Decided on a walk from Trial Bay Campground to this one along front beach. Made a quick find but didn't see the bridge. TFTC
Find #1671
We pulled a lap around the river with the Mighty Minions and Leopard Kat, grabbing a quick half dozen, before heading to the scrumptious Trial Bay Kiosk for lunch. The mozzies were really picking up speed now!
A much quicker find than the previous. The bridge is certainly not rickety these days..... TFTC

Grabbing a few caches with Lee737, Samuel737 and leopard Kat before heading home after a great weekend away camping. We had come here for a nearby cache and I hadn't seen this cache on the map, Lucky Lee737 spotted it and we grabbed it while walking past. Thanks for the cache bobbiesgirl tnln sl
Day 3 in SWR for the event.
This was a pleasant stroll. Parked nearby and wandered along the track to GZ and then on to the beach. Nice view. TNLN TFTC

Find No: 6309. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Trial Bay for the HAVOC Incarcerated Event, thanks for the cache bobbiesgirl!!
It appears we took the long and varied but bridgeless route to the cache - down a dune track, along the beach and up a sandy path. It wasn't till after we found the cache that we found the bridge and not a ricket to be heard. Nice little upgrade. TFTC bobbiesgirl.
A couple of caches to find in the morning before meeting up with ozglory.
Wow what a flash new bridge, this will make the trek to the cache so much easier. A pleasant walk along the sandy track, a fire has been through here some time recent. Bill made the find at GZ we did not continue onto the beach.

Hi there bobbiesgirl.
We found your cache **"Rickety Bridge to Front Beach"** at 11:16:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 17636).
We cached around South West Rocks & Arakoon today. We thoroughly enjoyed our jaunt around the area & ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 13 caches (& DNF'd 1). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
We made the approach to this cache far more difficult than it needed to be - our GPS doesn't know about the shortcut track, so we approached from Trial Bay Beach Track.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Today we moved on from Scotts Head and decided to have a look at South West Rock, a place we have not been to before.
We have set up camp nearby so headed off on the deadly treddly to find a few caches nearby.
We turned off the pathway down the track and over the bridge but it wasn't long before the sand beat us. Not to be outdone we chained the bikes to a tree and continued on.
We often cringe a bit a these hides but fortunately it was spotted pretty quickly and we were back on our way.

Well what a nice way to finish our trip to South West Rocks. Thanks for placing this cache bobbiesgirl, tnln sl
There is a track from the beach. We don't recommend the direct cross country method. Hate these hanging ones. But this was an easy find. Log damp.
The rickety bridge is no more. I discovered that yesterday when my wife and I were going to go in the other side. Maybe when we ever come back it will be replaced with a metal one. On our morning walk along the beach presented the chance of finding this one. We went to far so I went bush while my wife waited further along the beach. I encountered the track and was only a few metres away from the caching trail that has developed. Soon saw what I had to do the get this one. Thanks bobbiesgirl.
A nice walk up the beach past the now exposed wrecks.
It wasn't until I went to sign the log that I realised I had lost my pen along the way.
Took a photo of log instead as I didn't want to walk all the way back again to sign it.
Nice hide.

No description or Hint in the GPS loaded last year, finding the bridge out of order, so followed a track from the locked gate, and bush-bashed to the GZ, most disapionted not the find a D2. The track was nicely mowed from the beach to the bridge that's closed.
Ingenious love it we first thought how we gunna grab it then we noticed the system to lower it that's a great idea for a cache ?thanks for the cache the ewoks ? ? ? ? ?
A late night stroll with the faithful hounds and a find by torchlight
Well done bobbiesgirl

Found at 2:39 PM GAFF5 in the company of Team Nurse Hayley.
This was our favourite cache for the day - a lovely walk, but it then got really hot off the beach track. A nice set up with the cache mechanism which we didn't have any trouble with as we were very gentle with it - well Hayley was at least
Thanks bobbiesgirl.

Have amended description and increased terrain rating, cache is good to go again for those willing to walk along the beach.
Have to disable this cache for the time being, local hooligans have wrecked the bridge and council have blocked it off
