2832 I had loaded it into my GPS a few weeks ago.Found the container in pieces among the nearby ground cover. Found some paper in the car so placed it back on the fins of the transformer. On returning home I went to log this to find that it had been archived. Have logged the find and will be returning to Waiuku in the weekend so will remove the container then.

I'm going to archive this series as they don't seem to be working too well getting muggled and the cache magnets are a little weak. I will be starting some new caches around waiuku and Hamilton area soon

After finding two others in the series, I thought this would be a quick find. But alas not.

Over this way with the good wife (as opposed to the bad wife) to collect a rainwater tank for the new Greenhouse (present to myself) and so with a little time at hand it was an opportunity to grab a few more caches before needing to head back to Drury for a rpe christmas family gathering to spend time with those family that one only catch's up with at hatch, match and dispatch's.
thanks for putting this little gathering together and giving another reason to stop around here

thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

I love these painted transformers. Pukekohe is full of them and so are a lot of towns in the country. The fad is catching though am uncertain who started it.

Cheers for the cache.

Easily spotted the target before my van stopped. I figured if anyone was going to get a shock, it would have been the artist, so I started my search without trepidation. Easy find. TFTC.

#11638. One good thing about these transformer caches is that it's easy to tell where you need to park from some distance away. TFTC.

The weather forecast for the next few days is for rain, so we decided that today would be the best day to drive up the Awhitu Peninsula to the Manukau Heads. This is an area that neither of us had visited before and it was an interesting journey.
After "caching out" the Awhitu Peninsula, we headed into Waiuku to find a few caches and to find some dinner. On the way out of town, we passed by this cache so had to stop and look for the cache even though it was drizzling. Soon located it, thank goodness! TFTC.

Thanks for the transformer cache series. The last few cheered me up after a few DNF's in the area.

Had a good idea of what to expect, found the container on the ground, seems the magnet is a bit weak.

We have made our annual trek to Waiuku to see the Christmas Display (sad to hear it may be the last one), and thought we would grab a few caches in the area as well. A nice quick find with darthcacher1 and purply.

Magnet not attractive.

Found it. Magnet no longer works. .Set off soon after the cache was published and was half way to Waiuku when i had a call to return home. The problem at home kept me there until mid morning and then off i went again
