In town for an Easter caching spree we figured we would come down the viaduct and explore the nightlife, an opportunity to try find this cache came up, detouring half an hours walk due to the bridge being shut we finally approached GZ, reading hints and logs we quickly discovered #12 had been relocated to an unknown location, had a good hunt around everything fitting the hints and description but we came out empty handed. Is it still here? Bit of confusion with the previous DnF and find but we were left stumped. Maybe next time
Pretty spot by the water. Enjoying our last few days in Auckland before we fly home. Hello from Chicago. TFTC!
Nope no luck. Think if hadn't heard about gunman and seen so many armed police today might have searched longer
Up here just for a day and night out. Avoiding the people at the boat show lol. Tftc

Visiting the North Island from Ottawa, Canada, by way of the South Island, and Sydney. Gotta get some caches along the way. Was here a couple of days ago, but, couldn't grab it unseen.TfTC
Hello from Seattle! ?? ??After an amazing trip along the southern coast of Australia heading from Sydney to Adelaide to attend a Mega-Event with my fellow Lackey and best Geobuddy Giacaches, we headed over to New Zealand for a week of caching and adventure - as I often say, we've never been closer, so it made perfect sense to plan for a stop. We have a loop around the North Island on the schedule, and I'm so excited to see all the things there is to see!Today was the last full day of this 10/10 trip and we spent it wandering around Auckland seeing what there is to see. We stopped here for lunch, but before we certainly had to grab this cache. We had to wait out some TikTokers filming a video here, but thankfully they headed along and we could swoop in. Thanks for being a stop on this amazing adventure!
Greetings from Seattle! I traveled down under with jtcoffee to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide on Leap Day. Of course, a trip from Seattle to Australia just wouldn't be complete without a detour through New Zealand ??Per usual, We're squeezing in as many extra activities as we can, including, but not limited to:? Logging our geocache finds in the southern hemisphere ????? Finding Australia's oldest, [GC3E](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3E) at Lane Cove, and the first-ever Earthcache, [GCHFT2](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCHFT2) ??? Enjoying the spectacle of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney ?? Cruising along the scenic Great Ocean Road ??? Completing a challenge that requires finding 31 Earthcaches and 31 Virtuals in 31 days ([GC32TBZ](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC32TBZ) and [GC32TC2](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC32TC2)) ?? ??? Finding the oldest cache placed outside of the US, [GC46](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC46)? Exploring the iconic Lord of the Rings filming locations across New Zealand ??It's our last full day here and I'm glad to spend it caching around Auckland! Upon arrival, we came upon a herd of wanna-be influencers in their natural habitat. So, we do what any self-respecting treasure hunters would do: lurk awkwardly until successful execution of dance moves was completed and they scurried away. Finally, the coast is clear and we made a fast find! Thanks for placing this cache and contributing to our epic adventure ??
This hide definitely needs stealth mode during the day, so came back at night and found with a friend. TFTC
On our first day in New Zealand we walk through Aucklanland. This Cache was on our way.Thank for showing this nice place.TFTCHennesAt the end comes the poem of the day.New Zealand By James K. We have arrived in Auckland during our trip through New Zealand. We also looked for geocaches here. Luckily we found a nice spot to take some home with us.Many thanks to CO for laying this cache. With warm geocach greetings from the Netherlands ????
It's our last day in NZ after 3 weeks of adventures.Staying at the airport we took an Uber in to Auckland for a look around and or course a last min bit of caching. All caches found or completed with no problems and thank you to all COs for placing
Stoked to turn this sad face happy! Thanks so much for getting this replaced quickly, much appreciated. I've been in the area for the last week and a half working on the Moana Festival, and after walking past this area many times, I was glad to finally be able to get the cache. TFTC!

We have traveled with 36 likeminded geocachers to Australia and New Zealand resulting in lots of opportunities for sightseeing and geocaching. The logbooks were mostly signed under the teamname "Team DownUnder24" and answers were sent to owners for the group, as appropriate. This has been a great trip with a multifold of new impressions and experiences.During our stay in Auckland we had also the opportunity to visit some caches. This cache was today among our finds. Thanks for leading us here and showing and thanks for the cache.

Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we had the whole day to geocach in Auckland.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.
Together with 37 Cachers, we start a journey to Australia and New Zealand via Doha.In Qatar we spent one night and had almost one full day before heading to Sydney. In Australia we visit the cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Cairns. Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

A group of 38 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland - Team Downunder24 - are traveling for 22 days from Frankfurt/Main via Doha to Australia and New Zealand. I was able to discover many wonderful things and irretrievable experiences are burned into my memory. Today biggidag and I had a whole day free in Auckland. We start at the Skytower in the morning and got a great overview of the city on the water. We then took the Uber to various points around Auckland that were of interest to us. In the early afternoon we treated ourselves to fine food at the harbor and then walked back to our hotel in the city, where another event took place at the end of the day. Thanks to Mikkyp for the cache, luring and caring for it - kind regards from Switzerland ????
