Logs
Brilliant hide however log basically disintegrated. Thanks for the find! Was cool to show the kids and explain what the ramp is for!
The river is up, and may be for some weeks. Many roads are impassable even with a 4WD.
Large maintenance run planned for when the river goes down. Some caches may have floated downstream, others innundated and some should be high and dry, just T5 at the moment.
We do not recommend any flooded caches be accessed by boat at this stage, or to attempt by 4WD. It would be good if the roads had a chance to dry out before getting chewed up with high clearance vehicles.

I remember the first time I encountered one of these caches, easy find today and never knew there were millions of turtles that want to exit the river at the same time...
Now the restrictions are eased, putting caches back on line.
Enjoy, and remember to sanitise regularly.

Out and about caching in the Echuca area and decided to tackle a couple of caches on the NSW side of the border. Finally reached GZ after making our down some interesting tracks. This one was a quick find as we have one like this ourselves. TFTC
A nice camo but unfortunately the majority of log has disintegrated so I couldnt write in the log. Needs maintenance.
Surrounded by floodwater - probably a T5 and as the river is not expected to peak for another week we will temporarily disable until safe.
Found at 2:30:00 PM. After attending the events and finding a few caches in town it was time to head out for a short tour of the back roads.
A nice drive with caches placed at some interesting places. An interesting structure and an excellent cache.
Thanks gregandjudi

We were amazed at the size of this irrigation channel and the gates that were holding back every drop of water from passing. It is good to see that the natural environment is being considered when building these constructions. Quick find, cache well placed ... TFTC
After a failure at one cache and success at another I drove along the bank to have a look at the new weir. The turtle run is quite wide and I am left to wonder if there might be a heavy traffic load at times.
Poking around the weir and turtle run I was thinking to myself that it would make a good area for a cache, especially considering the two new ones in the near area. A careful eye spotted something vaguely familiar and I thought to myself it would be worth having a closer look. A blank log sheet was attached but the cache had not yet been published.
Very happy with myself I headed back to the cache near the bridge. The extra height of the bridge was enough for phone signal and my phone beeped with a clue to help with my search. Also attached was a comment that I should have a look at the turtle run. Too late...been there, done that. But, the suggestion was very much appreciated
Thank you gregandjudi. Although I scored a DNF at one cache I did score FTF's at two of the new caches in the Perricoota Forest.
