First full day of my short trip to Port Macquarie. This is my opportunity to grab a stash of caches all day while the Geowife does her crafty things.
Found 25 including the first eight of the Mid North Coast Wander (was only willing to push the non-4WD mugglemobile so far) and a selection of other caches in around Port.
Actually beat her back to the motel by 10 minutes - and she had the key! Then out for dinner at Flynn's Beach.
A good day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Muggles everywhere here, so went for the clue straight away. Spotted it on a walk past, then just timed my grab.
Took well away to complete signing duties, then back for the timed replace.

Yay!! Fi ally we found this one!! We have visited here many times trying to find this one. The hardest thing was getting enough time to look properly inbetween people passing by or using the closely facilities. This time we got there and geo daughter made a fast find. Lucky as people came by just as we were signing the log. TFTC. Very tricky.
The heavy rain held long enough to have a good look, and geowife had it in hand after 5-10 minutes. Lucky, because rain kicked in and we had to flee.
I am working on completing my Jasmer and needed a cache to fill a missing month from the Port macquarie area. Mr Minion suggested we make a weekend of it, so I thought I would look at completing a challenge as well. To find 25 unique difficulty/terrain combinations in a day. We set of from home at around 4am . this was the second cache of the day and luck reallly was on my side as it was in the first place I put my hand, The cache was found at 7.01am, , it took me longer to get the log back into it's container than it did to find it , . Thanks for the cache NurseHayley tnln sl
sneaky little sucker could easily have missed it, but Mrs oz was up to the challenge. 2 little fellows were skating in the nearby skate bowl. They were not the slightest bit interested in 2 old pensioners wobbling around. sl tn ln
What a great cache. The smallest one we have ever seen. Thanks for a great cache. The clue really helped. My six year old is pretty thrilled he found such a small one
As noted by a previous finder and in our log, log sheet is full and needs replacing.
Unfortunately I can not change the log as I'm away in Victoria untill the 9th, but feel free to replace the log if you can Otherwise just sign anywhere on the full log, that's no problem.

Tftc. Found this one today after a brief search, using previous activity to help. A tricky little fella but found eventually. As noted by a previous finder log is full so we were only able to just fit 3.1 TL.
A sneaky little one. Not quite where I expected it; and, you are correct - it does blend in well. The log is getting quite fully and will probably need a new one soon. TFTC.
Found it after first giving it away and visiting the biggest Sunday market I have seen for some time. I returned to the GZ and after quite a bit of searching found it, Unfortunately my old and clumsy fingers cannot handle these little nanos so I could not open and sign it.TFTC
Thank goodness! Thought we were losing our touch there after three DNFs today. Finally found a TNH! This one really puts the nano in nano. TFTC!
Gotcha - Out kayaking and thought we would see if there were any finds about. Landed at Camden Point and walked across to Tennis Pro. As we did not come prepared we made our mark 'X' with a piece of charcoal.
With a souvenir up for grabs we decided on a day's caching at Laurieton. This was a sneaky little one, lucky there were no players on the courts. Thanks Hayley
TFTC, 3rd time lucky. Wow, now that is a small cache, I swear I looked there on both prev searches. A little guidance from the C.O helped, thanx Hayley.
Ggrrr, another frustrating search all over the gates etc, even TAF to confirm I was looking in the right spots, which I was, but no luck.
According to the ratio of finds and DNF's I have increased the difficulty- oh and the cache is still there
Yay. 2nd time round. Finally found it but i was sure i looked there before... Anyways, no tennis players today, no kids on the skate park. TFTC...
12:15 Had a walk around Sunday markets after a pleasant two hour river cruise. Fortunately no tennis muggles and everyone else was preoccupied with "stuff" like candles, soap, wood work, plants and jewellery. TFTC. Coordinates spot-on and cache all present and correct.
Oh bummer 3 DNF's in a row- best check that today- I haven't been in the area the last week so apologies for not checking the cache out sooner- will get back to you asap
looked high and low for this one to no avail. Will come back another day when in the area.

Grabbed this one on our walk ... Walking around Australia for Prostate and Breast Cancers

Found! Also found a bonus half on the ground right below it, with another log that was full. Container of the second log (magnetic part) can't be found! Will leave just on the ground below original for maintenance. TFTC!
Quick find by muggle friend. Thank you again, Team Nurse Hayley.
Find number 2 of 8 attempts, with one muggled, in a short afternoon on foot in beautiful Laurieton.
Visiting by yacht, tied to the wharf in front of the United Ex-servicemens Club, waiting for ex TC Winston's swell to dissipate so we can continue north!

