Accio 14:59:23A lovely day out with T4mmmy, hunting Aussie-Liahona caches. Found quickly once I worked out what was different. Clever. Thanks for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12532}*
Find No: 9525. Visiting from Newcastle NSW, staying at my brother's in Nerang, loved this one, gets a favorite, thanks for the cache Nottinghamers adopted by Aussie Liahona!!
In town for the afternoon wedding of friends, and a great opportunity to hunt some geocaches with GeoFriend AdventurerKris. We spent a long time trying to find this to no avail. The hint really didnt help us. We read the logs and tried all options but no dice!
On the GC for a friends wedding with suz292. This was the last cache for the day but just couldn't find it.
A quick find but the retraction took a while. The log was a little bit wet and tore . Thanks
This one took me a while because I was on the wrong level. But soon enough cache in hand.
Thought this was going to be a dnf until something caught my eye as cache holder hadn't been put right in. Replaced properly after signing. Tftc
I was visiti nhg my aunty at the cove and we decided to come down and look for it. It was very easy for me because it was at the first place I looked!
I have discovered that my younger sister is amazing at finding geocaches. She found this one with ease, and was very pleased with her found. Great cache.
I liked the difficulty on this one, I think it was harder putting back in though hah
This was a hard one and took me a moment to spot what was out of place here tftc
De E1k suggested that we could go for some geocaches in the afternoon and of course I had no objections to that. I saw a series of caches in the area of Emerald Lakes where we could park the car and go for a nice walk. But first we ended up going for this cache. Could be a bit tricky, lots of good spots on different levels as well but we managed to find it in no time

I had a few errands to do around Bundall and then it was time to find some geocaches. What a sneaky little hide. No-one was fishing from the bridge today. Just a few muggles walking their

Headed out to do a long run and knowing it's blue switch day decided I'd better start at a geocache. Nice area, lovely views and a quick find. TFTC.
Out for a quick pedal on the new ebike. Parked at Bundall, pedaled around the AL at the botanic gardens and then a loop around back to the car. I set my sights too low at first. Reading the hint and relocating made it a much easier find.
Sneaky little hide. Almost dropped it.
Interesting to watch the tide run here. Good spot for a fish. Not sure what you would catch.

Found right after the previous nearby cache. Took me a little bit longer but was able to come up with a smiley

On inspection found that council have been at work so replacement is required, hopefully will do it in the next day or so.
TFTC- nice clever hide and managed to sign the log without the muggle fishermen seeing.
Sneaky hide....I missed it on 1st sweep, checking out what I thought was something else odd.....& had difficullty deciding which end....T4TC
There were some fishing folk down below who had a tent set up for shade while they fished.
A short search before I spotted something different.
TFTC Nottinghamers A lovely spot.

Looked on one side, then the other, and eventually found the sneaky cache. Good find!
Beautiful spot and tricky hide, thanks to a special hint from CO Nottinghamers, finally got it
It was last in our Mystery at the Museum hunt and specially left so, thanks again Nottinghamers for great hides all around the Gold Coast.
I'm taking photos on every area to create a time line, those places look very different in few years time. They are not spoilers, they are teasers, location of the catche is not revealed.
So, if you don't like to get an idea of surroundings, don't look my photos, no whingeing please

No luck this afternoon unlike the previous hide. High Muggle traffic didn't allow me to search as detailed as I would have liked. One for another afternoon perhaps.
Nice quick find with uksquirrel. She has a moon boot on so we are limited today. Luckily we were able to park close by and hobble up.
Day 73 Mainland trip
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers hunting down caches after extending our stay here in the area. We had a great day, checking out some lovely local areas and parklands. We found an assortment of hides and hidey holes. This one took a while. TFTC

Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one we found.
This took some time to find, cache and contents were in good conditionand adding to our favourites.
Thanks Nottinghamers for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Sneaky clever and nasty I too had to level up and down a couple of times until I narrowed my search!! A wonderful hide...
Found 4/11/18 at around 1:30am. Took me a while as I doubted my initial thoughts and moved to the other level. Still couldn't shake my initial thoughts though so eventually listened. The winning move on my part was exhaustion led me to sit on the ground for a bit, and whaddya know . . . There it is. TFTC
Nottighamets can make even a nano special. An exception to my no FPs for nanos principle. TftC.
Finally found this one! Had been before for about an hour, tonight I brought Ness, Madi and Mia. I made the found a few minutes after arriving! Thank you!
After months, and a search that has verged on the obsessive i gave this cach one more go and finally found ii! Good wat to get my 20th find!
I have given up looking for this cache. After months of searching i cant find it, combined with no evedent place it could be that i can see. More info to find this is needed.
Sighted a few anglers today before we located the cache
Spotted something not any where else close to gz
Removed it and we had the cache

Nice quick find of the spot, not many muggles for me today and do they really catch fish in that area. TFTC
Like some others, we started on the wrong level. Once on the right level it was a pretty quick find. I was super paranoid about dropping it though. Tftc!
Gold Coast Day 5
Today we headed toward Carrara to visit the markets stopping ata number of caches along the way.
A good variety of hides & caches found.
Hubby took the low road & I took the high road. Eventually we had a A Ha moment & there was the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache Nottinghamers

