This was an awesome location, and as others previously mentioned, this location deserves an EarthCache here! We spent some time searching here and making a circuit around the large boulders, but once I followed the GPSr, I spotted the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Amity Earth for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, I joined [Brissy Cat](https://coord.info/PR5XF6H) with the planned assault on the *Come solve a jigsaw or two* series in Windaroo and Bannockburn.I had low geocaching expectations given today's forecast of rain and showers, so after catching a weather break and walking up Mt Warren (I'm not sure why I hadn't prioritised this aptly named area before), [Brissy Cat](https://coord.info/PR5XF6H) and I then proceeded to find the jigsaw puzzles series. After tackling the eastern caches from the series, we headed south to/past Cedar Creek, walking in Plunkett Conservation Park and Wickam Timber Reserve, and grabbed a few of the adventurous challenges along Quinzeh Creek Road. Refuge was taken with a well-timed lunch break as heavy rain fell, and we then completed the series' remainder as the light rain settled for the afternoon. With a few hours spare before we both needed to return to life's commitments, we decided to drive east to Redland Bay, motivated by a newly published geocache, but also providing a few more geocaches to find whilst staying dry in the car.
GCLOGAN Day 8Out with TBU1BIKESU on a sunny day to get more smiles. Found the cache and signed the log .Thanks for the cache . Amity Earth
It's Day 8 of the GCLOGAN events. We left our camping area to search for some more caches South, before than turning direction to go via Daisy Hill Koala centre North. We found many, but not all which we tackled, but that happens.Tftc Amity Earth
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Amity Earth [^]
Before the GCLogan event, I found a few caches in this area. Im needing a few more D2/T2 caches for a challenge so this one was on my list. It was a pleasant walk and gz is a lovely spot. After circling the rocks, I honed into one area and soon spotted a familiar object. Logbook signed and replaced as found. I added a new logsheet as the other one was full. Tftc
Really cool find definitely not something that will catch your eye or stand out, interesting rock formations here definitely will come back to this spot
These are some pretty neat looking rocks. Really curious to know what made them.
What a great place, and never would have visited if not for this cache. Coordinates were spot on for me and soon spotted a likely suspect. A nice quick find and with business done I was on my way. TFTC Amity Earth.
Heading off to an event down logan village way this morning and decided to pick up Triple Turmoil on the way. We had hatched a plan to grab a few caches before the event as it had an unusual start time. She was given the navigation duties, which is always scary but I cannot do both when in a hurry.
With the event over and a few surprises to collect we were off again on our travels. Triple turmoil does not do “random” very well so it is always fun to change it up and throw in a butterfly to the plan. We saw this one when passing and although it was not on the list we decided to stop. OMGoodness this was just the best cache area, we both commented on how is this not an earth cache. Thanks so much for bringing us here and a favourite point for this one.
All good with this cache, We signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Then we were off, on our way to the next. Thanks for placing this one here.

Chamad and I were off to an event nearby later in the morning. We are both early morning people, so the night before we hatched a plan to get a heap of caches on the way to the event. This one wasn't even on the radar. We did pass it and decided we couldn't be bothered with the walk for a cache that didn't seem to be all that amazing. A trad, in the bush. We had a time limit. However, driving past again because we had missed something earlier we were determined to finish, Chamad made the motivating decision to just knock it over while we
were in the area.
Wow. This place is a wow!!!!!! I can't believe there is not an EC here. Thank you so much for bringing me here. Nature is amazingly clever and artiistic.

Had caching business in the general area, this was a perfect addition to my travels.
Warm but luckily there were cloud cover blocking the sun.
Arrived at GZ and soon made the find.
Find number 28745 for me.
Thank you Amity Earth for hiding this geocache.

Finished work thought I’d go and get a cache or few. Tricky took 10mins maybe but worth it. TFTC
Second last stop on my way home after a morning jaunt around Yarabilba today.
I actually thought it was going to be deeper into the bush but happy for the short walk after a busy morning. Wow, isn't this area amazing. I ended up getting side tracked and started climbing up on the sandstone formations and checking out all of them before searching for the cache. It's amazing how many small rocks are stuck in the sandstone. Even the ones that look like they could fall out with one touch are in there super tight. It makes you wonder how big these actually were before they erroded away to this point. Now I know why the track changed to sandy and rocky from the hard packed stuff at the start.
Once I finished looking around I soon spotted the clever hide. Should be pretty safe there.

Out caching today with RoddyC, Hatzoff and grannysmith1947 to get a few Smilies. A little walk but it wasn't to steep. What a fantastic GZ, how nature makes some very picturesque scenes. Looked around but went back to the first place we looked and found a well camoed cache. Log signed and cache replaced as found and a few photos to remind us of this beautiful spot. TFTC

Cool rocks here. I did a lap then focussed in on one spot and noticed something suspicious. I'd call this a micro rather than a small. Thanks for the cache
Found while out for a mother day walk with the hubby and kids.
The 15 year old boy that didn’t want to come was actually the one to find it.

With so many DNF’s I didn’t trust myself walking in to this cache… after walking around GZ it was a comment by Ms Maddy about trusting the GPS that had me return to a particular spot and soon thereafter had the cache in hand…
Tftc… dropping a fave point here for the location…

Hidden well, read comments before arrival so I was aware it may have been difficult to find...
Still in good condition, signed and put back
This place would be ideal to watch the sunrise for reals!

