Due to the cache going missing multiple times in both locations and not wanting to essentially create a third puzzle, I'm regretfully archiving this one. Thanks to all those who found it.
Loved the exploration of this Cemetery - and found a distant relation (one of the clues for the cache). Thanks Bruzie!
New Zealand has moved to [COVID-19 Alert Level 2](https://covid19.govt.nz/alert-system/alert-level-2/). This means activities such as geocaching are now allowed, but please continue to maintain physical distancing and keep your hands clean, always take your own pen, and bring hand sanitiser with you. Be safe out there.
While New Zealand has moved down to [COVID-19 Alert Level 3](https://covid19.govt.nz/alert-system/alert-level-3/), geocaching is still not permitted. Please do not break the rules so that we can all go back to geocaching as soon as possible.
While New Zealand is at [COVID-19 Alert Level 4](https://covid19.govt.nz/government-actions/covid-19-alert-level/), I am disabling all my physical caches as the only travel you should be undertaking is to obtain essential supplies, and you should not be touching shared surfaces.
Any finds posted during this time (unless you are catching up on previous finds) will be deleted.

Lovely diminutive boneyard from a previous era. I turned out to be the misfortunate tester of the updated coords — but CO was quick to reply and amend them when I came up blank 100 m away. My wandering dragon steed today was understanding enough to make a small detour on the way past. Thanks bruzie!
Finally laid this to rest.
I spoke to the CO who confirmed that I had looked in the right place for the original cache but whether it was missing or whether I missed it who knows?!
He also confirmed that I was close but not close enough with this version.
On rechecking today the final coordinates he gave me placed me again where I was looking last time, though he had confirmed that wasn't the right place, but thanks to his advice and the amended hint it was a quick find though several metres from the solved coordinates he supplied.
I will message him with the averaged coordinates I obtained.
TFTC and for the guidance.
If it hadn't been for this cache and its predecessor (which I was aware of but didn't actually attempt before it got archived) I would have continued to take little or no notice of this small but significant cemetery.
Deserves a FP but the issue of the solved coordinates needs to be resolved.

Last Wednesday a friend of mine asked me if he wanted to help me finish this cache which he had started a couple of days before, I said yes because I had tried this one quite a while ago with another friend with no luck. We tried to solve the puzzle again with no luck.
FFW to yesterday when my friend told me that the CO had kindly given us the coordinates to the new location. Came looking for it today only a quick search and found it, logged it then replaced it. Very nice place with a cool back story.

Nice, cheeky hide, took me a while to find. Good hiding spot. No pen, so proof I found it, it is in a sistema to go snack holder. TFTC.
Tried to find this using the final coordinates kindly supplied by the CO after I responded to his offer as I had the previous solution.
Was hoping to finally turn this into a smiley but no luck, will contact CO as there may be a problem.

After the cache has gone missing multiple times, I've changed the hiding spot and updated the clues. If you've already answered the questions but not yet made the find, send me a message with your coordinates and I'll give you the new ones.
Well constructed multi in an interesting slice of history. Unfortunately no luck at gz but after contact with the CO he will check and see if we need to go to specsavers. Will keep on our watch list.
Good to finish this one off after finding the container had gone. Thanks for following up so quickly and replacing it, bruzie. Another 10 points for the Space Explorer challenge! Tftc.
I've put out a new container. If this one goes missing then I may have to rethink this one.
Found all the info and ended up at a likely spot, but no sign of a cache. Admittedly, I didn't have very long to search but CO may want to check it's still there as there haven't been any logs since September.
Went to take a look and yes, it's gone. Couldn't see it to perform a rescue so I'll have to put out a new container.
Nice quick find with the kids and the geohound. Lovely wee cemetery and interesting history. Excellent coords and not at the final. Thanks for bringing us here!
Thanks for the replacement Bruzie!
Came visiting last weekend, and calculated coordinates that appeared to make good sense, but NO cache to be found.
Really enjoyed the solving of this one, on a sunny afternoon.
Upon noting the CO had checked and replaced the log at the final location I was back quick-smart today to make a quick find.
TFTC! Gets a fav point from me!

