Can't get to it. Not there anymore?

27-May-23
We had calculated the coordinates for this cache a long time ago, but although they took us to what seemed a likely location, we were unable to find the cache.

11-Apr-23
We approached this (or tried to) from all four sides, but found nothing that would solve the cache. Is the plaque still there? Things change quickly in redevelopment areas (I know, it really seems like a snail’s pace).

09-Feb-23
Nice multi. Logged with a permission from the owner. Tftc and greetings from Finland.

I solved this cache by finding a picture of the wall of remembrance on google, but when I got to the location I couldn't find the cache. I found a great hiding place for one with lots of sticks and stones, so I think this one may be missing Sad

30-Dec-22
Had the data from a previous visit and was adventuring nearby today.

13-Nov-22
Is this multi still doable?

I note from the media (https://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/127652136/commemorative-wall-of-plaques-taken-down-by-christchurch-rsa) that "A commemorative wall of plaques paid for by the families of people who served in wartime has been taken down by the Christchurch RSA", following upon the sale of the building to developers.

25-Oct-22
RSA is undergoing a renovation at the moment and the cache clues are not accessible

25-Aug-22
Found with Help from ObnoxiousSpaceCat - TYFTC

25-Aug-22
Found with kozjah. Cache is in great shape.

06-May-22
Could get close but not close enough to WP1 due to the building being fenced off

16-Dec-21
We got the info required for this a while ago but kept it for a blank dot day. Went out to get some brandy for Christmas baking and called past for this cache. A lovely safe spot and we were happy to find you. New log signed thanks for this interesting multi and cache TwoSharpe.

Out with a school group. Students did a great job in coordinates. Made to GZ but no cache in sight. It is almost a year since last find so maybe missing.

24-Feb-20
It was perhaps appropriate that I spilled some of my blood reaching this cache! TFTC.

28-Jan-20
The botanical garden and a big park in the middle of the city... I liked that.
I searched for this can, found it and registered myself in the LB.

Thanks for this cache says Pöni.

Really nice place for a multi. Answers were found quickly. Rather busy around gz. Tried to be stealthy.

Together with TEMBO! I had a really interesting geocaching-trip today. We could find some geocaches, met some locals and had a great talk to them.
Concerning this geocache I want to say thanks because we had much fun in searching and finding this geocache! The cache made our trip even more interesting!
TFTC!

02-Dec-19
A pleasant morning to be out and about. A quick calculation as well as attending to another before a short stroll, a find and a nearby seat for the siging.

02-Dec-19
Easy find, solved this one some months back but did not get around to finding the cache, finally ticked it off today biking past.

30-Nov-19
Visiting Christchurch and have a few hours to spare, so wandering around collecting a few caches. As a HUGH Maiden fan, and appropriately wearing a Legacy Of The Beast jacket, I could not not find an Iron Maiden cache. No trouble locating this one. Up The Irons!

29-Nov-19
In Christchurch for our five year old grandson's birthday. This was the third day I was dropped off to walk around Christchurch to find some more caches. Thanks TwoSharpe for this multi cache.

29-Jul-19
I did the calculations for this cache a while ago and finally made it to signing the log. Luckily all was quiet here today as there were roadworks over the road and no-one was paying me any attention. TFTC!

07-Jul-19
I remember doing the maths quite a while ago and not finishing it off, so as we were finally in the area today I got the kids to do the dirty work. They failed, I gave it a proper cachers look and success. Excellent. Cheers

25-May-19
We got the answer to this cache last week-end, but as the sun set the temperature dropped and we were cold. After the fog went away and our son finished his nap, we went to the library and stopped to log it. Our son proudly found it. there is a new logbook. The cache is in order. We re hide well. Thanks for bringing us to this wall and final.

04-May-18
Got the correct coordinates (confirmed by the owner), but could not locate a cache at GZ. So another cache for the watchlist...

