My first find for the new calendar year to collect a souvenir before a family event nearby. Lucky to find in the first place I checked as it was a hot day. tftc

31-Dec-18
For the first time in 21 years we were not working on NYE due to a broken wrist but it didn't stop us from finding at least one more cache this year. And we wanted the souvenir. Smile
This one lived up to it's name as we got a bit of a work out trying to locate it. We searched every piece of equipment at least twice before Diane spotted it in a place I had just looked. Sad
At least it was found and we happily added our name to the before returning the bugger to it's hiding spot.
Thanks for the hide The Cache "M" Crew and showing us another little park we did not know existed.

First one found ! Very Happy

3 visits this took! GPS had me off by about a 2m radius. Settled looking at the equipment that didn't look like it held any secrets. Glad to be ticking this one off.

01-Nov-18
All quiet here today with no sign of life anywhere in the neighbourhood. This is a good spot for the locals to work out, and today I was able to work it out too. With a handy TOT I spotted it and was soon adding my name to the log. With the log all rolled back up everything was popped back for the next finder.

Thanks to The Cache "M" Crew for placing this cache.

Find #4524

After a couple of afternoon finds I was able to carry on to this which seemed to stand out as one of few in the area that I hadn’t tried before. A few turns through the residential streets and I spotted the area where I needed to stop. The skies were an ominous dark grey and I was hoping I could make the find before the forecast rain hit. At least it meant the area was deserted and I could take the time I needed to look around. Had a good idea what I was looking for here ((and where) but it still proved pretty tricky. Narrowed down the possibilities and in the end there it was. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache The Cache ‘M’ Crew.

First GC in about 7 or 8 years. Was the first with my two mini cachers too

Took us a while to get it, but managed to find it....

Can't believe geocaches have become so small.

Workouts are not my thing just at the moment but I did rest a bit while contemplating exactly where the cache would be hiding. Ana the geodog was keen to check every piece of equipment, every tree and the deck but this would take far too long so I let the GPSr settle and made two different approaches which both ended at the same spot. Using this as the starting point of our search we very quickly had a geocache located, signed and returned to its hide. TNLNSL. TFTC. KkAms.

Find #9429

It's been a while since I have done any solo caching. A free day today. Big GrinHeaded out today to pick up some long time solved puzzles as well as some Wherigos. It was a beautiful sunny autumn day, so why not get out on the trail. Very few people about which was good when searching for caches roadside.

I decided after all those puzzles, a Traditional was in order. This took a bit of finding but eventually the cache was in my fingers.

Many thanks to The Cache 'M' Crew for the cache. TNLN.

Found with DC Metro as he decided to clear some of the caches around his home location. This was the first one we did and after DC Metro showed what he was made of, we set about trying to locate this cache. We looked here, there and everywhere. Finally I read the description and explained what we were looking for to DC Metro and he located the cache and the log was signed.

There are only a few spots left on the log sheet here. I eventually got the log back in the cache container and we onto the next cache.

Thanks for the cache.

Great little park for a workout, very thoughtful for the residents. This cache wasnt too hard to find, at I got to stay clean. Thankyou kindly

21-May-17
After we did the caches at the wetlands we headed up to find this one. Found the cache on the first piece of equipment we looked. Everything was wet from the dew as it was early morning. Found the cache quite quickly, then along came a muggle family to play on the equipment, so we had to wait in the car till they left. SL. TFTC. Great little park in the middle of the street. Thanks & Cheers. SmileCool

Heading towards Fountain Gate I decided to detour to grab another cache. This looked promising.

Parked nearby and found the cache on the first item I inspected. Unexpectedly quick find here. Thank you!!

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).

A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

Had fun testing out all the equipment before searching one area that GeoTurtle37 had already looked. Smile

23-Jan-17
Up, down, in, under even between. Nope. I'm sure I looked there at least twice. Cache located and signed with no help from Geoturtle37. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

23-Jan-17
Hey Geoturtle it's right there, on that! I search 2/3 of that. Geoturtle searches 1/3. Apparently nope, not here. We widen our search as OHC sticks her head under where Geoturtle just was and says like this? Lol, nice hide, good fun. Tftc Smile

Took a bit of time but found the little sucker! TFTC!

01-Jan-17
Decided to find this cache that had been on our radar for a while. Found the cache with the GeoKidlet who decided to unravel the tiny rolled up log. While I was rolling it back up with my rather fat fingers, muggles had decided to come for a Workout. It's hard to pretend to be cool while rolling up a little sliver of paper. TFTC

*1/1/17, Found @ 9:01 pm, Find # 6113.*

While out and about searching for caches, this one was found.
This one wasn't too far away from where I was so before heading home I made a bit of a detour so that I could find this one.
I arrived at GZ and had the place to myself, I started looking around, inspecting all the items but nothing was found at first, I went back to the item that was spot on with the coordinates and had a better look, this time I found the little sucker.

**Thanks to The Cache "M" Crew for placing this cache.**

I was in the area for a birthday party and after eating far too much cake I went for a small walk to find this cache. Located easily enough but then someone turned up to use the equipment. Waiting them out didn't work so I walked off back to the car... with the cache in my pocket. I then drove back to replace it when GZ was clear about 20 min later. Can safely say I've not done that before! TFTC!

School holiday time once again which means Team Clarmensma is formed (myself+GemmaSistema+neisha07+boo09+Adam+Luke) and one lucky destination gets to host us. Wink
This time it was Phillip Island and decided to make a 3 day road-trip of it.
The weather treated us fairly well and we enjoyed the many beautiful views and landscapes that we were taken to before caching our way home on day 3. TFTC!

In Philip Island for a few days of caching with becca85 and our geokids - Adam, Luke, neisha07 and boo09. Today was our day and we wanted a few more canes on the way home so we detoured to nab some hopefully easier ones. A quick find here and onto the next. Many thanks Smile

Find #2376

I needed a find for today, but I certainly didn't expect to be going after a FTF. Surprised I saw this cache published but reasoned that as there were numerous other cachers living closer to GZ than me, that a FTF wasn't a possibility. I did however, still need a find and it was one of the "Where is the Melbourne Mega" series that I was going after. This cache is in the same general area and so I thought I'd give it a go. When I arrived I saw that the area is exercise equipment rather than a children's playground but there were numerous muggles walking their dogs or going to school to watch out for. My GPS led me straight to some likely contenders for the location of the cache and the second one I looked at proved correct. I appreciate the CO accurately describing the container as a 'nano'. It really helps, especially in an area like this. I unrolled the log and to my surprise, found it empty. Big Grin
