Found this cache this morning, went to log it tonight and it had disappeared off the map. After trying a few different things I found out it was archived today. What are the chances?!
It was a good cache, shame it’s been archived.

A nice drive on some back country roads, now THAT was hidden somewhere I was not expecting it to be. Nice to see that sort of container.

Hill End and Mudgee weekend April 2018. I set out late on Thursday after a small car battery issue. I only stopped once before a night at Bummeroo ford. Friday took me to Orange via many spread out caches between Oberon and Bathurst. I spent the night at Macquarie woods. Saturday started foggy and then warmed up. I was heading to Hill end, and did make it, but I had to give up on the Bridle track due to a rockfall. Late in the evening I did find a spot along the Turon river and the very bumpy northern section of the Bridle trail. Sunday had me finishing the TRLT trail from Mudgee to Gulgong and a few missed ones in the middle of nowhere. The last day was a simple drive home from Sofala. A great weekend !

After the rough morning start on the Bridle Track it was a relief to get to normal roads, even dirt ones. The rest of the day was spent dealing with more TRLT caches with a few extras thrown in to fill in the day.

Thanks.

Really enjoyed this one. The bridge had water ontop from the recent morning rain. We tip toed on the edge over to the caches hiding spot. Pocked around but after a few mins i spotted it. Good hide in a nice place. After signing away i realised a easier way to have walked in. Typical lol

after looking extremely silly hugging the barrier to cross the bridge due to the water on the bridge I decided to stand back and point out the general area a cache might be hiding to CTH, I was in thongs after all and she had sneakers on...I think.
anyway she soon found the cache and had signed the log, I was glad I had waited to go back to my care till another one went past as it charged through the water and I would have been covered in attractive muddy water if any closer to the road. CTH found a much easier way out than into GZ zone which is normal for both of us. great size container. tftc

14152. Found during a run through the Bathurst to Mudgee region this long weekend.

Having completed the southern part of TRLT series last month I had the northern part of the series on my radar for this long weekend - plus as many extras as there are along the way. Leaving home this morning I was caching before lunch on the outskirts of Bathurst heading north. All but two of today's caches were found and all were nicely hidden with good sized containers. This was the next find for the day. Getting dark now so out came the torch. Quick find at GZ . Log signed, cache replaced, and I headed off to the next one.

Thanks to all the COs for their caches - it was a great run up through this area.

### Trip to the bush ###

Day 1
We started our trip in Rouse Hill towards the bush region of New South Wales.
Our first stop was in Springwood where we took a little bush walk and found this letterbox in the middle of the bush. We then visited the geological sandstone attraction and informed ourselves about the geological features of this region.
We then continued our trip towards Katoomba where we enjoyed the breathtaking view over the Blue Mountains at Echo Points. We took a little walk and reached the 3 sisters form the originally 7 sisters. Now it was starting to get dark and we continued on to the town to look for a couple of more caches before finishing off the day.
Day 2
At early morning, we relaxed once more for a little while longer at Eco Point before we continued our trip towards Blackheath and Mount Victoria.
We had a little break at Lake Lyell where we visited the dam and had some snacks.
We then continued towards Ryell and high up to Mount Lambie where we were lucky to spot many animals again.
We left the main road just before Bathurst towards the quiet countryside past Peel, Wattle Flat and the historical Sofala. We had a coffee break at Sofala where we drove around the old historic town.
We then continued our drive on Hill End Road and we socked in the beautiful nature. We were lucky to see many animals on the way.
We were welcomed by many roos at Hill End.
We left Hill End and drove towards Hargreaves towards our night stop at Windeyer. We slept at Bushland Tourist Park once again in the beautiful train accommodation. We had dinner at the local pub where we had nice pasta.
Day 3
We had to first free the car from all the ice before we could start our trip towards Mudgee. It gets cold out there at night, around -1 degrees.
We drove towards the west to Wellington and Stuart Town, Mumbil, Dam Arthur and finished the day in Dubbo.
We were astonished by NSW untouched nature and beautiful wildlife.
Day 4
We started the day with a little trip outside of Dubbo’s bushalnds.
We then strolled around the city of Dubbo and visited the beautiful Botanic Graden of Dubbo. The Gardner’s put so much work into maintain this beautiful spot. Well done.
We started the trip home towards Sydney past Wellington, Mudgee and Portland.
We drove past the Mt Piper Power station and informed us about the tours.
We continued towards Sydney.
We hereby want to thank all owners for all the work you have done in maintaining the caches. You have showed us many beautiful and also many hidden spots which we wouldn’t have found without the caches.
Thank you

Arrived into Mudgee late last night & have set up camp in the showgrounds.
Todays journey was up to Gulgong following the TRLT & returning via Henry Lawson Way.
After lunch we continued South on the TRLT trail. We travelled through some great farming territory.
We found many great caches.

*FTF* 3.45pm We hadn't realised this cache hadn't been found untill we opened the log book.
This is the 1st to find pathtag we have gotten. It will take pride of place in my collection.
It was abit of a streach for hubby to reach it. Spotted the hint.
I'm giving it a favourite point.

Thanks for placing this cache yippio