18-Apr-18
Walked round the block twice trying to check both sides of the building, wasn’t sure if we were supposed to go inside the cafe?

02-Apr-18
One and only multi in NZ. Thank you TrekkingPope

02-Apr-18
Thanks for pointing out the new RSA building to us!

02-Apr-18
This did not take us overlong, though I did worry if the good folk eating at the RSA cafe were wondering at my motives for dithering in front of the place! If only we had recorded the mystert cache here we might have got that, too!

27-Mar-18
Quickly found. Thanks from Canada Signed as SM09

02-Mar-18
Stopped here to convert that Multi cache into a smile. The information was quickly spotted.
We had a nice walk to GZ.
Thanks for showing! Tftc

04-Jan-18
I liked the wall of memories at this building. Tempted to buy a tile for at least one member of my family killed in WW1. Thanks for leading me to this location. The cache itself was a quick find and muggle free at 10.15am.

06-Nov-17
I enjoyed my visit to the new RSA to gather the info required to take me onto stage 2 in search of the cache. A nice easy find on arriving at GZ. Tftc

28-Oct-17
A long drive down from Blenheim to come to a squash awards evening last night.
Had a quick meal at the RSA and grabbed the numbers for this one - and then an early start on sat for a walk around the nearby park.
Arrived at GZ and very pleased I did get up early as the muggles are starting to fill up the tracks.
A quick grab and sign - TFTC TwoSharpe

Back into the city now to be near for school pick after wandering the sand dunes of South new Brighton. Got to the final and went around and around but got the prize in the end!

Took a wee while to realise that GZ was not on the other side of the building. Once I had the numbers the final coords became apparent, and the find quickly made.

A bit of a grotty Sunday. Perfect for coffee and city multicaches. 2 down, more still to do. Cheers

Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Brilliant cache, really enjoyed the history and the monuments. TFTC.

03-Mar-17
Tftc great theme. Really wanted to leave a tb here that is visiting rsa places but won't fit so will log a visit anyway.

03-Mar-17
Today is our last day in New Zealand. We did some geocaches before we are heading to the airport.

21-Feb-17
I solved this one months ago but never got around to actually getting it. Today was way too nice to stay in the office so I went for a stroll and realised I was near GZ. I was with my relatively-new-to-caching friend who was keen to find it. And she spotted the hiding place straight away. Signed the log Injean and G-M. The cache is in good order. Tftc.

06-Feb-17
We don't do a lot of multis- so it is always nice to find one that appeals. This one did- and we had a nice little wander round zeroing in on the right spot. thanks

06-Feb-17
Another find in this fun series. Thanks for the effort in placing them.

This was one of the caches found.

26-Dec-16
Quick find- GZ nearly deserted today. TFTC.

07-Dec-16
On the last day of our beautiful holidays in NZ we visited Christchurch. We walked around this city and on our way we found several caches.
Thanks for hiding and greetings from Germany!

02-Dec-16
Cache was a little exposed! Tucked back out of sight. Event on here this morning. Lots of muggles but no one interested in what we were up to. TFTC

07-Oct-16
After lunch with a muggle friend we decided to grab a geocache on the way back to the office. This was the closest one so we wandered down to have a look. This building has been built since I left Christchurch - looks great. It didn't take too long to solve the puzzle and off to get the final - backtracking a little but oh well.

Very quick find as it was clearly visible in the open and rats, the pen is not working so took a photo of the log and will go back when I am back in Chch next week to sign. Popped away again and added a little natural camo which I hope will conceal it a bit better. TFTC.

20-Sep-16
Had a stroll around the area and discovered this multicache. Solving was no problem, so I headed to gz soon. Grabbed and logged the cache.
Thanks for this one!

I had an appointment at the hospital, and decided on the way back to the car to detour via some caches.

This one I'd done the field work for on my way to a volunteerng shift, but I didn't then have time to find the final too.

So was nice to get it all ticked off today! And this one was actually a nice quick easy find, unlike the previous DNF!!

