This was a really nice way to catch up and say farewell all at the same time. All the best for your future caching travels and eventual back to work time in Christchurch. Merry Christmas to you and all the other Nelson geocachers. Hopefully we will see you again somewhere sometime soon.
Thanks StreetWalkerNZ and Troodles for the event.

Thanks for the event. 2nd time I have been to your farewells. Great turnout. Good to catch up
We were only an hour and a quarter late. I think we made very quick time from Christchurch this trip, only 7 hours 45 minutes. Sometimes it takes that long to get out of the city. . Great catching up with everyone. Sorry to see you leaving the area region but wish you both well on your adventures. Looking forward to reading your blog. Thanks for the event

Last minute update but luckily I'm in town today so Mr and Mrs Biggles will be along with Flying Phoenix as well.
So long, Farewell.....and safe travelling. Remember to visit Nelson again - there are bound to be more caches to find if you do.
Sorry you are going but we know you have places to go and caches to find in areas new.
Thanks for the event which allowed us to say farewell in the best caching way.

Did some people forget to pay for their meals? We took a photo of the outstanding items (the ones crossed out have been paid for).
Great to catch up with all the local cachers and try to put names to usernames (again). Good luck to you Paul and Trudy. Best wishes to all for Christmas and the New Year. Try to stay sane!
Very best wishes to you both Troodles and Streetwalker. We enjoyed the event , lovely food and company. Happy settling in Christchurch and happy Geocaching. Unichel.
What a great turn out! Many thanks for taking the time in this busy part of the year to wish us bon voyage. Seasons greetings and all the best for 2016.
I was just thinking this morning that it seems a very short time ago that you held an event here on your way to greener pastures from Christchurch. So I had a look up - 5 years. That is a short time and a lot of caches in between. Thank you both so much for this great opportunity to say goodbye, catch up with others, wish everyone a happy Christmas time and of course pick up a smiley. Safe travels, happy caching and I'm sure are paths will cross again. Cheers
Thanks so much for organising the event, it was great to catch up with everyone. All the best for your travels and for the move. I trust we can expect say an annual foray into the area to turn any new green boxes and blue question marks into yellow smilies. - - - And hmmm yes, I have another idea. You could organise an event so we could catch up with you . Go well .
What a great night pre Xmas catching up with so many cachers and sadly farewelling the SWAT team. It's been great having you guys around for what seems like too short a time. Merry Xmas to all and good luck all those caching challenges.
Thanks for a great event. Great to catch up with everyone again and all the best for happy travels and many caches along the way.
Thank you so much for organising this event and giving us the opportunity to say Bon voyage and happy caching in the north. Great to see everybody again and Merry Christmas to one and all.
It wasn't until about 5pm we knew we could attend this event so happily turned up without posting a 'will attend' note.
Sadly, it's farewell to Trudy and Paul but who knows if we might unexpectedly meet again somewhere on a caching adventure. Of course we would love to see them both at future Nelson events too.
Many thanks to your additions to the local caching scene and good luck with your future endeavours.
A very merry and safe holiday season to all.

Only at last minute it became possible for a brief visit to the event. It feels like only yesterday to have met the SWAT team for the first time. Surely NZ is not big enough so our cacher's paths will cross again, somewhere, sometime. Good luck for the future, best season wishes and happy hunting.
Many thanks for organising this gathering. A bitter sweet one too as we farewelled our hosts and caught up with caching faces new and old and from near and far. Oh and mea culpa, mea culpa, mea máxima culpa - it was indeed the Biggles crew that managed to wander off without paying for our meals. We have contacted the Honest Lawyer and will be settling up ASAP. TFTE, Biggles.
Thanks for the event. I had a good time along with Mum and Dad (Biggles). Dinner was great but there just wasn't enough of it, I was so hungry.
#10402. We've really enjoyed our 18 months in the Nelson/Tasman area. It's given us time to explore the region, especially out of the way areas such as the Marlborough Sounds and Golden Bay. It's also been great to get to know people in the local caching community, who proved to be a friendly group. No doubt we will keep in touch with many of you. We plan to maintain a blog during our 12 weeks in the North Island (http://swat-2015-ni.blogspot.co.nz/). Hopefully it will be something we can retain enthusiasm for over the whole period.
Thanks for all who attended the event; it was good to have a chance for a chin wag and say farewell.

Not sure its all that safe for a SWAT team and Isis to be in the same space these days but I'll give it a go and see what happens - one for a meal.
Unless something unexpected crops up, I will be able to attend. It'll be for a pint and chat. No feed for me. Look forward to catching up with everyone...
Hi Troodles - we only just met and you are moving on. We would love to meet you again, join in for food and to say bon voyage.

If I'm in Nelson at the time and not dragged off to some other location for work, I'll be there.
Oh no, you've only just arrived !!!! - - - Still you must have just about found all the local caches .
We will be there to wish you well and plan to order a meal too (x2).

Will be there. Was at the last farewell you had in Wellington so better turn up to this one as well. Will definitely be one for a meal and a maybe for a meal
Will attend but not for a meal. 1 adult, 1 youngster. What time will you be there? Looking forward to catching up. Sad to hear you're leaving.
SoSad you are leaving but we know that caches await in pastures new. We will be there - 2 of us for a meal.
We can't let you leave. At least not without saying farewell. Mr KE will most likely stay for a meal and we will confirm any extra numbers closer to the date.
Despite the calendar filling up with other Events this date was free and so I'll definitely be there to say farewell to you guys. I adult and no meal thanks.
Unable to attend unfortunately. Farewell to you both, Paul and Trudy.
Enjoy the greener Caching pastures.

I had to do a double take this morning just to make sure the organisers were who I thought they were.
Currently ranked as the 12th and 13th most prolific GCers in New Zealand (according to cacherstats.com - http://www.cacherstats.com/New_Zealand1.html ) this will be the region's loss and the greener pasture's gain.
Streetgamer, HorseGirlNZ and myself will make every effort to attend to bid farewell, but will confirm in due course.

Nanzie and I are driving back from Christchurch that day but wouldnt miss it. We arent sure what time we'll get back, we seem to get distracted and stop regularly on long trips so we wont worry about dinner, just a drink. Sorry to see you leaving Nelson
