The blue frown amongst the sea of smileys is bothering me - my only dnf in the majura parkway series, so I called by today for another look.
No luck, and with a fair history of dnf's I think its time for a check by the CO.

Spent a few minutes looking at various points along the wall, but without success. Third dnf in a row - might need a CO check.
Thanks anyway, toyhunters

No hay, and no amount of looking nor scraping under the wall with sticks or anything produced that coveted blue tin; so DNF it is for us.
Day 2 of our weekend journey to Canberra to clear out some of the trails. OCW The Bebes, AlphaDeltaIndigo and JordsAU cycling along part of the Majura Cycleway and any others in this area. A long day was ahead of us in the hunt as we headed off in the cold and wet for a day of caching. Some great hides and views along the way. Plus plenty of wildlife. Thanks to COs for placing these hides. What a great cycleway. TFTC

Found with AlphaDeltaIndigo, Brewmaker and The Bebes.
I have been working towards a self imposed target, with the goal of the upcoming Giga Event in Cincinnati OH to be my 4,000th milestone. Needing in excess of 200 caches before I fly out to the United States of America in just over a week’s time, I hatched a plan to spend a weekend in our Nation’s Capital to help me reach the required number. I floated the idea out to a few geo-buddies and there was immediate interest, so we made the necessary arrangements and were eager to get going.
It was an early morning start on the Friday. I picked up The Bebes on the way through and we swung by the newly published ‘Whites Creek Wetlands’ Earth Cache (GC7MW51) in Annandale for a quick First To Find to start the trip on a positive note. Continuing on to Brewmaker’s, we hopped in the Brew-mobile, with the bikes on the back, and hit the road towards Canberra. The main target for the first day was to complete the section of the Canberra Centenary Trail (CCT) from Hall to Bonner. It was cold, windy and a little wet, but the mountain bikes ate up the trail and the riders conquered the mountain. In the evening, AlphaDeltaIndigo bussed in from Sydney and we relaxed in the warmth of a pub to watch a thrilling Swans victory on the big screen.
The Saturday was almost as full on but the riding was a little easier than the first day. We cycled the length of the Majura Cycleway series and back again, in similar weather conditions, picking up as many caches as we could along the way. After a surprisingly good dinner at a veggo restaurant in Dickson, we continued driving around town to finish up a long day with some more finds.
We woke on our final day of the trip to sunshine and slightly warmer weather. The main objective for the Sunday was to complete as many caches of the University of Geocaching Canberra (UGC) series as we could, as well as others in that area. We struggled on a few (and had to log a Did Not Find on some) but otherwise did well in making a dent in the series. On the way back to Sydney in the evening, we made pit stops in Penrose and Pheasants Nest.
A fun and successful weekend caching with great company. Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners.

After a road trip down from Sydney with Brewmaker and JordsAU this was the second day of caching on bikes, we were joined by AlphaDeltaIndigo who we collected from the bus depot last night.
After a challenging ride yesterday we focused on the much flatter Majura Cycleway series and other nearby hides.
It's great to see such amazing facilities for cyclists, enabling them to commute and cache in safety!
A great day and some great hides. Plenty of kangaroos spotted again today.

Out for a ride on some of Canberra’s fab cycle trails and hunting a few caches. Now it’s back to the NNF for some great music and INFINITE Song Contest based on David Bowie this year. TFTC
This one took a bit of hunting around, and as I was, Captain Kilowatt asked me if I had found it!
I had a chat and I said I'd come here previously, but didn't want to get him too suspcious, he said that first time he had seen someone, he was, but after that, he was OK. He did say he had trouble finding #08 though!
Cache eventually spied, signed and I was off for number 40. TFTC TH!

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
This morning we left Goulburn heading for Queanbeyan where we will stay for the next week, using it as a base for caching in the ACT and the Queanbeyan areas. Our first focus today were the caches along the Federal Highway we had missed when we came into Canberra earlier in the year on our way home from Brisbane. We had found most of the caches on the inbound (to Canberra) side of the highway and our intention was to look for caches on the outbound side of the highway and any new ones that had been published since our last visit. The second focus for the day was to be the Majura Cycleway area.
Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find of a bright coloured cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks toy hunters for the cache and others you have placed along the cycleway.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 158 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 89.7. Progress is being made but there is still a long way before we achieve our goal.*****

Set out to do some of the geocaches along the Majura Cycleway today on foot and hoping the weather will be kind. A quick and easy find and we were off down the track looking for the next one. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Replaced the logbook today. Also swapped for a cleaner mint tin. Happy caching!
Have had the Cycleway on my to do list for a while and today saw myself, dty73, Delta Response Team, Shadowstorm1 and AddictedGamer on bikes and scooters for the afternoon. A great series of caches, a variety of cache containers and hides, and the nice easy downhill terrain had the scooter I was on sailing along easily with out too much effort!
Logs full and needs replacing but dty73 squeezed our names in, could have brought along some marshmallows for the bon fire that was happening opposite! Thanks for the cache toy hunters and for contributing to a great series.

