Log book was full so I put a new log book into the container and left the old one there.
Found while cycling around. Enjoying reading the history of the area. Thanks.
So I have bitten the bullet and started the infamous kept series. Wonder how long it will take me to complete.....Tftc
Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.
Our last day tootling around the countryside picking up some smilies after WAGB & Maker Magic events. Just had to tackle half a dozen town caches or so we thought. Seems a few more caches were published yesterday and we hadnt realised. [B)] So it was after 1pm before we finally hitched the caravan and headed for Perth.
We werent planning to attempt this cache but had to pull over to check the lights on the caravan and this was only 30metres away so Mrs F ducked over for just 1 more.

Find 41 of 61 on a super day in and around Northam. Started with a 30km bike ride looping out to Spencers Brook and back on the Kep, before the Maker Magic event and a nice luncheon. Then back out for a little loop ride around town and some impromptu FTF dashes before jumping in the car for some odd ones on the way home. Massive thanks to all the CO's but especially geotrakka and jasenjanine for placing and maintaining so many caches for our entertainment.
Back on the Kep for the final run into town. All good here.
TFTC jasenjanine!

Couple of days off work this week, so making the most of a wet day I headed out to some newly published caches near Northam, instead of doing the jobs I should have been doing.
Quick find. Dropped a TB that I picked up in Narrogin. Cheers jasenjanine!

Found while staying a few days in Northam. Enjoying the caches on a overcast day
Day 2 of WAGB22 week, and went to finish the GG Series in Northam and cleaned up the town of Northam, then cached to Toodyay and made a huge dent in that town.
Made 51 finds in total with 1 DNF today.
Thanks to all the CO’s for placing maintaining their hides.

A very small step on the track I hopefully will complete on day. A huge gecko protected the cache. It remains to safe guard the loot. TFTC
Quick find on the way out of Northam on a short work trip. Disturbed a little lizard who was just minding his own business. Thanks for the cache.
Finally my day to ride The Kep. 8:30am departure and 7 degrees! Woohoo. One down and how many to go?? TFTC.
Out and about finding smiley's with BJA3 on our Fathers Day pseudo weekend. TFTC jasenjanine!
I’ve decided to spend the night in Northam, not as far as I was hoping to get, but on the plus side I get to do a bit more of this trail. Thanks jasenjanine.
After overnighting in Northam, I got an early-ish start caching before heading to DOME for my morning coffee.
Quite ironic that the sign says ‘Waiting for rain’ and to look across at the fast floyAvon River.

After Mr dimor grabbed a few hours sleep yesterday after finishing work at 8.00am we headed off for a few days away so I could claim the new Science souvenirs, with plans to stay in Northam for two nights and then Bruce Rock for another two.
What I thought was a slow start to our geocaching morning became even slower when we drove through town and saw a sign that said the markets were on. Naturally caching could wait while we had a wander around, ran into Geotrakka there so stopped for a chat.
Must have been close to lunch time before we headed to the first cache.
Thankfully this one was a nice and easy park and grab

Out for a wheatbelt road trip after the COVID travel restrictions have been lifted. With WAGB20 being cancelled in the pandemic, an invite to join others to celebrate the long weekend was perfect.
First night was camping at Elachbutting Rock with Barnzy12 and Cravo10 where we hit some great finds, beautiful locations and had fun on the dirt tracks weaving our way whilst caching out to Kwolyin Rock for the second night where we met up with a nice crew of fellow geocachers to enjoy sitting around a large campfire sharing stories. I have lost count of the rocks Ive climbed - but my body says many
I then head off on my own caching along the way to Northam where I spent a couple more days hunting through beautiful Toodyay and York and surrounds.
A huge thank you to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. The places I have seen and the fun I have had are testament to why I love this game so much. Its been a big 5 days and I am pooped but I have loved every minute!