Consec caching day # 1415

TFTC!! Smile

You'll find my cache but I'll find yours too
You'll sign the log and I'll read it through
So when you're waiting for a new cache
You'd better run there's no turning back.

The notifications sound and the hunt begins
But on this battlefield no one wins
The **malodorous** smell of an outdoor loo
As he plunges on into dog's poo.

Thank you to the CO for confirming that I had calculated the correct co-ords (when you are doing heaps of walking, it makes a bit difference!). Just like previous logs, the RSA is amazing. Certainly a great use of space/design now its officially opened.

Thanks for the history, and creating this multi. Caching with rebel98. gorby and ivss_xx Big Grin

03-Sep-16
Solved this multi before leaving Auckland to come down to ChCh with good caching friends rusty and Rebel. Had a little help from rusty who's a bit of a gun with solving puzzles! We were joined today by ivss_xx, an ex-Aucklander so to speak! Together we came to the final which was found pretty quickly. Thanks for the cache.

16-Aug-16
The trees had me on a merry dance for a while but got there in the end. I had the right music playing in the car on the way. It's down to you guys for introducing me to I M. Great to see the RSA back. TFTH

10-Aug-16
Found on my afternoon geowalk. What a great day! Thanks from Prague =D

20-Jul-16
Not sure when I solved this, but it was a while ago. I even found the final but didn't sign because I didn't have a pen. Whilst on a gnome hunt today I remembered this was here so a quick revisit to sign and I can log with a clear conscience. Tftc.

09-Jul-16
A quick and easy find with busy paws on a chilly day.
TFTC!

09-Jul-16
Puzzle solved easily with Geo Jessie. then off to get the smilie. Very impressed with the new RSA. TFTC and the history, - past and newer. A fav for the experience. Cool

11-Jun-16
After spending the day indoors, we were ready for a wee outing before the temperatures cooled and the sun went down so we decided to head for Hagley Park and pick up a few caches in the area. It was surprisingly busy there given the time of year but cars were leaving the car park so we easily found a park.

We had DNFed this cache a few months ago, so updated GSAK with the final co-ords ready for another attempt. Today it was an easy find, exactly where we thought it should be. The only problem was a couple of muggles hanging around nearby when I wanted to rehide the cache - in the end, I went for the shoe lace retying ruse. Thanks for replacing the cache and TFTC.

11-Jun-16
#12517. With this cache replaced, it was time for a return visit. This time it was a quick find. TFTC.

07-Jun-16
Delightful little multi. Found on a cold afternoon and not too far away. Surprised at the RSA update. Looks great!! Thanks.

04-Jun-16
I went to a function at the coords on friday evening... not knowing at that time the info was there. Rectified tonight though. Cheers

18-Apr-16
TFTC. Found by Sophie who is getting quite good at Geocaching. Good outing for school holiday entertainment.

15-Apr-16
Replacement in....all good again

01-Apr-16
That was fun but could not find the first stage. Sigh. Thanks for placing the cache.

31-Mar-16
Muggled again, will pop a replacement in

31-Mar-16
Tommy and I checked this one out. Found the obvious hidey hole but regret to say I think it has been muggled.

25-Mar-16
No luck with this one. Our calculated co-ords took us to a location that matched the hint - it had a few nice wee hidey holes but no sign of the cache.

25-Mar-16
We had a good look for this one, but came up empty handed.

13-Feb-16
Greetings from Canada! We spent much of the day wine tasting in the Waipara area, and then had a couple of hours for some walking and caching before meeting the rest of our group at a local pub for dinner. We had worked out the redirect info for this one before leaving home, so we headed directly for the final. Plenty of muggles around today, but we managed to grab the cache without attracting undue attention. Thanks for an interesting little multi.

10-Feb-16
Gathered the required information for this cache a while ago. Decided to pop out during my lunch break to make the find. No problems locating the cache. Thanks for the hide.

05-Feb-16
A nice walk after visiting the food trucks in the Square. Was soon found.