I absolutely love it here, was only here a few weeks ago and never would have known the cache was here, haven’t used GC for a year. Decided to have a weekend exploring and was so happy to find this close to home.
Thanks to a previous Earthcache by RoddyC we have a new found appreciation of rock formations, these certainly add to that, very interesting formations. Only thing that spoilt it was two trail bike riders tearing down the trail . Thanks for bringing us to this location.
Our long weekend of caching up around Bundaberg having been cut short due to rain, we arrived back in Brisbane in the very early hours of Sunday morning. We all took the rest of Sunday off to hose the roadtrip smell off us and our belongings, and with Jez back at work today, a slightly smaller team of seffnjarah, Swellerfungus & I headed south to Tamborine to work our way through a hastily thrown together Seff-list.
The timber reserve is a lovely spot, and GZ itself is just crying out for an earthcache; the layers in the lego blocks are very impressive. I made a quick find here while Seff and Fungus were going a bit loco over the aforementioned layers; I eventually managed to peel them away from the rocks to head up the hill. TFTC.

Swellerfungus, JezNDez and I had headed north to Bundaberg for a long weekend of caching but a change in the weather up there had brought a premature end to that adventure. Today Swellerfungus, Dez and I were heading south to pick up some caches around the Mt Tamborine area.
After spending considerable time so far this weekend cooped up in the car, it was a pleasant change to be able to get out for a hike and stretch the legs. Having completed a significant number of earth caches I have developed an interest in strange and unusual rock formations and at GZ we were immediately impressed by the those surrounding us. While the others set about finding the cache I spent some time trying to interpret how the different layers must have been formed with their different textures and we had a group discussion once the logging was completed. Thanks for placing a cache in such an interesting spot.

Our planned caching long weekend was hampered by a rainy Sunday in our chosen playground (Gympie), so we headed home and made Sunday a designated rest day. To make up for it a hastily put together list was presented to the team by seffnjarah, and trusting blindly JeznDez and I agreed to to tag along.
I met up with seffnjarah early so that we would have the time to make the large detour necessary to pick up JeznDez. This allowed her a leisurely sleep in and time to do her nails and make-up before sauntering out to the car. It must be nice to have a valet service at your disposal! So after much delay we finally got under way and had a full day of caching between Mt Gravatt, Logan Village, Mt Tambourine and Beaudesert.
What an amazing geological wonder this place is. I absolutely marvelled at the layers in the rocks. Thanks for showing me this place - terrific and a favourite point. I have already told some friends that they must come and visit this park!

Very warm and dry spring day. When we read the clue it seemed like it might be 'one of those' types of caches they are ideally camoflauged, and it was. Great spot for a bushwalk. TFTC.
Monday mayhem for those of us lucky enough not to have to work Perfect weather for a ramble through the bush and pub lunch. Happy to ride shotgun today and do the navigation duties.
This had us stumped for a while and then I looked in a place we'd both previously searched and found the cache in a sneaky spot. Good coords here so trust your GPSr.
TFTC Amity Earth! A FAVE point for a simple hide in a spectacular location

Out collecting a few caches I had kept reserved for possible MTB fun. Seems it has taken a few years and still no MTB so given my CB for the day picked the location I had no choice but to follow.
I took the high ground on this cache and Miss Maddy the low. We won't discuss which was the right ground

In Plunkett for the annual Glossy Black Cockatoo count. Grabbing some caches as we go. Spectacular formation. Circled around and back and then spotted our find. TFTC.
Took a bit for us to find but Black Flag Angel came up with the find. TFTC, signed and returned.
Took ages to find but Black Flag Angel switched places with me and found it in seconds. TFTC
Sat down in the shade with mini geo kid for a rest while black flag 78 and 001 went hunting for this one. They looked high and low , over and under for quite a while. Eventually I got impatient waiting so went up to search for my self. Ta-da there it was right where I first looked. Beautiful shady spot and the rocks make a great background for photos. Tftc
This one took a while, I was in the right spot first up, but missed it. Come back for another look and read the hint and found it straight away. TFTC nice cache blends in well
I saw these new caches pop up close to home and thought that it would make a nice ride to go and fins them this afternoon.
The trails in here were quite nice to ride along and I managed to avoid most of the unridable stuff.
This one took longer than it should. It was in the first place I looked, but I was looking for something a bit bigger. Spotted it on the second lap.

We were wondering where to go today as it was a lot cooler and wetter than the last few days. Mr. Herbz noticed these new caches and so we decided to take the geomuts along as well. It was the perfect temperature for both them and us! We headed off along the trail, the muts were in high spirits with Paul bouncing all over the place in his excitement. It wasn't long before the Lego blocks came into view, we certainly weren't expecting to see these. Mrs. Herbz headed to where she thought GZ would be whilst Mr. Herbz followed the GPSr elsewhere. Neither one was successful in their search. After widening the search area for a while Mr. Herbz GPSr finally settled and led him back to where Mrs. Herbz first started. With a more thorough search he eventually came up with the find. TFTC.
