Took a good search, the hint is good but lots of leaves and rain had hidden this well and took a bit to uncover it. Pleased to have persisted.Day two in Oberon with sacada while in town with a family event. Having been working on a few puzzles over the past day or two we stopped for a few more. Has a chance to do a few other caches, AL, multi and an oldie. Sunday wasn't the best day to do a church multi, and had a proactive paster experience at one and a memorable walk through some tough terrain for an old cache. Lovely area and scenery. The rain at 5.30pm called us to a stop, time to head back into town, catch up with the folk there, and grab pizza for dinner. Thanks for your cache that helped us explore the area.
Townsville to grab the Palm Island LGA. Now only 2 LGAs to complete Australia.Back around Canberra and doing some side trips.TFTC. Another day in Oberon. A multi around the churches on a Sunday morning can bring some interesting situations. Did some more of the solved puzzles, a bunch of trads, a difficult trad, the Ad Lab, an Earth Cache, and also out to Jenolen for an old cache. Was a bit suspect on the answers so guesses were good at the end and Aquilus1 with good digging skills found it.
A convenient location to stop. Safe parking and accurate coords. Great. TFTC Joshwa27
Not this rock see next rock.
Find it and sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.

2nd cache. 2nd dnf. Searched the solved coords, and once we found the memorial, we thought it not a good place to hide. Read some logs, and realised it's been moved so we moved there, but still no good by torch light. Oh well. Hope the weekend us more fruitful.
The truck driver parked next to the GC was napping in the park....so a quick find. TYFTC
There is quite a bit of maintenance work going on at GZ. Lots of orange tape very close to GZ, and there has been some reorganising of the parking area. We had a decent search and used the hint, but we could not find this cache,
Was more than happy to backtrack down here to help you replace after attempting your 5/5 cache, especially after the amazing things you do for geocaching in the Central West/Blue Mountains. Wasn't sure exactly where the original was but went as close as possible to the zero mark. It is a bison tube in the shrub above the rocks mentioned in the hint. There's a little bit of paper in there for now as I didn't have a log with me.
We are on a cachey 10 day holiday, starting off with 2 nights at Emu Plains to hopefully collect the new GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and some more of the Band caches north of Penrith. Then it’s 5 nights at Oberon to collect some of the many new & old puzzle caches that we have solved around the area, and also hoping to complete the Oberon Adventure Lab. After leaving Oberon we will be visiting Jenolan Caves, for both the caves and the Jenolan EarthCache, then heading to Katoomba for 2 nights to ride the Scenic World attractions (Railway, Cableway, & Skyway) and to do a few caches of various types plus an Adventure Lab. We will end the holiday with a stop-off at Wentworth Falls for some more caches and a couple of Adventure Labs.
Today we are travelling from Emu Plains to Oberon, with stop-offs at Medlow Bath and Blackheath for some caches and Antique Shop browsing, and will be taking the Coxs River Road route from Little Hartley to collect some of the "Coxs River Roads Rambling" cache series.
Solved the puzzle at home, but failed to find the cache at GZ today. Scratched around for a while but just couldn't spot the cache. Thanks for the puzzle anyway Joshwa27.

Floating around while the others use their amazing skills to search for the cache - usually it's me snooping around for the find. Log signed and replaced and the scene evacuated TFTC
Found -- 5:50 pm -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *Joshwa27*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Solve**
Solved: 1 November 2019
Worked on this Mystery just before I was due to head on my trip up as I could not pass this by. An interesting, as always, history.
**The Cache**
A somewhat quick find. Signed the log with our caching names or some scrambled form of *TOC, DJJ, LP* or even attached a cache name sticker, and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
I was thrilled to finally see **The Millionth Acre** as we passed by. I've seen much nice photos of this place on the internet, but was really disappointed at the amount of rubbish strewn around, and the overflowing bins - really off putting. I love the name of this location.

19,228. Found during a weekend caching meander with minniek and GLISS!, and an awesome time was had.
Our first aim was to do the Coxs River Road series, and we had to pass this old DNF fron June 2017 on the way. Today was a quick stop and find - always nice to cross off a DNF. We are on the board for the weekend - cool !
Thanks Joshwa27 !! The first of several of your caches this weekend.

Headed north for a caching weekend away with fitzy_1965 & GLISS!
First stop was for fitzy & I to avenge a two year old DNF. Thankfully a super quick find here today.