Cache rescued and a fresh logsheet added. Please ensure that the cache is secure when replacing.
Nice little cemetery. Hadn't been to the greenway either. Nice first find for the day.
I have tried several times to locate this cache. It has proved elusive... until today.
I decided to try again from scratch. I came up with the same coordinates as last time. I looked in all the same places as last time. Then I sat down and had a think about my strategy. A little light came on somewhere and it was in the next place I looked.
Cache is in good condition. All nice and dry inside.
Thank you

Day 15 of our North Is trip spent in Wellington and Lower Hutt. I had a list of solved puzzles to find plus I wanted to do some maintenance of a few of my own hides in the Hutt.
This cache wasn't on "the list" but we were going past, and we enjoy cemetery multis, especially those in old ones. Being such a tiny cemetery, it didn't take long to sort out the final co-ords, which took us to a familiar location. StreetWalker made the find of the well tucked away cache. Thanks for bringing us back here and TFTC.

#13887. I seem to remember doing a cache here soon after we moved to the Hutt in 2010 (may have even been a multi). Good to do another cache in this interesting cemetery. TFTC.
A nice Multi, I just managed to complete before the rain came this afternoon. No trouble finding all the information, or working out a plausible Final spot. Cheers and TFTC
What a great geocache - thanks! The kids and I enjoyed exploring the cemetery. Had gone past it many times but never really noticed it! What a lovely spot. We then headed off to find the cache. It took a bit, but after a bit of pondering, we found it!
I'm catching up with my online logs. I found this one in the company of Mermaid Man - thanks very much for the cache.
We don't always enjoy graveyard multis I must admit. However we thought that we would give this one a go while in the area today and we were very pleased that we did.
This is a very atmospheric place and there was no problem with gathering the information required. The final location wasn't plain sailing but perseverance paid off and we had the container in hand after widening our search a little.
Thanks very much for the cache.

Had to pay a second visit here because the first time I was convinced I had done it already but not removed it from my unfound list. On closer examination it became clear that I had found an earlier cache in this location that must have since been archived. Anyway I now feel I know this little cemetery very well. After a bit of thought about possible spots for GZ the cache was located. The log sheet is in a bad way and needs replacing. It is very wet and just about full anyway. TFTC
I managed to glean most of the required information from a handy online resource run by the local council. A little educated guesswork and reverse engineering of the checksum came up with a plausible location so off I went. Unfortunately, both my GPS and my phone reckoned GZ was a few metres into the grassy area, and the hint didn't help much. I resorted to visiting the graveyard (A nice uncluttered peaceful little place) to confirm my data (I'd got it right) and back for another look. GPS still wasn't playing nicely, and checking a few obvious places revealed nothing so I abandoned this for today. Maybe GPS will be more helpful another day.
Solved this one as a back up to ensure I could claim the souvenir. Didn't need it yesterday so picked it up tonight before heading to dinner . My GPS says it's on the other side, but I found it in the end. Replaced as found. Tftc
Special occasion multi had us puzzled for awhile but soon had the cahe in hand !
#503 what was initially planned to be a quick find was not so quick. Nice to meet fellow cachers footsiefats. Looked together for a little and then they headed off and we continued the search on our own. Can't believed how we missed this ! It makes perfect sense and my coordinates were accurate. Thanks for the cache today.
Thanks brookenightingale and page withers! The team work was a real bonus, great to meet you all, just as well for us as that hint had us stumped! TFTC
#2251 Pleased the weather was far better recently when I solved this multi. I saved the final for a day that I really wanted a multi - today was such a day.
Thanks for showing me such an interesting cemetary. If it weren't for this hobby I would have never known this existed.
Found with wb1117 and wb-Jnr. Logged as WBx3 to save space on the log sheet.