Another Nottinghamer cache for my little afternoon of cacheing. I had read some of the logs and knew that this may be slightly difficult to find but after a false start I too was in the right place. I was slightly worried that I may drop it and have to report a mishap to Nottinghamers which I have had to do in the long distant past when first discovering their many varied containers. Well hidden! Thank you.
Oh my lord.. If someone had told me this morning as I waited for coffee that I would be looking for a nano on a bridge in the darkness just after sunset, I may have ordered a stronger one and cached at a faster pace, but such things usually do not happen outside of hollywood films, so I am here looking for a nano on a bridge in the dark. Geocaching eh? No wonder our friends and family all think we are mad.
If someone had told me earlier that the nano I would be looking for on a bridge in the dark were hidden by Nottinghamers, I would have shirt fronted them and demanded details on the hide under threat of injury, but as established earlier in this log, I have about as much chance of that as possessing three pet dragons. Fingers crossed.
Luckily The area is well lit in the evening, and I have a not inconsiderable experience in the area of tricksy micro finding. I don't want to boast (hell no.. way too many DNFs due to stupidity and cache blindness) but I can, on occasion, make myself look good by blindly stumbling upon very well hidden geocaches.
What a relief!! Thanks for the fun Nottinghamers

I'm holidaying on the Gold Coast this week and given the greater density of caches here than at home, I figured a day spent chasing caches, with a local geo-buddy, to qualify for the Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge would be a fun thing to do.
And a fun day it was ... although it was also a long, tiring day that I'm very pleased is over! The best part is, though, that we managed to achieve what we set out to do ... get 25 finds with different DT ratings in a day, all of them within a ~5km radius of Ashmore.
A 2/1 cache was the last one on our to-do list and shouldn't have been a problem ... except that it was now dark and we were poorly equipped for night caching. We initially tried for 'Emerald Path' but it was just too dark to be able to spot a sneaky Nottinghamers' hide. Fearing that we could be there for hours, I looked to see what other 2/1 options were around ... and came up with this one just a couple of hundred metres away. So there we headed, and after figuring out on which level it was best to focus our search, we soon felt our way to what was the most important find of the day ... the one that meant we were done with this Challenge!
Thank you Nottinghamers for placing a cache here that matched our locality and DT needs and helped us achieve our goal for the day.

Thanks to Kronski75 for the note. I hope to have it active again in a day or so. Happy caching!
Very well hidden, thank you!
However I'm not sure the magnet is holding the nano cache strongly enough, it had come loose in its hiding spot so it was a tricky retrieval. It was safely hidden again.

We started on the wrong level to begin with but once all possibilities were exhausted, moved to the other level and made a quick find with joojoo57. Thanks Nottinghamers for the good hide and TFTC.
We though we knew where this was hidden - were we so wrong! After deciding to look at a different level we soon uncovered the clever hide. Thanks Nottinghamers!
After grabbing a couple of other caches along the trail we made this our last find for the afternoon, we initially searched in the wrong spot before changing tact and soon had the sneaky little cache in hand. Thanks Nottinghamers for yet another cunning hide.
After finding a park away from the road Happy pants and I went to this one and realised we were probably in the wrong location. We moved closer and still... weren't on the right level. Changed location again to find the well hidden cache after further investigation. Extracted log as the rain started to fall, signed and put back... yeah. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Because of some challenge caches back home. Today is called a onsie day which needed converting to at least a foursie day, so out into the rain I intrepidly ventured.
Thanks to a nudge from the CO while attending an event yesterday I had the search area narrowed down. It still took a while but I eventually discovered the sneaky hide. Just then the heavens began to open up so I ran back to the car to complete the paperwork and wait the passing shower out.
Thanks for another great cache.

This one took a while. I was with Elemental6 and he spotted this clever find. He found it in a place I had alrwady looked at! Cache and log in good condition.
Cheers

Great spot and cache gets a favourite point for being the smallest cache I've ever seen.
Hide was good too! At first I wondered how it would be possible to search surreptitiously, but it was soon clear. Took a while to find, we looked in all the wrong places.

Was here for FTF when this was published. I really made it very hard and thought so hard because it's Nottinghammers! Ha ha...
Thanks Al. Didn't mind coming back. There's campers this time and they are fishing too!

On my way to the Carrara Markets and decided to grab this one. I parked nearby and after a bit of a wander I was checking out the Angler's View.
Some kids were fishing but they didn't appear to be having too much luck. The cache was soon found and I enjoyed the view as I sat down to sign it.
Thanks for the cache Nottinghammers. Cheers!!

Came to search for this one on our way home from church today. I realized that this green box by Nottinghamer was still unfound by us. We spent a bit of time perusing some locations similar to ones Nottinghamers have used before and couldn't find anything. We hung over there, hung out there, climbed through here, looked backwards and forwards. I did a bit of weeding while thinking about where it could be. Finally we tried a PAF but only asked on which level we should be looking. Ah, ha. That helped. We then located the cache quickly in the second place I looked. Sneaky again Nottinghamer. Sneaky! Love your caches. Cheers, and Happy New Year!! [^][^] Visited some trackables for miles