A great way to spend a weekend - a trip away with minniek & Fitzy_1965 - yay! This was our first find for the trip. The history had been researched by minniek & fitzy beforehand and it was a quick find at gz by fitzy. Thanks for another interesting "History of..." cache.
This is another history cache where we enjoyed the research to get the answers and hence the coordinates. It was starting to snow as we arrived at GZ. After surveying the immediate area, one spot took our attention and after a little excavation, the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks *joshwa27* for the puzzle and cache.
After working puzzles between canberra and lithgow last night this became an easy find with Genghicat in tow. Cache is in good condition. Nice to have toilets nearby. Tftc
The second of these caches for the day and I didn’t think we were going to get it. A muggle had parked right next to GZ for a snooze, and I didn’t want to creep her out by waking her up! Thankfully we had some mobile reception and the darling wife needed to make a call. Before she had finished sleeping beauty woke up and returned to the road, allowing for a quick find.

I'm a real fan of these History of caches and have solved quite a few ... not sure how many but certainly way more than I've found. It's therefore good to get a chance to convert one of those solves into a smiley. I was alone in the rest area here so it didn't take too long to locate the hide though I had ab lots of rocks to check around GZ.
Thanks for the cache and another history lesson Joshwa27.

Our first cache of over 200 found this long weekend whilst enjoying touring the area mostly along 'less travelled' roads. TFTC!

Our fourth day of caching through NSW had us driving the famous Mount Panorama Circuit before picking up some presolved puzzles and heading east of Bathurst for the Blue Mountains.
Picked this one up as we headed down to the caves.
Thanks Joshwa27 for the cache.

Had a caching day out today so solved this last night. I headed back along the Jenolan Caves Road after doing some caches and needed a break so it was a good place to stop. There were muggles around so I had lunch while I was waiting. Then after looking around worked out where it might be. Cache found, logged signed, and returned as found. TFTC
Had a great weekend in Oberon with the caravan club. Unfortunately had to come home today, so solved the puzzle last night, to get this on the way.
Needed a TOTT to access it, so borrowed geowife's walking stick.
Thanks for the history lesson and the cache.

The history is interesting! Hardest thing was opening the container. Nifty, though. Tftc!
Enjoyed doing this history 1’s some were easy to research & others took a couple of goes – a devilish hide but found easy enough - thanks - TFTC / TFTH / SL
On a 2 day caching adventure with GeodudeAU to clear some caches over the Blue Mountains. Starting from Hartley heading south to stop by Burraga Dam overnight, then heading north to Rockley and Oberon. We had a very successful trip, notching up 115 smileys, and exploring many out of the way places. Lots of interesting scenery and wildlife along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these hides. TFTC
Out with Brewmaker on a two day adventure. On this, our first day, we started at Hartley on the Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail, and through Hampton. Then it was onto The Road Less Travelled touring trail (our third time out for this series) past Duckmaloi and Black Springs where we picked up the rest of the trail around Mount David and Burraga. We camped for the night at the Burraga Dam camping ground bside the lake - a beautiful place and one to remember.
It was perfect weather to be touring around the countryside, seeing lots of native birds and farm animals along the way. We also picked up some other associated caches along the way. Thanks to all of the cache owners for the clear directions, hints, and good easy hides. Only a couple took more than a minute to locate. TFTCs

Solved this before coming over to Australia and then a quick park and grab on the way back from Jenolan Caves. TFTC
A quick find on the way out from the Caves. Parked and the GPSr said 4m.
We went to the likely feature and soon unearthed the hide and completed the signing duties before rehiding. TFTC

Found this cache after looking for quite some time, even had a muggle helping. checked every rock and crevice to no avail the muggle then said "is this it?" he had picked up a small container with a new piece of paper out in the open. Was it the cache? So we signed the log and have placed it back hopefully where it should be. Perhaps a check could be done.
Nice rest area.
Thanks joshwa27 for the hide.

I scoured every rock within 25m but no cache. I know I'm working with correct coords given the checker confirmed so.
Adding to the list of dnfs looked under every shrub and rock we could find but no luck
A pre-solved puzzle we tried today during our run around the area, but despite a 20 minute search no luck for us. Maybe next time !
Taking advantage of the long weekend, Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head up to the Lithgow area caching along the way. Our main aim was the Jenolan Caves MPT with a few extras here and there. We appreciated the wide variety of caches found and thank the CO's for their caches.
We spent a good amount of time searching but came up with nothing.