04-Feb-16
We solved this puzzle while having a drink in the bar. After that, we had a nice walk to the final.
TFTC, greetings from Finland!

02-Feb-16
A nice fine day. Just right for a cyclocache ride from Redwood into the city for some caching. Before I visited Otakaro 1 & 2 I stopped by the RSA to collect the info for this and also it's brother cache #38. Had a very nice cup of coffee inside the RSA's Trenches Cafe whilst I worked out the final coordinates. A muggle was seated on the grass approx 8m away but she was too engrossed in her phone to notice me scratching around for the cache.[^] Managed to replace it too without her being aware of me. What is it with these phones these days? Cheers.

23-Jan-16
We had some jobs to do in town and this seemed like a good place for a coffee. Awesome spot although the listed coords had us wondering.... Got the required info for both and calced out the answers, which was closer to attempt with the girls. Quick grab by Miss 4 and sign and replace. The other can wait for a work day walk. Thanks for bringing us here.

20-Jan-16
Finally it wasn't raining. So I decided to head into town on my bike. After an unsuccessful search on a traditional I decided to give this multi a go.
That RSA sure looks swish now. Thanks for bringing me there. The final location was cool too. I enjoyed my bike back. It made for an enjoyable outing.

14-Jan-16
Our plan was to grab a few of the new caches in town and stop by the new playground in town. We parked up on the otherside of Hagles and used the cycle paths. We had done the work previously and stopped by to make the find. Nice and quick. Thanks for the lesson.

Thanks for the cache TwoSharpe.

Coffee, catch-up and finding a few caches with purdiepurdie - what a great new facility this is.
Got the info and headed off to GZ - there were a few muggles nearby but they didn't seem very interested in us.
Thanks, TwoSharpe, for this cache as well - I think it was a TwoSharpe kind of day !.

10-Jan-16
TFTC. Out for a New Year CCC (Coffee,Cache and Chat) with kotukuSI
We managed to get a multi, mystery and trads today.
An enjoyable multi and wander to GZ to retrieve a well hidden cache for such a public location.
Thanks TwoSharpe for this nice multi.

06-Jan-16
Mrs Biggles and I went for an early morning walk from our hotel to find a few nearby caches. We found the information we needed and then wandered off to the final location. Cache was quickly found and then it was time to walk back to our hotel. TFTC, Biggles.

This cache is logged after we came back home (Paris, France) after a FANTASTIC journey in Australia, New Zealand (and China for 2 days).
Those two countries are very different but absolutely FANTASTIC.
We visited a lot of cities and places and the game helped us to discover a little bit more than "normal tourists".
Thank you to all cache owners.

We saw a lot of beautifull and spectacular places during our stay, but Christcurch will remain very special in my heart. The emotion we felt while walking there was very intense.

This one was easy.

This cache is logged after we came back home (Montagnac, France) after a FANTASTIC journey in Australia, New Zealand and short transit in China.
Those two countries are very different but absolutely FANTASTIC.
We visited a lot of cities and places and the game helped us to discover a little bit more than "normal tourists".
Thank you to all cache owners.
Very emotional city.

Our only cache today and it was a nice stroll near to our motel. Rain, hail, thunder and lightening kept us indoors for the rest of the day. TFTC

09-Dec-15
On our trip through the beautiful country that found here . thank you to the owner for the create and cherish the chache

07-Dec-15
Revisited the GZ we had worked out previously and this time the cache was there. Thanks for replacing it. TFTC.

23-Nov-15
Such a nice night for a slightly longer route home from work. Popped in to solve this cache and the puzzle cache. Tonight I found this one easily. Saving the other one for my dot day tomorrow night. Thanks for the fun and boosting my multi cache stats.

22-Nov-15
Pleased to see we had worked out the puzzle correctly. Lots of people and their dogs around but they were too busy picking up after their pets to worry about a couple of oldies scratching around. TFTC