Found as we cache our way around the ACT for a few days with Geoturtle37 and Pinkpiggy7. This one was a quick and easy find and we were soon on our way again. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
This was a busy roadtrip - driving from Melbourne, picking up CT_ZA in Sydney, and then spending a few days at the Gold Coast. 4500km covered in a week with much sightseeing and a 'little' caching .
After the first night's rest near Bookham and doing part of a powertrail I headed towards Canberra. Time to stop for some caching into the night here again... At this rate it'll take me a month to reach Sydney .
Time to park the car and start walking this cycleway.
No muggles around, so an easy one to pick up.
Thanks, toy hunters.

With the hope of surpassing 1,000 finds this week, the Majura Cycleway Powertrial was just what we needed. Took the trial by bike, and after an early start at 0900, we were back in time for lunch. With only one DNF it was a rather successful morning.
Our thanks goes to all the cache owners, and apologies for the generic logs - it does not detract from the fun we had. Hopefully we'll add our own mark to this trial some day...

Today was a mission with team "Capital Crunchers" (ACTchil, 4as1 [The S's, ScruffyBloke, Me_to), KittyKatch, Joolay & Mtrax) to help me reach 2,000th cache finds and get the multi as a bonus. Generic log warning.
Decided that I hadn't done enough caching lately so went for a bit of a powertrail walk to collect some along the way.
Accompanied by the sound of guns and pistols I walked until my time was up and then headed back. This meant that I could have a second go at a couple DNFed on the way down, which worked a treat.
The interesting part was getting back to my car to find the back open. It appears that I must have accidentally hit the open button on my way back past the car after the first cache. Thankfully everything was still there but did give me a start.
Thanks for the cache toy hunters and the no

Back to complete the Cycleway series after work today. We parked at the gates to Majura Pines again (a lot more cars there today!) and did a bit of detour to grab some nearby caches. Once sufficiently covered in mud, we made our way up to #1 and slowly back down to the car. Most of the caches were found in the dark with a torch, but surprisingly we had no troubles with any of them!

I came to Canberra for an overnight raid in order to boost my numbers before heading to a Mega in Estonia later in the year. I'm hoping to make that Mega my 3000th find but am a bit behind the curve at the moment. However, I am quite vocally opposed to the idea of power trails, which makes a pure numbers run a bit of a moral conundrum for me. Browsing the Canberra map, I happened upon this series, which is a bit like the Lake Illawarra Power Trail, in that it is hidden by many finders in many different ways. So to my mind it isn't really a pure numbers power trail, more a long series. Good enough for me. Besides, I've never done proper cycle-caching before - I've cached on rollerblades and kayaks - so this was a good opportunity to get the old 18-speed out of the shed, where it's been collecting dust for years. By the time I got to Canberra, got fuelled and fooded and parked and on my bike, it was 2pm. But I still managed to find all the published ones in this series except the last tricky one, and a few others along the way, and a few more after dinner. All up a pretty good day.
As for this specific cache: It didn't exactly match the hint, but was a pretty quick find anyway. TFTC!

I parked near number 10 of this series and jumped on my bike to collect the caches towards number 1, then a nice quick cycle back to 10. I continued down to 14 collecting caches, but as my battery was getting low, I then returned to the car. 2 DNFs (number 8 and number 2). This one was a quick find. TFTC.

Came along the Majura Parkway on an early morning visit to fill in some gaps in this excellent series. It was cool but still and the thick fog provided comforting cover while looking for some of the hides. No 9 was found at 0710 this morning without any hassles as a drive by!!

Found on a weekend caching blitz to the ACT with Hoojar and The Rats. We came, we saw, we biked, we walked, we had plenty of fun along the way .
Saturday was our monster day basically tackling the long snake of caches between Majura and Hall. A generic log like the others have used but that does not take away from the great CCT and other cache placements. TFTC!

After a few weeks of planning, and a number of attempts to align calendars, this weekend I came down to Canberra and the ACT area for a big weekend of caching with The Rats and steeba. On bikes, on foot, and in the car, we targeted a number of series and Power Trails placed since our last trip down here. The weather was perfect, the company exemplary, and the numbers achieved exceeded my expectations. It was a very long and tiring weekend, but of course it was also extremely satisfying!
Saturday was a big day. A very big day. Probably classified as a huge day! A massive amount of terrain was covered via various means. We went through suburbia, we rode along trails, we pounded the pavement. We found caches in several series, mostly along the Canberra Centenary Trail and it's surrounds. What a buzz! I really enjoyed the varying terrain, a few hills, some lovely wooded sections, and some amazing views. There is nothing quite as satisfying as going to bed knowing that you are thoroughly exhausted, and really earned your sleep!
Thanks to the all of the cache owners for placing their caches. Sorry for the mainly generic logs.

[Teal]Came down to Canberra for a weekends caching with Hoojar and steeba. Taking advantage of the perfect weather conditions we had two great days riding our bikes around some of the newer powertrails that dot the city and suburbs.
Super Saturday had us racing around town from first light till the last rays of the day. We did different trails, different types of caches different types of hides, we used different forms of transport but most of had a great day.
Thanks to the various CO’s for placing these caches. My apologies for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the fun we had finding them.