I got a positive result from the checker. But when I came to finding the geocache we could not.
Heading back to Sydney today, hoping to get a few caches if we are able to stop with a caravan in tow. TFTC Quick find
A journey to the caves brings us to this cache, thanks for the journey and isn't it spectacular!
Find #771
Our second 'History of' cache now, with Gulgong last weekend. Dropped in at GZ on our way down to visit Jenolan Caves today for Samuel737's birthday. Made a quick find, and rehid before some very keen picnicking muggles got set up in ambient 9 deg C and threatening rain..... TFTC Joshwa27

A caching Weekend away with Wilbert67, so glad the weather cleared up, we had a fun trip and good company. We prepared our selves with many solved puzzled, and collected other caches along the way. love the Bathurst and the outer areas. This was a very scenic spot. TFTC
Second day of our weekend around Bathurst/Lithgow. Again lots of puzzles and lots of fun. Some tricky and a few DNF as well, but overall very happy with the results. J+J.AU as my caching friend made a big difference, thanks guys for having me along once again!

On our way to Jenolan caves today and decided to collect a few smileys on the way in. We had solved this one prior to our visit today. It was interesting to research the answers in preparation for out visit. This one was found very quickly, signed and replaced. Thanks for placing.
Found today with pjmpjm on our expedition to table Mountain.
Thanks for the cache.

Another find as rogerw3, whitemushroom and I travelled back home from a trig expedition to Table Rock.
Special thanks to whitemushroom for his input on this one.
All was well with the cache. TNLNSL.
And of course thanks once again to *JOSHWA27* for yet another interesting historical hide!

#3626- This was a straight forward puzzle with evince giving me the go ahead the first time. At GZ we stopped to find a guy repairing a huge truck and signs nearby saying 'under servuelance'. Luckily the find was so quick that neither would have taken any notice. Thanks
Had been at Jenolan to see the melbourne ska orchestra play in the grand arch supported by the rhythym hunters. And decided to give this cache a go in between admiring the work of mushrooms. Don't know if this cache will have a long life, so tried to hide it with a bit more camo. TFTC TNLN
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Found nice and early in the morning on our way back from Jenolan Caves the Little Roo made the find and was very exctied to swap for one of the items in this cache leaving behind some of her most prized plastic dinosaurs. thanks JOSHWA27
We had decided that we would pick up some more JOSHWA27 caches from our list of completed puzzles. We still have a lot to work out but it is fun researching the answers. We also have some traditional caches on the list for the day. Thank you for your contribution to the caching world.
Quite cool and foggy out this way today.
Nice history lesson and quick find and sign.

There were a couple of ladies hauling things from their 4WD to the picnic tables and they were not the lest bit concerned with my strange behaviour. TFTC.
I solved the riddle while at Jenolan Caves and we pickt this up together with Dino and Pebbles on the way back out to Sydney. Nice place to stop on the road. Since there are no caches around the caves this was a welcome cache to remeber thhe trip. Left Pathtags. TFTC
Together with all Member of the Flinstones we made this quick stop on the way out from Jenolan to remeber the nice Caves by a Cache.

Last time we stopped here, there were people everywhere, today, we had the place to ourselves. Grabbed the trackable.
Working out this way today and found some time to answer the questions. The age of the initial formation is mind blowing. GZ is temporary home to some road works but no one was around when arrived. Quick find, left Tb. Thanks Joshwa27
On a wander westward for, mostly, the CO's History series of caches - and on a sunny summer's day what else but to do ...
After incompetence, a lost hour doubling back, then muggle frustration at a previous cache, there was need for some cache satisfaction - heck, a log signed! Oh, dear ... muggles! across the way. Whatever the 'mushroom was up to it seemed doubtful it was noticed. Seek. Found. Logged. Thanks for the history lesson and the cache *JOSHWA27*

This was the second mystery by Joshwa27 we stopped for along this road as we headed to Oberon to meet Canary. Little did we know that Joshwa27 appears to have been following us, like some evil fairy, placing caches behind us as we went. Thanks

We found the Lowther Park cache on our way out to the Caves, but left the others for the drive home. So after a fun day going through the Temple of Baal and Lucas Cave, it was back to caching. I had already solved this one, but if I hadn't been able to, I probably would have been able to get the info on our cave tours, as the guides gave a few of the answers in their talks .
Anyway, I had turned off my GPS when we got to the caves, and forgot to turn it back on until I parked here. And the satellites weren't being cooperative, it took ages for it to get satellites and tell me where to go. It was finally turning on when I looked around and spotted something suspicious. So I actually made the find before I had a GPS tell me where to look
Thanks for an interesting puzzle
