Might be waiting a while for the bus, but we found the geocache. Was a bit damp
Lovely quiet spot, thanks to tourist info and geocaching we had a lovely time finding this cache
Quite late logging due to no reception, we bravely dodged the spiderwebs to find this in an unlikely location Im glad I knew what I was looking for . Was hoping to see the dam from here but figured Id be driving past soon enough
Quick find with SJG66, once we cleared away the cobwebs, as we toured around the Tumut area. TFTC.
Once again our glo e came in handy with soooo many spiderwebs and other icky things around.
This is an interesting area to visit while camping nearby. Wonderful part of the country. Beautiful river
Found at 2.45pm. A bus stop still waiting for its passengers. We hope it finds some one day.
Thanks

Waited for the bus but it never arrived so we found
the cache witch made the wait worth while.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Another interesting historical spot. There are not many buses going by I suspect, but the shed is working very well as a shelter for homeless spiders. Luckily we didn’t collect too many webs during our search. Thanks for the hide Emongs.
#5772.
The bus stop was our next stop. We quickly realized that this is redback territory, so we tried not to disturb them whilst looking for the cache. Fortunately the cache was quickly spotted. TFTC!

Found at 10:09 AM GAFF1.
Odd that the bus shelter remains - at least the spiders are making use of it.
Thanks The Emongs.

Out and about in Tumut doing a lot of nothing. Fishing, eating, sleeping and not much else.
Found this one while sitting on the banks of the dam decided to for a walk and see what I could find. Bingo this cache appeared and I found it, a nice easy one to find.
Thanks for this nice little hide, I enjoyed my walk and the hide, The Emongs, Lil Donna

There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
**The Cache** I was personaly hoping the cache was in a particular little structure, but it wasn't in the little one. It took a little to find teh cache, but all good in the end. Tftc The Emongs!!!

Found with dty73, Aquilus1, Joolay and Mtrax on our Canberra invasion of Tumut and surrounds! (Log signed as CBR5). Of course, we also had a lot of other Canberra cachers in town this weekend, and we all had a dinner on Saturday night at the pub! It was a great weekend, and I think a lot of us "cleaned out Tumut" Oh dear - another mint tin... When will GC.com ban them? Thanks for the cache TE.
Found with CBR5-DTY73, Tankengine, MTrax and Aquilus1 on a caching trip to Tumut. Having a great day, lots of fun. Unless otherwise stated cache found in good condition.
A canberra caching invasion of Tumut this weekend, saw dty73, Tankengine, Mtrax, Joolay and myself stopping for this cache. Logs signed our caching team name, CBR5.
Lots of little hidey bits, the box would make a massive cache container! Imaging the log that could there!!! Cache found okay here today, thank!

What a fabulous morning this turned out to be. It had rained most of the night and there were still showers around, so I wasn't overly enthusiastic about going out as I hate getting caches and logs wet. But Pa was still prepared to be my chauffeur, so off we went. Up to Tumut Tower, what a great little drive that was and back down to start on the trip I had planned using Cachetur.no, that involved the caches on the way to and around the northern end of Blowering Dam.
All that I intended to go for today were found and logs signed. My apologies to COs for not adding individual notes, as Pa is a friendly but often impatient muggle, so time was precious. However many logs are either damp or full, making them difficult to sign in any kind of order. Maybe we should have warned COs that this area is being "Invaded" by a mob from Canberra and Goulburn this weekend.
The weather was particularly kind, as when we parked up at the gates to walk out to Old Gum the rain stopped completely and it hasn't started again at 15:18 when I am composing this . Looks good for the weekend.
A huge thanks to all the COs for these caches. I had a ball!

#3346 After being up to have a looksie at Talbingo Reservoir wall and Tumut no. 3 Power Station, we thought we would slip down to Blowering to check out its wall . For some reason we took far too long to spot this cache! but we go there in the end. TFTC The Emongs.
Found it. The three billy goats are getting good. Great way to explore and find more about this area.
This was my second attempt at this one, but I it was much easier in daylight. Thanks
A day of caching around Tumut. Up at 6 am and headed out to Blowering Dam. This one took ages to see even though there were few hiding places it could be. TFTC.
TFTC,
Very well placed.
We decided to have a couple of nights in Tumut.
We cached our way out to the Dam this morning and are logging our finds before attempting any more.
Visited trackables.

It would be a little a long wait in this galvanised iron shed, beware of spiders, wasps etc.
