Logs
An enjoyable walk from the Coopers Creek end. This was the turnaround spot for us because we ran out of time to go any further. The cache was a quick find. I managed to write my name on the logbook but it really needs replacing. TFTC.
Good place to rest and to look for a cache! Log all wet - unable to write on it. Paper definitely needs to be replaced.
Great place to stop for a rest. Didnt take long to find the cache and then stop for a drink on the way to the falls. Didnt pack my spare logs otherwise we would have replaced the log.
We came to do the loop track from view hill entry. Lovely walk to do in the summer without the mud. Although lots of wasps and surprisingly forthright bumblebees! The poor dog got stung right before the intersection. It was a Quick find. Moisture damaged inside unfortunately. we placed back a little more securely and added a few treasures. The 5 year old was disappointed not to be doing swaps - but one more cache on the loop! Tftc
Easy find. But the previous post is right, container is intact but waterlogged with unsignable loggy mess. Thanks for placing tho!
An interesting place. We walked to the fall very muddy but fun. Found the cache. Paper very wet. If anyone has some dry paper and a new bag .?it would be great if you can drop it off. Tftc
Due to muddy track we took 2 hours to get to the intersection, much longer than what the sign said and we were still not at the waterfall yet. Took phone out and wow a geocache here!!! So grabbed it quickly and easily. Log is wet, we emptied water in container. TFTC.
Had a lovely walk up Mt Oxford, sunny, low breeze, good temperature. Decided to take the long way down, which had the added bonus of getting a new geocache. Had a quick find here, the cache sitting right under the totara. The logbook a bit wet though, paper starting to disintegrate, but managed to sign. Find # 791
After the summit, I chose to make the day longer by looping via Ryde falls. Had no trouble in finding this cache, but it was really hard to sign the log, as it was wet. TFTC.
Managed to etch my name on the logbook as it was damp. Had a great time doing a couple of hours exploring in the area and jumping mud puddles (sometimes successfully). TFTC!
Out for a walk with Siddles & non geocaching family, cache a bit wet - TFTC

Out for a wee family walk. These caches were sitting unfound, and so decided to get some fresh air as a whanau.
TFTC!
Sorry excuse all the generic logs, but I'm so behind in logging that other wise I'll never catch up !!

Great semi-loopy walk today, totaling almost 15km walked from Cooper's Creek and back and about 1kg of blackberries consumed... I have my 5+ a day for the week! Not sure who put the waratahs in the middle of the path to stick out about 4-6cm, not ideal for someone as unco as me One managed to escape my rather efficient scanning of the path ahead! TFTC!!
Out for a walk with the family during the school holidays. We parked at View Hill carpark and walked to Ryde Falls via the link track. Cache was found with the aid of the hint, due to patchy gps coverage. Cache is pretty good condition, despite the slightly damp log book. Many thanks for placing this cache!
Out and about with Nosynel and Jude_E. What a beautiful walk- and nice easy find! tftc
Team Warfi, Jude_E and Nosynel were on a mission. Our mission was Ryde Falls. Warfi being a Waimak resident had done all the park and grabs but hadn't done the walk. So we found those together and Warfi guided us on the others.
We really enjoyed the walk.
Sadly there is no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. I plan on going to the OzGeomuster in July. To find out more visit this site: https://www.ozgeomuster.com.au

Some impressive trees at this spot. This was one of the 3 Warfi, Nosynel and I had in our sights for the day. It was a nice warm day. No wind. Great track. Thanks for placing a cache here. #3276
I had a funny feeling I had missed a log somewhere.
We were passing through en route to Ryde falls test driving Mrs S.t.'s new boots.
It was a bit damp inside but the log was all good.
We spent a bit of time drying it all out then off again.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

First stop on today's 14km tramp from Coopers Creek to Ryde Falls and back. No real problem with coords. Got to within 5m and saw the hint object - who could miss that fine specimen?[^] Thanks for the cache.
The coords weren't great, but it was in the obvious spot, and the coords pointed 'past' that spot into 'nowhere'. A nice walk, and thankfully the rain eventually stopped for a nice walk back. Thanks.
Came out on a lovely Sunday walk with the family. Had our mind set on reaching the Rude Falls. Pulled up into the View hill carpark and there were a few other keen beans. Wharfdale track sweet but then we turned down the Bypass Track which was very boggy and still quite a bit of snow laying around. Slow going, with mud & Mrs TG tore her calf muscle on her morning run so found it double hard going! Found the Cache no worries. Lovely sloppy walk. Continued on the way to the falls, cool tramway info along the way, headed up to the falls, had some lunch, then walked out via the other track which cuts straight up to the Wharfedale (ie we walked the loop.). Took about 4hrs all up. Boys (8 & 6) did well...a good 8km all up.
Found quickly while running the 15km run. Was a great place to stop and have a breather Thanks for the cache!
Horklump and I had decided to go for a wander in Oxford Forest, and by chance there were two new caches that had not yet been found. We managed an FTF! We went from View Hill carpark and took a loop to the Ryde Falls. The falls were amazing, but I have never seen so many sandflies! TFTC
