cache container. Hope the CO doesn't mind as its a bit "squeezy" in there now. Visited two tb's. TFTC Topdeck.Whiteboy.

Team Lewin headed from goulburn to canberra to visit questacon for the little geokid today. Our plans were do a couple in canberra before venturing off to yass for a few hour while the little one slept and we took turns at grabbing those smiley faces we all love so much. Had a great afternoon with most of the caches attempted being found , only a couple of DNFS and was due to nearby muggles or the cache simply not there (thats what we believe anyway!).
As usual yass turned up the goods and look forward to coming back for the many more caches we left for future trips.
"was eager to get this one after a failed attempt months ago. glad i got a glimpse on approach to gz. loved this cache too. keep them coming! "

It has been a while since Jac and I were out caching this way so when we were at a loose end today, we decided to head out here to grab some caches.
We parked right next to GZ and made a quick find. As we had a spare log we swapped it over for you. It is only a small one but should give you time to get out and add a new one.

No chance of finding today. Too many muggles after they had clearly just finished a game.
Hard to mark doqn. Log needs to be replaced. A very fin find for a day out caching
Found this cache today at1:55pm while staying in Yass for the Easter weekend and trying to pick up some caches. The easy part was to find it and get it, now to put it back. Milk crates come in handy.
Thanks Topdeck,Whitby for the hide.

We're on a roll, three finds in one stop, was this thing something to do with the railway line. A bit of a search but soon our three brilliant tactical minds stumbled across the solution. Not a dog in sight.
As history goes what was this item used for we wondered. After some deliberation cache was found, log signed and replaced with out a dog in sight.
After a morning of finding many great caches, we headed out again after lunch to see what else we could find. We both commented that we are pleased the quality of caches we have found in the area.
This took us some time to find as we were looking ata lower terrain level. As we had to climb to reach it we think the terrain level should be higher.

Nice tricky one to start off the day in Yass. Took a few minutes to spot but fortunately not too hard for me to retrieve. TFTC!
I needed to find a cache today to fill a spit on my calender. After a very long, very hot day at work I decided to keep it simple and pick up one of the caches around Yass that I have been leaving for this very reason. The first attempt was a DNF, with the hide apparently falling victim to a chainsaw (it wasn't me - I promise!), at the second (another cache owned by the CO of this cache), and despite my very best attempt at stealth, I came under the very unimpressed gaze of some locals and had to move on. Finally attempted this cache - parked under a very badly pruned Malus ioensis and quickly made the find. Thank goodness thats over! Now for home, air conditioning and a restorative beverage...
Tftc. Had a good time here finding geo's with joshwa27. So thanks for making our time here geofantastic.
Had a great day caching around Yass with fitzy1965 and mtrax. Managed to triple my previous best for most caches found in a day and passed the 600 finds mark. Most caches were found easily with only one DNF for the whole day.
Found this one on the ground. Luckily we had a previous finder with us so we put it back where it should be. Thanks Topdeck.Whiteboy

10069. Found during a great run up through the Yass region with mtrax and Dwarf Exploder.
Despite the chance of rain the three of us met early this morning and did the quick trip up to Yass for a day of caching. A great day - over 50 caches for myself with only a single DNF. This was my next find for the day. Parked right at GZ, and after a quick look found the cache on the ground. As DE says we put it back where the previous finder with us had found it ! Signed, returned, and then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks again Topdeck.Whiteboy !!

Plans were put into place with one party of the FurfacesLL team to do a country drive and pick up some caches in Yass, Cowra, Young and surrounds. We made plans to set off early and headed North for a long day of caching.
Off to a familiar little park that we have visited a number of times before. It took a little while to spot this one then the retrieval was entertaining.
Log signed, cache replaced and on we went.

After our busy period with the animal minding business slowly coming to an end, a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild for an assault on the caches around the region. The weather was kind, warm and overcast.
We stopped in Yass to commence this assault and collected new caches that had been published since we were here last. Took a bit of looking for this one but found it in the end and needed a TOTT to grab it.

This could have taken a while, but fortunately I spotted it fairly quickly and made the grab.

Today was the long awaited trip to Yass with Luckyl10n and Sol de Lune. A few caches achieved on the way out and then back in Canberra, but over thirty for me in Yass. Plenty of variety, and a few very sneaky ones. The day was pretty hot but we managed a few short walks foe some of the caches.
Thanks.

Off to Yass for a day of caching with Albida33 and LuckyL10n....and after a couple of finds en-route, we arrived to start the main tasks of the day.
Another one that took a few minutes, but in the end all was good and the cache was spied in its hidey hole. Thanks TW.

#3904 - 14:20; A plan was hatched with Sol de lune and albida33 to do a caching run to Yass over Christmas/New Year break. Various commitments meant it didn't come to pass until today. We headed off at a quite civilised hour and collected a couple of caches near Murrumbateman on the way through. After a tour of the suburbs, we headed back towards the centre of town for a final few. Arrived at GZ and started the hunt. Another one which took a little longer to spot, but all was good in the end. TFTC Topdeck.Whiteboy
A quick find on a big day out caching with The Storm Man. Found instantly after reading a previous log. TFTC.
Continuing on our hunt for more caches Joelisa and I travelled into Yass to try to clean up that town for the rest of the day. We read through previous logs and one of them gave us the hint we needed. Once read we had the cache in hand in no time. TFTC
