Out for a bit of a walk and a drive out towards Tai Tapu, seen as I don't have much work on, so let's get paid to go geocaching instead.
All good here, after waiting for a few cars to go by, made a grab, then replaced in between another car coming by.
TFTC busy paws, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 find(s) of 10 today, making this find #3607

Yep that is definately black. Came out today to get a couple of caches near home in between loads of washing and before friend arrives for lunch. Thanks for this cache busy paws.
Taken out by Knotobsessed for a day of caching even with my knee problem. Decided we would head into the country this time and find some of the newer ones in Tai Tapu
I can see it being easy to go too overboard with this hunt I almost did but KCN bought it back to the task at hand

Out for a celebratory meal at *The Bicycle Thief* and grabbed this one on the way. A bit damp; dried the plastic bag with a tissue. TFTC
Nice location with parking available opposite the cache between blind corners; TFTC
Today I had time between work commitments and travelling home to go out and find a few caches. Although my GPS had me a little way off, there was really only one place this could be and there it was. TFTC, Biggles.
Day one of my Canterbury weekend. I enjoyed a mixture of urban and rural caching this afternoon. TFTC
Sorry for the late logging. I found so many caches in July that it has taken me what feels like forever to log them all in order. Had a couple of things we had to come up to Christchurch for so I was making the most of the trip to get some caches and finish spelling August. This one was on the way to a U cache.
This was a really nice road to cache on with my boys.

My mum took us up to Christchurch as I had an appointment and we found this cache on the way home.
thanks for the hide

Had a great time finding this cache after being dragged around by my mum in Christchurch. Nice cache, thanks for the hide.
I was more interested in stopping and having something to eat than finding a cache, this was a nice quiet spot. Nice cache, thanks for the hide.
Tftc. Nice and quick. Thanks for clue.
Mothers day no #13. All ok with log. Container a little damp..
Nice periwinkles next to it.

As mentioned before, water in the container again. But this time the logbook was soaked and unwritable as well. We tried to dry it a bit and scribble something on it but the Sun was not out enough yet and we didn't succeed much in either.
**Needs some maintenance. This container does not appear to be watertight at all.**

Some water in the container, but log is dry - cheers to previous finder for actually sealing the plastic bag. Keen to find a cache today bec this is a one-cache-only-day.
Thanks for the fun, busy paws.

Perfect hint, cache came out about 40 seconds after we got out of the car. Second to last for the day, so nice not to have a long hunt.

A quick find on the bicycle tour to Tai Tapu. With a bicycle you can at least stop direct in front of the cache... TFTC

A quick find on my way home from work to get the souvineer that is out today, 2 May 2017.
#3563. I had a work trip to Canterbury on the Thursday and Friday but decided to stay over on the weekend to fit in a couple of big caching days. I am working on the DGSC challenge and need some 50+ days for the bulk find elective. So Saturday and Sunday were earmarked for getting some big totals. Fortunately the weather was fine and sunny on both days. Managed to locate about 130 caches over the weekend and about 150 over 4 days. After a morning out caching near the Selwyn River (which was a dry creek bed today), I headed over to Taitapu to meet my sister and her family for a birthday lunch at the Bicycle Thief restaurant. Three hours later and I was back on the road again. This one was close by and another easy find. Signed the log and replaced as found. Trackable uplifted today. Thanks for the cache.
Nice quick park and grab to start the day. Cache in good shape. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
Having taken the old Road out of Tai Tapu the bonus was several themed caches, all were very clever and lovely to find. Cachers instinct kicked in here and made for a quick find. Lots of cyclists about.
I have been planning this trip for a while now as I had some airpoints due to expire and wanted to go somewhere for Wellington Anniversary Weekend. So I've made it a 4 day weekend and come down from Palmerston North for a caching road trip. I have two goals for this weekend, to get to 2500 caches before 23 January (which I've completed) as that is when I took up caching last year and to get caches on as many latitude minutes as possible that will hopefully qualify me for a challenge cache in the Manawatu. This is day four and my last day. I've had a great time and found over 200 caches but it's time to head home to reality.
Decided to do this short run on the old tai tapu road. Quick find here and I could get on my way. TFTC.
