Out for a day of caching with CuriousQuest. After finding a nearby cache, we made our way to this one. We searched and searched for this one without luck. I was about to give up when my caching buddy called out "Got it". Hmmmm, that is quite some way off where our phones were telling us to search. With our names added to the log. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Out for a day of caching down the coast with Selva Girls. We headed out and found an assortment of different types of caches and this was one of them. All caches were found easily enough and once the log was signed; all were returned as found. TFTC
Caching today with RoddyC, hatzofff and Imbunda again but hopefully no big walks!!
Made our way to GZ where we searched all likely hides and hatzofff found it. Certainly has seen better days as container clips are broken. Log signed, cache returned in its hide.

Out caching with RoddyC, Hatzofff and Patrol14 to turn a few coloured spots into Smilies in the hope of getting another Souvineers soon.
This was a hard slog today after a huge day yesterday.
Cache needs some TLC as it is far from happy.
Found it, signed the log before replacing as found. TFTC

What a superb cache! For a few reasons, objective and subjective.
Took the bush trail up to GZ and the walk gave me an odd sense of de ja vu. About a month ago, while caching in Connecticut about 16,000km from this cache, I walked up a similar, yet-less-Aussie suburban woodland hill in search of a cache. That North-East-American hill had less long grass and more fallen leaves, but the two spots feel so similar! So crazy!
Add to that feeling the Halloween-themed cache and the unique view of Dreamworld and the Gold Coast just past the tree line, and I’d give this cache multiple favourite points if I could. Squeezed my name in where I could on the full log.

2nd find on today's adventures on the way to the community event on Labrador. TFTC!
This took a bit of searching, and it was right where my GPS said zero (or at least the fourth or fifth place it said zero!). TFTC.
"We took about 10 minutes but it was so fun and it was my first time 24-4-22", says lil Tia'ri after persistence in the drizzle
While collecting a nearby cache I found this one soooooo very close & so off we plunged back into the bush. After a search & another search we read some logs & kinda gotta gist of what we might/should be looking for & not long after that we found it.
We were in the neighbourhood so M65 decided we should grab this one as well. Took us an age to find although coords were well within the allowable. Must have been all that wine last night
I came up the hill and in broad daylight… but I’m sure I made this harder than it needed to be…
Geepers just wouldn’t settle… so I started widening my search area… getting close to the point of quitting, I thought there was a feature that deserved investigation further up the slope… but it wasn’t until I was returning to my original GZ that I spotted the marker for this cache….
It has deteriorated over time and perhaps doesn’t look as spooky as it once did… tftc… grabbed the TB here that wasn’t logged in…

It was a relief to find this one after the trek up the hill and the previous DNF's , left a trackable
Very cool, kids loved this one. Will have to come back at night to see the full effect.
We decided we need to spend a bit more time cleaning up our map around the southern realms so today we headed south to start at Upper Coomera & work our way north to Eagleby.
#10 of 27 smilies earned today!
The walk downhill from our previous find was almost as taxing as the walk up but for different reasons altogether.
I almost turned both ankles, multiple times, but luckily I was wearing my safety thongs.
This one took a few minutes to locate as, like quite a few other cachers, I too found this one in daylight.
Nicely done.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Apologies... just deleted previous log, as I should have logged this one.
After achieving our goal of collecting Fifty-1, we came for a walk up the hill. Our thoughts for a quick find were dashed, when we found ourselves going around in circles. We were nearly ready to give up when Mr Domsky gave a shout of joy. There it is! What a lovely hide, and I’m sure this one would be a fun one to find at night. Nonetheless, even in the daylight it was a happy and very cute location.
Thanks D&Mocha,
Domsky

After walking around and scouring the area, we managed to spot this during the daytime! Very lucky, we were about to give up! Thanks for the cache, would be very cool at night!
I spent 30 minutes wandering around the GZ without spotting anything. There are some large branches recently fallen of the large gum trees and I was a bit concerned as the wind was blowing pretty strong and I didn't want to find another one falling on my head while I was here.
This would have been fun to do of a night but unfortunately I could only visit during the day. Nice cute setup at GZ, one that little kids would love finding with their parents. Thanks CO for the good hide.