Did today with The Wandering Dragons and Violet Butterfly. Cool spot for the final. Thank you!

Found today with The Wandering Dragons and Astro Hunter. Enjoyed climbing trees in the cemetery and helping find the final. Thanks!
Cache # 1,167
Cache # 1,167
Cache # 3,267 - Had some time to kill before a meeting with friends today in Lower Hutt, so came along with Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter to tackle this multi. It was lovely wandering through the cemetery collecting the needed information, and then wandering on to the final. Took a bit of searching there as one of the hints didn't make sense initially. After searching some likely spots, I then spied another possible location, and cache was very quickly in hand. Finally realised that the nonsensical clue was a kiwi-ism, and it made sense after finding the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC!

#2402. I needed one cache today and saw this nice multi tucked away in Lower Hutt. Enjoyed the visit to the cemetery. Fascinating insight of the pioneers who forged new lives here in New Zealand and the sad tales revealed by the gravestones in an era when healthcare was pretty basic. Managed to gather all the information needed and was happy to see I had the correct checksum. Then it was off to the GZ. A really well placed cache. Spied the hiding spot as I approached and managed to reach it today despite overnight rain. All dry inside. Signed and replaced cache as found. Thanks for the multi about another place I was unaware of.
A lovely peaceful little spot and like agnz I also remember doing the previous multi here. No problems gathering the required information or with the find.

My first multi! And a very interesting letter which mentions the Cemetery and a picture of 'C' in The Hutt News today.
Finally found this after 4 visits! That cryptic clue was a bit to cryptic for me (although looking back i do feel stupid for not figuring it out!!) <3 this cache, what a great little cemetery. A fav point from me! TFTC!!! (^‿^)

Walking do along stop bank this afternoon. Popped over to this tiny little cemetery for a little explore. Quickly acquired answers and then a little wander over to collect cache. Thanks for the nice multi and the cache.
Another great find with Just-Lookin.
Took a little while to sort the numbers out - thanks for the checksum!
Some first time geocachers were at site when we arrived but left soon after.
Took a bit of head scratching at final location to get the container found and signed.
TFTC - a good fun multi.

Really enjoyed this little multi with tmann421 today.
Had no idea this little cemetery was here. Enjoyed collecting the answers and then making our way to the final. I was looking in all the wrong places, while tmann collected the cache
TFTC bruzie, worthy of a favourite point

