3 drive bys waiting for aged nomads to move along , forth time they were getting in to go , soon after cache in hand
Found with PSGV1, killing time while we wait for a delivery to get our vehicle running again! TFTC
Mr Tardis searched for a while, then spotted the nicely hidden cache. Signed the log. Thanks for the cache echidna trek.
Away for the June Long Weekend with TheWhiteDogGang. We based ourselves at Orroroo and travelled far and wide over 4 days. We managed 1,500 kms during our travels. We managed to find some really old caches, one from 2001, and even managed to get all 9 terrain ratings. Not bad for 2 old farts with no coordination. The weather was dry if not cold on occasions.A good way to spend 4 days. This one took 2 goes over 2 days.TFTC
A LWE away caching w Team WaldronToured the mid north and surroundsSome great caches foundFixed a few as well2nd visit here n success todayTFTC
The best thing about going on the occasional work field trip is that you can do some caching when you finish early. Off I went to do a few around Orroroo. A beaut little town and lots of caches to do! This one was found quite quickly thanks to the clue. TNLN. Cheers.
We are ion South Australia for the leap Year Mega. After an early start from our overnight accommodation, we set off to find the caches on our target list. All caches were found and signed as "5 for QLD" for our traveling group of hatzofff (myself), RoddyC, Imbunda, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947.Today we target some geo art and other caches. Loving the area, but it is very hot and quite windy today.
An early morning start after our overnight stay. I am traveling with my friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. We are signing all logs as "5 for QLD" to save space. All caches were found, signed and replaced as foundAfter some early caches and an event we headed off to some special geoart and an overnight stay before heading back to Adelaide for the start of the Mega. Today has been one of the hottest and windiest we have had so far. [:(!] Here's hoping Adelaide will be a bit cooler tomorrow.
TFTC smile 18735 Out and about on a lovely day Having a great time finding a few caches heading to Adelaide for a few weeks then on our way to Canberra . Signing as 5 for QLD - Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda. What a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun. Lots of caches to get today, and it was hot and windy at the geo art Thank you echidna trek for placing this cache for our enjoyment [:X]
A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group has our second day in South AustraliaWe are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this day were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 27th February 2024. TFTC, echidna trek.
Heaps creative and fun cache! Thank you so much took me longer than it should have.
A quick find while driving through this quaint town. Loved the statues.SL TFTC
Second day of the dynamic duos venture north. Left Orroroo and headed up to Hawker for a nice and relaxing day as time was not going to be a problem. Didn't have a lot of caches on the must do list so ended up looking for, and finding, any cache close enough to the road we were traveling north on. Still got to Hawker in time for a couple of shortish walks which enabled us to clear the immediate area of any unfound caches. And of course, the main aim of the trip, the A Taste of Hawker's Heritage AdLab. All up, completed an Earthcache as well, and found twenty physical caches and this was one of them.
Thanks to echidna trek for placing this cache on our playing field.

Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Today, we are caching along the road from Hawker to Peterborough. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders Ranges. Now travelling through to Peterborough picking up finds along the route. Took longer than it should have. Good hide.
Full time Nomads since March 2014.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash.
Staying in Orroroo for a few days. After lunch we ducked out in light drizzle to try and add to our smilies in Orroroo.

On our travels and thought We would grab a couple of caches such a lovely welcome to the town, a nice quick find, thanks for placing this cache
Although it was a quick find my knees won't let me say it was easy. After driving past these sculptures so many times and taking no noticing them, getting up close and personal with them makes me realise what clever works of art they are, so tftc.
A great choice of an interesting hide. Not 1D or 1T though; especially 1T. A handicapped person in a wheelchair could not reach this. It would be considerate to at least up the terrain rating. TFTC echidna trek.
All good things come to an end.. And so did our month long road trip through SA and the NT. We found this one while on our long way home from the Flinders to Melbourne. This one was tricky.. We looked for quite a while and were about to give up when Mrs Emu spotted it out of the corner of her eye. TFTC
That was good fun. Wasn't to hard but did suspect it to in a roo. My family and I found it.
Alice Springs to Adelaide Roadtrip
Day Five: Woomera to Morgan
The weather remains way cooler than around the red centre, much more conducive to travelling and geocaching. Morgan might seem like a strange choice for the last night, but I have my reasons!
I quite like Orroroo as a stop between Port Augusta and Adelaide and prefer this route to Highway 1 unless I’m pressed for time. This was one of four caches here.
Thanks echidna trek.

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 5: Exploring some mid north towns.
We could see where it was but needed a tool to get it out. I'm liking the way these entrance sculptures are all the same but different!
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks echidna trek for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

TFTC. Found after a little crawling around trying to avoid muggle views. On our way home from a month in the Flinders.
It is nice that every Kanga sculpture in Orroroo has a cache. Kangaroo rhymes with Orroroo. I thought I would be hunting for ages but I found this little chap before muggle husband had decided that I needed help.
A great day out after another covid lockdown.
We left our residence just after 0800 hours with a nice sunny looking day and took a scenic drive around the Flinders Ranges, heading from Port Augusta to Quorn, then north to Hawker, and south to Jamestown returning home around 2200 hours in the middle of a good rain downpour
Thank You for bringing us to these Caches and to see more again soon

Finally able to start my 2021 trip to Qld
Woke up Saturday morning and decided the safest way to Qld was through SA and up the Birdsville track.
A couple of friendly kangaroos to great you as you either leave town or arrive depending on which way you are going.
A sneaky one but I soon had the cache in hand
Thanks echidna trek TFTC

Holiday time, a week in the Flinders Rangers with sir_spectre and Jacknor. We had lots of fun, walk and of course found some caches. Today we packed up the camper and started to head for home early, strangely it took 13 hours to get home... Today we did lots of cache maintenance replacing cache containers and adding logbooks.