Love the decorations for this cache and how they are all still there after all this time.
After climbing the hill for the most ungratifying DNF, we headed back towards the car hoping our luck would change. For a while it looked like we had bet all our money on yellow, and were playing roulette. In fact we walked around the cache a few times because the GPS just kept pointing us right at it.
We just thought we were going to have one of those days where you should have just stayed in bed and maybe booked in a hair appointment to get a perm. I think that both Mrs Woodyrothwell and myself both assumed each other had checked the location.
I was just about to park up my marbles and go crying home to my mummy when the tell-tale was spotted on the final loop. In the end I did ring my barber but he said that perms were out and purple-rinses were in. I have an appointment booked for 3:40pm. tftc

Out late on an overcast night. We'd left this cache unfound for a while as it was close to home and we are trying to get a cache a day. Tonight this is as far as I wanted to go so geodog and I set out with a torch.
Quick find at night but amazingly camoflagued. What a great cache. Will move TB on

TFTC. Went in search of this one as I needed a Footprint. Walked in circles for a little while before finally finding. I love Halloween and this cache was fantastic, definitely worth doing at night.
What a great idea. I got a little fright because I was here at night. Love the effort.
Wandered round and round in circles before I spotted this. Very cool cache.
Thanks for the cache D&Mocha. This was find #4299.

Mrs SP and I are out having fun caching on the Gold Coast today and this was an 'unexpected' cache for us to visit. We have some caches targeted and this one just happened to be close to one of those. I'm so glad we decided to pick this one up to - I really wish we'd visited at night and near halloween. Kids will love it! All was good at GZ D&Mocha, it's nice to find creative caches that are a little bit different, TFTC

Thursday. Out today with Raynersinoz, we realised there was another cache in the area that we hadn’t thought to look for whilst we were up the hill, so we went a different way and headed down the road and then up the easement to get this cache. Spotted this cache as I walked past the tree and thought I couldn’t believe what I was looking at! What a great cache Loved the theme for this one and the cache container.
This was the 3rd of 12 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***D&Mocha***, for showing us this place.

On the power line trail with dahumbug today, and this cache was our next to find. This one took a couple of minutes to find but not hard at all. I like the theme of it.
Thank you D&Mocha for something quirky.

After a day on the water the day before, it was decided that today would be an easier day finding some urban stuff. I have found the nearby cache but CoolumRoo hadn't so we decided to walk the whole run under the power lines.
This was a nice surprise find at GZ,I like the theme, not your usual.
Cheers D&Mocha

Would have waited till night time but was in the area so went for the find. ODST 501 and I looked for a little while on this one as the GPS wouldn't settle but as always points you in a specific vicinity of where it could be. Thought I'd check a certain spot and what do you know, gut feeling proves to be right this time. TFTC, signed and returned.
Heading down to see Mum for a belated Mother's Day lunch, so I took the opportunity to get out for some early bushwalking and caching.
After trundling up the hill, I found the cute little setup here.
Thanks **D&Mocha** for bringing us here, this find makes #3601. Discover our trackable TGQNRV.

After finding the nearby cache in a matter of seconds, I thought that this one would also be a quick find.
It was not to be. There were a multitude of hiding spots, and cobwebs everywhere. I eventually found the interesting cache after going around in circles for a while!

On the Gold Coast visiting family and now it time to do some caching.
Todays task is to finding D/T caches combinations that I have low numbers in..
GPS was a little out so some walking around was required. Then I spotted it.. glad it was daylight as if it was night time I would of got very scared.

I am heading to Tweed head and have allowed a few days caching along the way from Toowoomba.
Over 2 half days and 2 full days caching I found over 130 caches.
Today was my second full day caching and found over 50 caches again.
Found after a short search.
Thanks for the cache.

