This was the only one that took more finding and Viv took about 10 minutes here, scrambling about over the rocks. Unfortunately as previously mentioned, the box is broken and contents were falling out, so a nm will be added, to make the co aware.TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
A bit harder to find than the first one. The container is broken but the log is still dry.
Enjoyed the walk along here. Nice to be back on our South Island adventures again. What a stunning day. Tftc
Thanks RowenaD for placing caches along here. Quickly found while on a bike ride up this track. Probably would not have discovered and enjoyed this place except for the caches being placed on this trail. So thanks heaps .
An easier find than I expected after the previous DNF log. Container broken but dry.
A DNF for me here. An old pine tree has been cut down and the bits of the tree have been left over the pile of rocks. I was not up for clearing them off.
Our last find from Baxter. Why we didn’t find them in order, we have no idea but Thank you from Howard and Kath
That Baxter is one lucky dog. What a place to walk! Container is still broken but dry. Flumsy2 dropped her pen down between the rocks but managed to extract it before we moved on to the next one.
Second cache from four in this walk. Nice and easy! Too visible so I put it little bit more under rocks.
This was the 2nd of Baxters walk. Cache found surprisingly quickly. The base of the cache container is broken, still holding together and contents dry. placed back in hide tftc Rowena
A hunt for this one ... sending the kids in for the find. Not too long when they came up with the goods. The container needs replacing, sorry I didn't have one on hand. Contents all good and dry though tftc
I hate these searches at times but this one was short. Mainly as was exposed. Covered a bit better and rescued a tb.
Enjoyed the walk along here with dakotacats, saw some bunnies and loved the smell of the thyme. TFTC
Our second find on the walkway. Lovely house over the river. The river was very high, almost in flood in places but we were well above the water level. Dropped off a TB to continue its journey. TFTC
Found with StreetWalker on day #4 of our extended Easter break. Today we are travelling from Clyde to Cromwell then onto the old gold fields of Logantown, then back to Clyde.
I'm not keen on rock hopping, so after spotting the cache from a few metres away, SW retrieved it. TFTC.

#16959. Good teamwork here: Troodles did the spotting and I did the retrieving. TFTC.
One of 20 located today en route to Cromwell, as well as in and around Cromwell, at the start of a week-long break in the Central Otago / Southland region.
Enjoyed this walk and the autumn colours alongside the river. Took a brief moment to find this one. #2370. TFTC.

#1227 - Continuing the walk along the river with some great views on the other side.

Today we had our second day in Cromwell and again made a trip in and around the city, thus visiting many sightseeing highlights again. On this trip we searched, found and logged many caches, too. The weather was beautiful, sunny, very warm, no little bit cloudy, and only sometimes there was some wind.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had better things to do than observing two geocachers.
Thanks to RowenaD for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Baxters Walk No. 2. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Btw: this was our Cache #12.000 - what a pleasure! => FP
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

Left our Winston at home for this trip. He would have enjoyed this walk. Away for a school holiday escape in Cromwell, caching along the way on a crisp winter morning. TFTC 1747
Greetings from Tauranga. Delightful walk. Easy find thanks to the good clue! Cache is all good, but a little bit sparse, so we added a toy. TFTC
Found on our bikes. Great area. Thank you for bringing us to this wonderful spot.
A nice walk for this set of 4 while up here to clean up Cromwell's caches before Xmas as I want to try to get to 2000 before 2018. TFTC
Mrs Guzzi needed to clock up some more steps on her fitbit to lead her group of friends for the week so we decided to go for an evening walk along Baxters trail. Thankfully Mr Guzzi clambered over the rocks as Mrs Guzzi doesn't enjoy that kind of cache hide. The log book was a little damp.
We continued along the track to this cache, where the hint was somewhat of an understatement. After searching fruitlessly for a while, we applied the same logic used by others - where would we put it? It was then a fairly quick find. TFTC
Heading to Queenstown on a lovely sunny winters day so perfect for a little stroll along the Kawarau River on our way. Nice quick find. TFTC
Jack used to love chasing bunnies too, but being 15 now he's retired and just squeaks at them with excitement these days
Took a wee while to find in the pile of rocks, but really was not that hard. Just had to look in the right place. Cheers.
Day two of our Easter holiday to Invercargill. Cromwell to Invercargill.
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Enjoyable day out, left trackable, he really wanted to go to a multi but none here so thought it better that he get on his way
This one was a fun hide! My phone has shocking GPS so had to guess but enjoyed the hunt
An enjoyable detour while cycling from Queenstown to Cromwell.
Thank you RowenaD for this cache.

Arrived at GZ and was overwhelmed by all possible places it could be! However this did not deter us and we quickly had the cache in hand.

There are LOTS of hint objects so thought 'where would I put it?' and sure enough, that is where we found it. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Thought it would be a great walk for our doggies. The entrance was a bit difficult to find.
Found the cache after having a slip again.
The road was a bit boring, so we went to visit the river and then walked back.

We are taking a 3 week vacation from the UK to tour around New Zealand. Today we are driving from Twizel to Mount Cook to Tekapo then meandered our way back to Arrowtown.. Scenery was fantastic as ever. Stopped off at Cromwel to do the little Baxters Walk along the river. All the caches we attempted were nice and straight forward., thanks for setting them up and making our trip most enjoyable.

Found with Chosen. A quick find on a really hot day. Loved the location, TFTC
Getting here from number 3 was mainly biking, just walking the bike down one steep hill and up another one. The rocks here are rather substantial.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Found on a beautiful warm Christmas Day evening on a walk with Hellen and my dog Worcester who would have loved to have Baxter join him for a walk. Tftc
I did not know this walk existed and would still be unaware if you had not placed these caches here, so thanks heaps for that. Really enjoyed the stroll through the old gold workings. All four caches were quickly located using the hint.
Lovely way to finish the day with a stroll along the Riverside. Was sort of hoping to come across Baxter but no such luck
On a amazing evening walk neer Cromwell we searched for this cache. We had no problems to find it. Thank you for showing this beautiful spot and for the nice cache!