I've been in here previously, doing the same thing. Picking up clues for a cache. But a different cache on that occasion. One now archived, and which, as it happens, I didn't manage to find. Much better outcome on this occasion.
It is quite the little pocket of history tucked away in this shady Lower Hutt corner. Very good.
Managed the collection of the data relatively easily. Then off to GZ.
We were lucky enough to be straight on to the hide.
Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Last one for us today as it is just getting too hot!! We knew this would be sheltered with the old trees here and we like cemetery caches so really enjoyed the wander. As it is a small cemetery the information was soon in hand and the walk to the final was quickly done. Nicely hidden final and a FP from us for making us actually stop here instead of just driving past. TFTC
Almost didn't go for this one, but it was close and I was still awaiting a phone call to say I could collect Barnaby, which was being attended to at a nearby location. Only one waypoint, so why not? When I reached the cemetary I was very pleased I'd decided to look for this one. I've often driven past this spot and never knew there was a cemetary here. Although still quite early in the morning it was getting warm in Lower Hutt and the big shady trees all around and above the graves made the fact-finding part of the cache a very enjoyable experience. Must have visited all the graves at least twice looking for the answers, but once I had them all down I was pleased to see the checksum worked out first time. Then it was a short stroll (back in the hot sunshine) to a bit of park that I'd never visited before either. As I neared GZ I spotted some crib-walling: hate caches hidden in crib-walling, but on checking the hints I decided it probably wasn't. Hints 1 and 2 gave me a good idea where to look and hint 3 (once deciphered: I like cryptic clues) made it a very quick find. All in good order, no muggles in view, so quickly replaced the cache and then off to collect Barnaby. Thanks for a great multi bruzie, gets a FP from me.
What a cool little cemetery - didn't even know it was here. solved ok but no luck at the final WP. Will be back
Solved this with no troubles - what a great little cemetery. So small! We wandered down to the final WP, but had no joy finding the cache. No idea what the third hint means!
Went for this one after going to the latest edition of Star Wars. I quite like wandering around these old cemeteries. Information was soon at hand and a quick walk to the gz. Good clue and the container was shortly in hand. All quiet due to the drizzle. TFTC
I absolutely love cemetery caches, so this was my main target on today's geohunt. I knew about this little cemetery, but I didn't realise quite how tiny it was! It was straightforward and very enjoyable collecting the required information while reading the gravestones. A quick wander to GZ and moment of puzzling to understand the hint, until the penny dropped and I was able to sign the log in the warm sunshine. TFTC
I love visiting these places as there is so much history there. Found with UlmusLynx and Gilgul. One of the clues had us scratching our head once final was worked out, then UlmusLynx had a bright idea. TFTC
In the area with Gilgul and Selesi. Didnt realise this cemetery was here or the history behind it. Also lucky that on co-ords info was just updated. Reasonably quick co-ord determination and then off the final. Wasnt sure what one of the clues meant but then the penny dropped! Fairly easy find after that. TFTC
Wider lateral thinking would have made this easier once we knew the waypoints. Interesting layout of the area where the cache resides. Did this search with Selesi and UlmusLynx, who found the plant thanks to a flash of brilliance!
I had been to this Cemetery before as part of a quest to find a multi. That was soon after I took up geocaching and it was the first part of (I think) a three or four stage adventure. I never got past stage two and that cache ended up being archived before I could have another go.
Despite doing three laps this evening, I did not manage to find one of the answers. This meant I had to reluctantly use the checksum to work out the missing coordinate digit, knowing full well that an error could have me going down a wrong path. However, my solution seemed sensible and I soon found the treasure. Great work, bruzie.

Apologies for the missing information, I was using my reference photos and a different resource for compiling the answers and didn't refer back. I've updated the clue for K.
Last cache of the afternoon while in the area. A bit of deja vu here as there used to be a multi-cache with its first waypoint in this cemetery and I recall coming here quite a few years ago in similar circumstances to collect information from the gravestones. Everything was fine today except for the age in (K) - I could find the name but no more. However I was certain I had everything else correct so used the checksum to get the missing value. The cache was a quick find in the third place checked, about 10 metres away from where the GPSr was leading me. Signed log, TFTC!
After lot of over thinking we got the sucker, with the help of the3bearsnz TFTC
Decided we would try this cemetary multi on Halloween with the awesome4sumnz, we were quickly able to gather the information required and set out to find the cache. After a lot of searching (and over thinking of some of the hints), there was an eureka moment, after a slight change in our search area, our torches shone across something familiar, bingo the cache. Tftc
#2078 Out for a bike ride with newbie GC friends this evening and picked up this fun multi after finding a traditional down the cycleway a tad. Great fun and awesome to see friends enjoying the chase. TFTC!
One of those "why on earth hasn't there been a cache here before?" type of places. All but one of the clues was soon found then I decided to rely on the checksum. The cache was retreived at 1.30pm today, and I squeezed a countdown domino into the container for someone who needs it. TFTC.
Congrats to huhugrub for the FTF, and for pointing out my elementary maths error . I've adjusted the clue so it's now accurate and works with the checksum.
#7199. {FTF} @ 21:48 and first day find. Popped over to Melling for a quick exploration of the Bridge Street Wesleyan Cemetery. Collected all the relevant information, but had to make a small adjustment to B to get a more likely coordinate and for the checksum to work. Made our way to GZ, which was all quiet at this time. Found after a short search and after widening the area a little. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