Hi there jasenjanine. I was out with Mistraluna for a couple of planned days of Geocaching around the FOTT trail near York. We had both worked out finals for all caches and using the Nuvi and both GPS's, all caches were found quickly - and the containers and logs are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to jasenjanine for this cache - our find 8317
Headed to Northam early this morning and spent a few hours pick up some more caches along The Kep.
TFTC jasenjanine this is find # 8497 for us.

Found on the ride back to Northam along the Kep Track. A few possible hiding spots here. Fortunately the grass has recently been cut so that helped narrow it down. Thanks for the cache.
Sad to say, but all good things must come to an end, or so they say!! Found this one early Monday morning after packing up camp and hitting the road for towards home, making a rather long day of it, stopping here, there and everywhere, hunting down smileys along the way. Hadn't planned on doing any more of this series, but seeing as how we were passing, we though "why not?" Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to come and find jasenjanine.
Quick find heading home from our girls weekend at WAGB Northam! Found with Geogypsys Tftc
Was out caching on my own today after the brunch and came out here to grab some caches in the area. Thanks for this cache jasenjanine which was a very quick and easy find. Have planned on doing the whole length with a couple of other cachers on mountain bikes.
Out with Chwiliwr doing some caches as we were not participating in the race today.
Cache found without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thanks jasenjanine for placing this cache for us to find.
(Catching up on some late logs for 2019 that we had missed doing online.)

We were in Northam for the weekend with BRF for WAGB19. Mrs BRF said she wanted to do some exercise in the afternoon so while many of the others at this event were out participating in the Great Race we decided to tackle some of these. this was a quick find to start the walk and we also grabbed the information for the multi which we were also doing.

Aaagh!! What a day!! It started out with technology problems and electrical problems, both of which took quite a while to sort out. So it was late morning before we set off into Northam to buy some necessary items to do a few repairs. It was also very hot today, being 43 degrees and the enthusiasm for caching and being out on the sun really was not there.
So we just put a token list together, with ilook4geo and settled for those caches.
This one was an easy find, log was signed and we departed rapidly.
Thank you to jasenjanine for placing this cache.

Not much caching happened today as it is too hot, so just did a few. Found what we looked for with goingplaces2 and both names were soon on the log before we retreated to the air con in the car. TFTC.
Rode the whole track yesterday, but didn't have time to stop for caches. Came out early this morning to find a few, didn't have a pen so signed with a stamp which turned out to be not that effective.
Out and about with Parkacruz getting some more of the kep done and some others along the way a quick find here tftc
Found this one coordinates were all over the place bit hard to find if following coordinates just follow your instincs
We headed out today to claim some more smileys through the Avon valley, we had a mixture of caches with three fantastically executed field puzzles being the highlight of our day. We had a couple of DNF’s for the day but will get back to hopefully rectify that soon, all in all a great day out TFTC
I had a spare day to myself and decided that I would spend it taking in the sights of Northam and surrounding areas. The weather was really hot, but the heat was punctuated with periods of heavy downpours which cooled things down quite nicely, for a moment at least. A great variety of caches were found today, totalling 19. I was in the process of working out where the WP1 could be for the nearby multicache, when I looked down and noticed this cache right at my feet! So instant find. TFTC jasenjanine
Well it’s now day 17 of our LGA gathering plus just basic enjoyment trip with m4yb, Jonathan the camper trailer and Max the GeoUte.
Yay our first KEP at this end of the track.
Thanks for the smiley jasenandjanine

Day 17 of our Adventure to the northern Goldfields and now in the Wheatbelt. After a good night at the very pleasant Toodyay Holiday Park (and chalets!) we are ready to explore the surrounds as far as Northam.
Happy to also grab a few KEP caches here and there. NEF here, TFTC jasenjanine!

I hadn't realised this cache was here because on the map it's hiding underneath the smiley face for Kep Track #1. A quick find once I realised it was nothing to do with the information sign. Would have been even quicker had I read the hint. Thanks for the cache, it's in great condition.