Not an easy cache to look for if the tennis pros were here but they weren't. Today we only had a kid trying to abseil a tree to contend with. Luckily when you're about 5, abseiling a tree takes all your attention. TFTC Team Nurse Hayley.
0950 GAFF3, After packing up from the Diamonds Event I was wanting to find a few more of the 'local caches' and hopefully be able to clear the 50 km zone (yet again). This being one of three (plus a disabled cache) and 48 km ATCF.
Always lovely to change a DNF into a smiley face. Good coordinates, an o-ring on the container - obviously pretty new. Not too impressed with the tightness of the paper in the container, and impossible to roll it any tighter. And this was "Type 2" of three different ones found today - the maximum for a while now.
Thanks Hayley

Out on the scooter scooting up all these caches around this place. Found the container on the ground without the lid, looked up and saw another container, so I signed the top one. Thanks!
In North Haven, catching up with family. We will take any opportunity to grab a cache. This was a relatively easy find after the nearby Lean On Me. The bottom of the container was missing but SL and replaced.
Thanks Team Nurse Hayley for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Found at 12:41 PM GAFF1.
We really love going to tennis related caches and it was a pity that there wasn't anyone having a hit. I would even have endured watching a "D" grade mid week lady having a hit and giggle today, but no such luck Well at least it meant that we could search for the cache relatively unhindered - although there was a group of workmen sitting at the picnic shelter across the street who were wondering what was going on.
We started a methodical search and then hit upon the likely spots where the cache would be hidden, which resulted in a find in the second of "those" locations that we looked in [^] Cache was in fine condition and even had a new log sheet in it - the CO must have performed some maintenance this morning
Thanks Team Nurse Hayley.
Feedback: Rather than saying "Small container" in your cache description, you should say "It's a nano"

19/1/16. 5:32 PM. Cache #3412. Streak day #576.
5th of 11 finds in North Haven, Laurieton & West Haven this afternoon.
After "Lean on me", I continued on foot to this one. I hadn't updated this cache on my app (Geosphere) for a few days, so it looked like the last logs were MURPHDOGG's DNFs.... and I wondered if I would be just as unlucky here myself. Nope - used the hint and made an easy find. Signing the log, I noticed that it had been written on quite recently by harro2117 & MURPHDOGG...then I updated the cache on my phone and saw their smileys. I took a photo of my log as proof and then tried to put the log back in and struggled to roll it tight enough to fit inside.
Here's where it doesn't end well...because I was struggling to fit the log back into the cache, due to having so much other stuff in my hands (phone, pad, pen, keys, 2 halves of cache, log), I walked over to the nearby macadamia tree. Rested everything on a flat branch, but the cache bottom rolled on to the ground. I finally got the log into the lid, then searched on the ground for the cache bottom, among grass, nuts, nutshells, leaves etc. After 10 minutes, I couldn't find it. I'm so sorry!
Seeing as that missing half is the magnetic half, it won't stick. I stuck the lid, with the rolled up log inside it, below where I found the cache. It might be okay there for a day or two but not if it rains. I returned to my car, where I'd parked before "Lean on me". I continued on to "Camden Haven Sea Scouts" next. TFTC.

As per my "Found It" log, I replaced the cache lid with the rolled up log inside it, but the magnetic bottom is missing. My fault and once again I'm really sorry about that.
Came here today after harro2117 found it the other day and he gave us the clue and i began my search.
I found it pretty quickly but it wasn't in its original spot and when i showed him he said it was "missing the magnetic end". Looking in the logs I saw satans post and realised what happened, im happy to report it hasn't moved and i placed it upside down in the same place, rain may be an issue. Still findable but does need maintenance.

We used the car as cover from the muggles across the road, quick find with the Richo's TFTC
Took a bit of a search, but found it in the end. Cool spot. Water looked quite nice. TFTC!!! #661
A quick find today, with no muggles about, plenty of cars and trailers at the ramp though.
Last one for the year...
Thanks for the adventure

3rd time back here, with the second time to have a look, this time with the Hint, but still no success. My thought is that while it may be there, I don't have the extraction tool to see, and or retrieve it.
TFTC Hayley. Well done on this one. Keep them coming you sneaky little devil you.
Damn, had just arrived at GZ when a pair pulled up to have lunch. Will have to return to look again soon
I am so glad you found this today Bill and Di, I found it yesterday with a little help from Hayley...
Heading south to find the caches Team Nurse have placed. We are keen to see what they have hidden.
This was a cache still waiting for a FTF, normally a new cache is found within a few hours with so many keen cachers around here.
We pulled up at GZ with a worker just hopping out of his ute with his smoko, thought we may have to wait awhile but he wandered off. So we went straight in for the hunt & it was Bill who quickly laid his hand on the cache & on opening it we knew we had claimed the *FTF* at 9.10am.
Thanks for placing this cache Team Nurse Hayley