Had a little bit of time up my sleeve when in the area and so decided to stride up this slope to try to find this cache. After ignoring the gps and thinking I saw a good spot I realized my mistake when it was not the right place. Looking at the gps it then took me straight to GZ and the cache was discovered. Nice little hide D&Mocha. Log signed it was replaced as found and it was time to go. Cheers!
I had just found my daily cache find up the hill but I noticed this one nearby when I went back to my car so decided to take a swing at it too. Back up the hill I went and this time managed to get dire ted straight there by the satellites.
What is this I see.. very fitting to the cache name. cool camo.
Thank you for this cache D&Mocha, another aspect of the view seen earlier here and I had a giggle being able to see people being dropped fown the tower miles away at the fun park.
Thanks for the fun.

Having just found [Donuts](https://coord.info/GC619WQ) further up the hill, our post-Dreamworld caching posse then headed down the edge of the bushland to this nice little Loop-7 DT [^]
Took a few minutes to circumnavigate the correct tree and discover the Halloween surprise. Luckily it was just on dusk, so the Glow in the Dark **bonus** was on full display

Took me a little while to locate this one as the GPS wouldnt settle. Once I did find it, I can now see why its a halloween cache lol. Love the work put into this one D&Mocha, Well done Cache signed, replaced and time to head home for a shower.
Thanks D&Mocha for the placement of this cache, working my way towards 6,000 [^]

What a great themed hide, the kids would absolutely love this.
It was daytime when I visited, but I can still appreciate the effort that went into it. I enjoyed the location here too.

I parked in a nearby street and made preparations for the hike. I hadn't worked my legs out at the gym this morning so I was keen to power up the hill. The trek to the GZ was surprisingly quick, barely a chance to bust a sweat actually, and I soon found myself hunting around numerous potential hiding spots. After about 10 minutes I located the neatly crafted hiding area - how cool This cache would definitely be a better experience done at night...and on Halloween. SL TNLN TFTC!
With just a little time for one more find, I spotted this green mark on the map and was a little confused knowing that I had found the two in this area. Only to find that when I checked this mark it had a new name.
Having been here before I figured it should not be to hard to get into this one and get it signed off. I did choose to park in a different spot to last time (bottom of the hill instead of top) and soon found myself working the legs to get up there. The distance ticked down quicker then expected and soon had the cache in hand.

My target had been a cache that was very close to this one. It seemed silly not to walk the few hundred metres to get to this one.
My GPSr took me for bit of a wander around some trees before I found this one. All I needed was the right angle and it was easily spotted.
I did this in daylight and it was still worth the visit. I am sure it is much more spooky at night.
Nicely crafted. [^]

This is our fourth visit to this part of the Upper Coomera area to turn ALL the caches here into smileys.
I see this is more or less a replacement for the now archived "Vitamin C" cache which was just nearby here, so we had a fair idea where to park to find this cache, and it was indeed located as expected.
Cleverly themed cache, Dior! I like your imagination.
Found at 2.30pm on 11th November 2015. TFTC.

Out with RoddyC for an afternoon of unexpected surprises and this was one of them.
Headed in from where we parked through the dark forest.
I spotted the cache and headed towards it.
Once at GZ, our Halloween expectations were met.
I half expected an owl to hoot or wolf to howl or a zombie hand to appear at my feet then I would have been out of there like a shot.
Well themed.

Continued the walk from the other cache nearby - took a little searching but what a creative hide. TFTC D&Mocha.
I've been waiting for a good night to get out for this one... the weather was great tonight so off we went ( with my two boys ). The hike up was a bit rocky and after wandering around the general GZ region with my dodgy phone gps for a little while, we spied the cache location. The boys though it was pretty cool... even if it was a little smaller than we expected. TFTC !!!
I saw the post on facebook and I was heading out to another cache so I figured i'd swing by for a look. I noticed the co-ords were close to a recently archived one so I parked where I did for that one then headed off into the darkness. As I walked through the spider webs I occasionally spotted something big flutter away ever so quietly out the corner of my eye. It wasn't until I was on the way back that I realised it was a bird. Not sure what type but it was surprisingly pretty quiet for it's size.
Anyway I made it out to the power line clearing then headed for GZ. I could faintly see where the fire had been with my crappy torch but finding the cache took some time. I eventually spotted something glowing from a distance then wandered over. Cool hide D, I was however surprised to see another name already on the log above mine.
Anyhow glad I stopped in, thanks again D&M
