Massive damage and debris to the weir and floodgates and cache has long gone. Very unattractive place so have decided to archive this cache
Cache has possibly been washed away in the recent floods. Will check on it when the road becomes drivable again.
On our way in to South West Rocks for a few days in the sun, except it’s pouring rain.Found this one with a short search, heaps of dead fish in the water.TFTC
Lovely spot, the girls enjoyed saying hello to the cows but unfortunately couldn’t find it.
Great to be back on the cache trail after a couple of years break. Thanks AidenKai for the gift.
Nice find. Didn’t know there were flood gates here. Log full, but was able to write on the bottom.
Was hoping for somewhere I could have a picnic lunch bit the wind was so bad I willgo Hungry a while longer. Walked away from where it was and spotted it on the way back to the original idea. As i walked back to the car realised i had stolen the pencil so ive found this a number of times now. Tftc

Found in the company of Key_Tat and Viper_101... We tried to get to this cache ages ago but attacked it from the wrong direction and got stopped by a farmers gate... fast forward to today and we found the 'other' road and we were soon at GZ. After a lot of searching around we had to message the CO to get a hint, and a bit more searching later we had the cache in hand and signed... TFTC.
Found with Tatt2squared and Viper_101... Thanks for placing this cache, it was a great end to a great days caching... TFTC

A great detour out along the backroad here
And while the farmer pushed dirt around with his tractor on the other side of the road,
I poked around to find me a cache
It took a while before me cache finding senses kicked in
Once they did the cache was a quick find
TFTC.

It was totally dark by the time I got to this one.
Had a short search before this one was located.

A fairly quick find here, we also found the needle box as mentioned in a previous log.
Unfortunately the logbook is soaking wet, we were able to write "husky" until our pen decided it didn't like the wet paper.
Thanks for the cache bobbiesgirl

Nice sneaky hide. Thought we spotted it in the fence however it was a drug/needle disposal container :/
Happily we were able to find this cache. Very well hidden and took us a while before we found the hiding spot only found after we widened our search a little. Thanks to bobbiesgirl for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Afternoon find with the geo-crew on our north coast tour to Urunga and beyond. Just about got blown away but we will add GZ to the list of spots to wet a line on future trips. Many thanks bobbiesgirl
That was an awesone hide. Just about to give up with a herd of cows watching on in amazement. And boom there it is. Sneaky hide
Another beautiful sunny day in paradise. At least to us southerners it feels like paradise given the miserable weather they are experiencing at home. We are loving our geotour of this great region. We have often driven through on our way north, so we decided this year would be the time to take it easy and check out all these lovely spots we have usually bypassed.
Do cattle count as muggles? If so we had over 20 glossy black Angus young steers taking lots of interest in what we were doing! There was a snake muggle as well. Thankfully Mrs Ski didn't see him or the cattle would have been quite startled!

Found next to a dead fish and a snake skin, which the cows found hilarious!
Our last cache for the day and Mrs Mystery Sleuth found this one in a flash. What a great little location and awesome way to end our day of Caching. TNLN SL TFTC
Spent 10 minutes poking around without luck before the nearby farmer headed in my direction on his 100 year old tractor. By reading some of the past logs it looks a bit more difficult than a D1. I'll be back.
Brilliant little location - we would have never known this was here! We spent a long time watching all the fish jumping out of the water before heading off to search for the cache. Found pretty quickly and we replaced it just as the street suddenly became very busy
Thanks for bringing us to this location, amazing what you can find in your local area whilst geocaching.

Found this cache today on our way to South West Rocks. It's a really nice place that we haven't been before. Thanks for the cache.
GPS had me off in the trees and a lot of rubbish. After moving search area came up with the cache. Took Nothing Left nothing Slgned Log
Found at 11:20 AM GAFF1 in the company of Team Nurse Hayley.
With a good number of caches building up in the SWR area, we headed off to clean up the 15 or so caches, have some lunch at the tavern, have a swim in the beautiful waters, then maybe go to Stuarts Point to pick up a few that have appeared there. Well not much of that plan eventuated even though we got home at 7.30 pm - however we did score 6 FTF's and FDF's
To find this cache we at first ignored where the GPSr was indicating as we thought that the location would be susceptible to flooding. So we looked at the more familiar hiding spots only to have to come back to the "susceptible" one after nothing turned up [:o)]
Thanks bobbiesgirl.

Had to return in the afternoon as many locals were fishing on the weir. A busy spot. Found it on our return. Tact.
what a pretty place to visit. Would never have come here if it wasn't for geocaching. TYFC Bobbiesgirl. left TB "one Fish" because it is near water
Arrived into South West Rocks & have set up camp in the caravan park.
The co-ordinats were all really good which makes for a excellent caching experience.
We passed this road as we arrived into town but decided to return without the caravan. There was a couple fishing on the bridge when we arrived. Bill wandered off to talk to them while I searched for the cache, eventually we spotted the hiding spot.
Left a TB here.
