Thanks Wesso family for a great birthday bash event. So many goodies (thanks for the sunnies) AND food. But most of all an opportunity to get together and share experiences with other cachers. We are looking at a camper trailer to go caching with and maybe we will re think and not have a trailer as we had not thought of the many Uturns in search of the cache.

Appologies for the late logging...!

What a cracker of an event! It was great to catch up with the old and new. And what do you know, I won myself a prize!! Will have to think of a new and inventive way to get it out on the playing field. This is the first event (and cache) of my new car. The Geo:Forester!!

The Sunshine Coast is generally just outside of my usual range due to being so far away, but I always enjoy the geocaches and events I come to up here. And this event lived right up to my expectations of this part of the world.

I was initially persuaded to come along when Wesso family invited **[AllThingsGeo](http://stores.ebay.com.au/allthingsgeo)** to be a sponsor and hold a store on site. And we donated a number of prizes to the already sizeable pool. The appreciation showed by the host towards AllThingsGeo's presencce was outstanding and encouraging for next time.

Despite the lengthy drive, I was first to arrive after traveling through a few patches of rain. Setup was completed and the crowd started appearing. And what a massive turnout! One of the bigger events I've been to in recent times! Indeed, excluding all the Mega efforts, this is currently the 20th most attended event ever in Queensland!

Otherwise, I had a brilliant time here. I arrived early, left a bit late and spent a lot of time chatting to mates I rarely see. The prize draw was astounding - it was evident the CO has put hours of work into the event. I was lucky enough to score a mad new pair of sunnies - my first ever.

Happy Birthday Mr. Wesso and congratulations on a spectacular event. Same time next year?

This was one of my best geocaching days ever! I saw the event and thought okay three hours one way by public transport, that's not possible for me but let's ask someone if someone can give me a lift. Thankfully RoddyC could take me to the event. The event was great because I won the FTF including a big basket a cleaning material. Such a special day for me! It was also special because it was Martin majors birthday who is the reason why I started geocaching. I couldn't celebrate with him because he is still back home in Germany. Thank you so much for this special day because without the event I wouldn't have such a great day.

Having met up with some friends from the NPG early this morning to tackle a few tree caches, we all then proceeded to this event.

Great food ( extra thanks for my very well done sausages ), great company and even a bottle of wine won in the lucky draw. Thanks for a really fun day out Wesso, so glad I decided to drive up for the day.

First I have to start off by saying, WOW, what an awesome event this was. This was the first Wesso event that I've had the chance to attend, and surely it held up to its reputation!

It was great having the chance to catch up with many of the local geocaches and even many coming up from Brisbane and even some international friends joined us for the day.

It was very kind of mother nature to allow us to have an event that was 'almost' rain free and also allowing the weather to be cool... Which in all honesty, is the best geocaching weather!

Now, the Wesso Family puts on one great event. Not only was there a delicious barbecue and drinks provided, but also an abundance of prizes... I think nearly every person got a prize on the day.

Thank you so much for putting this event together Wesso Family, it really was a day enjoyed by all. I can't wait for the next event!!!

Attended with Baby Plankton on his 4 month birthday.

This Wesso Event was awesome! Plenty of Food, Great Company, Some good Sponsors, Just about everyone won a prize.. and the weather held out for us!

I must admit that I was only planning on going for an hour or so.. didn't know how Baby Plankton would go and/or the weather. However I had so much fun, I was one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave!

Didn't see much of Baby Plankton for the event- he was busy being passed from person to person.

This was my first Wesso Family Event. The event they held 2 years prior I was recovering from the biggest day of my life- My wedding!

I hadn't realised that the nearby geocachers were 2 caches i DNF'd a while back so it was fun to be able to stick the nano baby in his carrier to go find the caches. Glad I found them this time!

Long time after the fact to log....but I'm doing it.
This was a last minute attendance. We woke up late and I wasn't in the mood to stay at home so I told the kids to get ready and we headed out to meet with a few other cachers that were catching a couple of local caches around town. As it turns out I only had my name added to one (my lovely boys didn't think to write my name in one of the others that was found).
It was so lovely to come out and catch up with some of the caching crowd again, and the added bonus of a couple of prizes was a bonus.

What a beautiful Birthday Bash this was in quite an amazing park. There was so much room for us to spread out and some wonderful geocachers had brought gazebos to add to the shelter that was already there. We had both sun and showers and one big heavy downpour of rain today so the shelters were very appreciated by all who attended. Wesso Family did an amazing job of organization for this event with a huge number of prizes too. We enjoyed it very much and appreciated your efforts and enjoyed the company of many familiar, but not so often seen, faces and friends. Great to meet up with Off Roaders here. A great day all round! Thank you Wesso Family for staging this event. The weather Gods were good in dropping the temperature a bit and withholding the rain whilst the event was in progress.

It was great to meet up with other cachers in the area and to be able to put faces to Cache Names.

Everyone was friendly, lunch was excellent and plenty of prizes to go around. I really enjoyed myself and will be looking forward to the next one.

We decided to make a weekend of it and camped at Dicky's Beach for a couple of nights. We bumped into Aussie Leahona in the Surf Club on Friday night and joined them for dinner, a great start to the weekend. There were lots of familiar faces at the event and some new ones too. Thanks Wesso for all the time and effort you put in to make it such a successful day. TFTC.

I was really looking forward to attending this event and catching up with everyone and the day didn't disappoint. We arrived and were greeted by Mr Wesso himself and given raffle and FTF tickets. Later on I was lucky enough to will a cache that had been donated by Thomas from All Thing Geo. It sure will come in handy. Thanks Thomas! The Wesso Family really went all out and had an amazing amount of prizes to give away. Great work guys! I caught up with many friends and met a few new cachers and always enjoy having a chat. The weather even held for most of the day! Thanks for hosting a great event Wesso Family.

I arrived at the event with my Nana and Pop (Crew 153) and I had fun playing in the playground with my new found friends Sophie and Sam.

When I saw Mr Wesso was holding this Event, I knew it would be plain rude not to attend.

I arrived relatively early and set up my gazebos. The weather wasn't too bad - a bit Melbournic today - but mostly sunny all up.

What a fantastic turnout of folks. I was so happy to see so many familiar faces. It was fantastic to catch up with friends. Mr Wesso and his family put on a splendid event - complete with generous amounts of sausages and prizes. I was happy to be "one of the lads" who got some sunnies

Tried for a early morning start today but lost almost 30 minutes trying to convince the apprentice Geo Dawg that he had to say at home and keep his sister company he was having none of this and steadfastly refused to budge a inch from his spot onm the front seat, With a little bit of shove and push he was removed from the vehicle muttering under his breath you'll never find them without me. Finally got under way heading to The Little Mountain Brithday Event

Saturday. Slow Puncture was out today at the 'Little Mountain Birthday Bash' event held by the Wesso Family.

What can we say? The Wessos had arranged for the weather to be cooler than the last two weeks and also for the rain which had been haging around in the morning to go away once the event started. Penny and Laura and Craig provided yet another wonderful event with great food and lots of prizes to be given away.

Nice to see that Nadine 89, who was drawn for the FTF cache - that was her first ever FTF

Well our Event is a bit under 3 weeks away and it's all coming together beautifully.
