Sadly, it looks like this has gone the way of the dodo, and needs to be archived.
Hi there Albany Canucks.
This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Hi there Albany Canucks,
RE: Your cache **"Stepping Down (Turbine 10 Beach)"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache seems to be missing. It really needs some owner TLC.
The hint is really specific, but there was nothing to find at that spot.
Regards
Ian & Penny

After finding cathedral cliffs I decided not to hike back up the main stair but continue walking to this cache along the coast. Turned out would be much easier along the path at the top as the going was quite tough and slow along the coast. Made it to GZ but the cache is certainly gone. Eventually found the start of the track (it really is within 10m of the cache for others that follow. Once at the top there were a bunch of paragliders lazily soaring along. Anyway, thanks for the harder than expected walk.
Found while Walking Bibbulmun track from Kalamunda to Albany. Many thanks for the cache. I hate stairs
After climbing back up all those stairs at the Sand Patch, drove through to the majestic Turbine 10. Never ceases to amaze how large these turbines are. Walked down to the lookout and then to the track down the hill. Must say, that it pays to read instructions and take note of waypoints more carefully. Found the cache in good shape. TFTC and another great location on our beautiful south coast.
I had been putting this one off for too long so was pleased to be able to do it in Mistraluna's company when she visited Albany. What a treat it was, especially seeing I've gone along this section of the Bibb quite a few times and had always walked straight past the hidden entrance. It was a treat to go down to the beach and enjoy the view on the way. On the way up spotted a couple of orchids (shell and greenhood) so that was good too.
Thanks Canucks, I really loved this cache
Thanks Canucks, I really loved this cache
WOW!! What an amazing place to put a cache. Enjoyed the isolation and the rugged coastline just begging to be explored. The ascent took a tad longer than the descent, but I got there no problems. The calf muscles were a wee bit sore the next day, but the thigh muscles really complained after the second day. Ouchy! Anyway, was a grand adventure, and I found the cache and claimed my smiley. Thanks Albany Canucks
Finding a couple of caches while spending the holiday in Albany.
Loved this place, also spotted a pod of dolphins enjoying the waves. Fave point from us.

Rode the bike to turbine ten but had to walk from there. Thanks for the detailed instructions of how to get to the beach. They were very helpful.
Out taking advantage of the overcast weather and getting a few caches the small steps were a bit tricky with a size 10 boot but manage to negotiate them awesome little spot. TFTC
Another great spot on our coastline. The workmanship in the stairs is a treasure making the walk back up quite easy compared with Jimmy Newel's. Thanks for bringing us to another gem. Saw dolphins having a good old surf as we ascended the stairs.
An easy find. Getting down to GZ was ok, but the calf muscles got a good work out on the way up again. The sign marking beach entry is fading already and I suspect it won't be long and its faded off.
But the beach was looking great and the location is superb. TFTC

Another great location we wouldn't have known about if not for geocaching! Found track easily and also cache at gz! Great cache! Tfth! Took trackable
Was excited to try get another FTF, so set off quickly and got to the parking spot, set off down the path and almost jumped off the path as I stood right next to a 1 - 1.5m snake, but walked past and got down to the GZ. Was a great spot but is a fair hike, thanks for showing us this great spot
After checking my emails this morning ajjnr86 and I were off to find this cache and hopefully grab another FTF. Started well with a close call with a dreaded snake, definitely a tricky hike but so worth it! Such a beautiful untouched spot which highlights how rugged our coastline is. After finding, signing and returning I noticed a beautiful little crab which I was happier to spot. Couldn't not share a picture of the little guy. Thanks for the cache yet again!
