What a great walking track - I have walked in as much thyme as I can my shoes smell devine - TFTC
Turning blue to News years day 2016, dnfFortunately the year turned out better, and weve finally made it back to put a smile on the dial. Tftc
Last one of this pretty trail . Have a favourite point for showing us it.TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
I had a very pleasant afternoon stroll. Even had a swim in the cold river. This cache was found easily.
Thanks RowenaD for placing caches along here. Quickly found while on a bike ride up this track. Probably would not have discovered and enjoyed this place except for the caches being placed on this trail. So thanks heaps .
A quick find and I am pleased to stretch my legs after driving down from Christchurch today
I had planned for today to try to locate and sign off the rest of Cromwell's caches.
Then it was off across the road, under the bridge, and heading towards Queenstown. This track is a bit different from the Cromwell-Clyde one.
I had often seen this series on my trips to Cromwell and today is the day I delete them from my GPS. Success!
Cheers for the cache.

This was a beautiful place to walk this morning at sunrise. First cache hiding place spotted before getting there. Found with Flumsy2.
Thought it was about time to knock the Baxters Walk caches off. This was an easy find, cache all good tftc Rowena
On a previous trip up I had missed the parking and trailhead waypoints so spent the time picking up some fruits then. Today i'm organised (by KNCN) and off we went for the finds. Lizzies Walk.. well a run all over the place! Easy find with a combined navigation and hunting by the family. tftc
Thanks Baxter. My dog Sam loves the walk that we wouldn’t have found without you TFTC
The teenage wanted to attend the Cromwell races, so 4Clubs and I were more than happy to drive her up to Cromwell for the day whilst we did some caching. This was the first find of the day on a lovely walkway which was sheltered and warm (unlike the nearby race course!). Thanks for putting out these caches and giving us a reason to discover somewhere new.
In Cromwell for part of the day with dakotacats whilst the granddaughter is living it up at the Cromwell Races. We really enjoyed the four caches along this unknown walkway, thanks for bringing us here RowenaD.
Found with StreetWalker on day #4 of our extended Easter break. Today we are travelling from Clyde to Cromwell then onto the old gold fields of Logantown, then back to Clyde.
After a diet of drive by fruit, it was time for a walk. This was an interesting area to walk in. Would be lovely in summer with the roses flowering. I searched in the right place, but was several cms away from where SW found the nicely tucked away caches. TFTC,

#16958. Troodles got to GZ first, but missed the cache location. I spotted it soon after arriving. TFTC.
One of 20 located today en route to Cromwell, as well as in and around Cromwell, at the start of a week-long break in the Central Otago / Southland region.
Enjoyed this walk and the autumn colours alongside the river. Found this one reasonably quickly. #2369. TFTC.

#1226 - After a monster 48km hike yesterday for some unloved caches, today it was slow walk caching for some recovery. A great almost riverside walk, Baxter is one lucky dog.

Today we had our second day in Cromwell and again made a trip in and around the city, thus visiting many sightseeing highlights again. On this trip we searched, found and logged many caches, too. The weather was beautiful, sunny, very warm, no little bit cloudy, and only sometimes there was some wind.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had better things to do than observing two geocachers.
Thanks to RowenaD for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Baxters Walk No. 1. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

Away for a school holiday escape in Cromwell, caching along the way on a crisp winter morning. TFTC 1746
Greetings from Tauranga. Really enjoyed this interesting walk, just as much as Baxter! Easy find. Cache is all good. TFTC
So glad we discovered these caches because this area is paradise! We had a great MTB ride going after these caches. TFTC.
A nice walk for this set of 4 while up here to clean up Cromwell's caches before Xmas as I want to try to get to 2000 before 2018. TFTC
Mrs Guzzi needed to clock up some more steps on her fitbit to lead her group of friends for the week so we decided to go for an evening walk along Baxters trail. This first one was our favourite as it had a great little dwelling.
We biked along the narrow entrance track, then along the main track to this cache which was a surprisingly quick easy find. TFTC
Heading to Queenstown on a lovely sunny winters day so perfect for a little stroll along the Kawarau River on our way. Nice quick find and picked up TB. TFTC
If it's good enough for Baxter then it's good enough for old man jack who's doing great after his surgery. Onto the next one
Decided to walk the walk so left Ms KR in the car and I was off. Nice to have the walkway between the orchards too. A quick find when I stopped and looked and said to myself, "must be there" and it was. Cheeers.
Day two of our Easter holiday to Invercargill. Cromwell to Invercargill.
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Adventure Baby and I are very proud to have found all four and this time we bought our friend yabba for a doggy adventure too
This one we missed all together and had to back track... Just a little. Loved the walk.
Thanks for showing us a way to the river track that we didn't know. Started raining so will leave 2 3 and 4 for another day. Hope all the doggy no 2s along the track weren't Baxter's.
After searching under every possible rock, and in all the nooks and crannies, we were about to give up. One last look and aha! Had the cache in hand and another smiley.

This took longer than it should have and the 'one more look' gave us the smiling feeling. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Dropped off Twilight Wolf. Walked a huskie down here this morning ( along with 3 labs) which is the closest we will get to a wolf in New Zealand.
Thought it would be a great walk for our doggies. The entrance was a bit difficult to find.
Found the cache after having a slip again

We are taking a 3 week vacation from the UK to tour around New Zealand. Today we are driving from Twizel to Mount Cook to Tekapo then meandered our way back to Arrowtown.. Scenery was fantastic as ever. Stopped off at Cromwel to do the little Baxters Walk along the river. All the caches we attempted were nice and straight forward., thanks for setting them up and making our trip most enjoyable.

Sadly I couldn't find this one, hunted in increasing circles for this one crushing a finger ouch. hope to return to get this one later this year
The biking was easier from number 2 to here. This was a really neat hide, although it seemed unlike to start with. The rest of the track was rideable out to Pearsons Road where the walker had re-located the car to.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Found on a beautiful warm Christmas Day evening on a walk with Hellen and my dog Worcester who would have loved to have Baxter join him for a walk. Tftc
Good spot. Amazing how fast the river is filling its bed. Soon be growing fruit trees . Thanks
I did not know this walk existed and would still be unaware if you had not placed these caches here, so thanks heaps for that. Really enjoyed the stroll through the old gold workings. All four caches were quickly located using the hint.
Had to save this one for the way back. Searched at the start to no avail. Thankyou Mrs Wyld. Your eyes on our way saved a

On a amazing evening walk neer Cromwell we searched for this cache. We had no problems to find it. Thank you for showing this beautiful spot and for the nice cache!
After a long drive and a long day needed a nice walk before facing the long drive back to chch. Great wander along here near the river. Complete all 4 caches and really enjoyed the late afternoon sun.
Thanks for the new caches so close to home, have had lunch at Mt Difficulty today tftc
