As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

Only found evidence of cache. The container appears to have gone missing. Hope CO doesn’t mind us posting the find after a hard walk in a very stiff northeasterly wind. Have posted maintenance log also. TFTC
As Grapea has reported it appears this cache has gone. Did find remnants of it though. Weren’t able to sign log. Photo attached to grapea’s log. Will pop past another time when cache replaced to sign.
Found evidence of the cache but the container itself is missing. Lovely spot. Hope CO can find find time to replace. TFTC.
A nice walking path except for some dog owners not cleaning up their dogs' mess. Sat down at GZ and found container in first place I looked. Lid was missing but log is in good nick. While replacing the container I spotted the lid on the ground so replaced it. TNLNSL. Thanks debnz
Found during our trip around Australia and to New Zealand on Radiance OTS. TFTC! Greetings from Austria,Carmen+Sigi

We were in the port of Port Chalmers in New Zealand for the day. We decided to take the Shuttle bus into Dunedin and geocache there for most of the day. We then came back to the port and did a few caches there.
We wound up with 13 Finds for the day, with 1 DNF. (We really think it is gone, but we will check with the CO and also put it on our Watch List.)
Thank you to each of the COs for their efforts and for their caches.
Great day!!!

Found on a lovely Sunday afternoon whilst on a port of call cruising round NZ. Greetings from Hordle Hampshire England. Few fishing muggles but too busy trying their luck to bother about me. Lovely quiet sit before lunch back on board Radiance of the Seas. TFTC
Found geocache while strolling around with my friend didn't have pen though good view
Camping at Hampden for a week and have been exploring various tracks and small towns grabbing a few caches here and there. Today is my “special day” and I chose to head to Dunedin for a bit of shopping and a nice lunch somewhere on the way back via a scenic route.
Parked at the nearby yacht club and this was a quick wander.

Belated Merry Christmas, my 6th cache found in New Zealand.
Was visiting on a tour from the Ovation of the Seas on 25th December, from Australia.
An easy find.
Thanks for the cache.

Exactly what we were looking for, not too far from home, easy to find and showed us somewhere new, we’d been past but not known about. Tftc #2
We came by Port Chalmers for a short visit and tour of the area. This cache was the first on a very windy walk on the Back Bay Track. Easy and quick find here. TFTC!
Here for a couple of days on our cruise, so wandered over to pick up a few nearby caches. No muggles around. TFTC
In Port Chalmers for the Seafood Festival so a wee detour on our way home to get a couple of caches. TFTC
Nice spot on a little walk we didn't know existed. Goat Island seems so close from here. Thanks.
Since I'm out this way had lunch in port and have a bit of time so why not a walk to collect these three caches at back beach.
Nice to have some shelter from the strong wind. Had a talk.eith a muggler walking her dog - so had to wait to retrieve cache. Thanks for bringing us here to this lovely spot. Liked the plaques. Tftc from England
After a quick trip to the island I had the evening to myself and thought on such a lovely warm sunny day I'll walk around and grab some caches.
Found with Miss 13, feels like we are sitting/walking on a tropical island tonight, so warm
Off the Golden Princess and we hired a car to enable us to get more caches. This was find #33 for the day and an easy find. Glad it wasn't the one of the next ones as the local fishermen were using it.
Thanks for the fun
Thanks for the fun
Number 33 of 34 found around the area today whilst on a day caching off the beautiful Golden Princess and number 33 of 76 found in our 6 days caching around NZ.
We had hired a car for the day today and travelled from Port Chalmers, to Dunedin and out to Larnach Castle, caching our way there and back.
Nice easy find. Lucky it was at this one, as the next area was covered in fishing muggles.
Thanks for the cache.
G'day from Australia!

With the news that the ship wasn't going anywhere tonight, it was time for a bit more of a walk - and some more caches of course. This was the first of them and was a nice quick find at 16:40.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks debsnz.

The first cache for today - on my way to Quarantine Island with a lovely group of people - and walked around here while waiting for the boat.
Thanks, debnz - quick find.
Thanks, debnz - quick find.
It's my first cache. I had found it with kotukuSI as we waited for the boat to the Island.
Thank you debsnz.
Thank you debsnz.
I spotted the hint object when out in the kayak last Saturday morning while heading for Goat Island. I used the hint object today while signing the log.
After a walk in Warrington and a hasty scramble to the nearest fuel station, I decided to pick up a few caches I'd not touched in the area, incredible as that may sound (!) A nice walk to a spot where I stopped, checked the cache details, and found the cache almost immediately. Cheers!
First day of a 2 week holiday so we decided to go to Port Chalmers for lunch and see what caches we could find while we were there.
The dog enjoyed the walk around the track. Cache easy to find

Making the most of the pseudo holiday. Anniversary day/ Easter and having a Sunday drive on Tuesday. Down to Aramoana and back and enjoying some little walkways in between. Thank you
Found with a few others this morning while waiting to go to Quarantine Island. TFTC
Nice walk this morning for my first cache of the day before I go to Quarantine Island for a CITO. It's a shame ya can't walk all the way around and had to double back. Oh well off the the next one. TFTC ?
Found just before the trip to Quarantine Islamd. With the CO and several others.

Found on a group wander around Back Beach while waiting for the boat to take us to Quarantine Island.
In the area so checked on this one. Couldn't find it where it was originally placed so have replaced container. Please take the time to make sure the container is out of casual sight and is 'stuck' on well.
Parked the campervan and had breakfast, after we went for a walk to see a bit more from the harbour and also found this cache.
After lunch at Orokonui, a leisurely detour through a couple of scenic areas on the way down to Port Chalmers, and a lot of tears at stumped at Back Beach, we biked back here for a reliable find. Nice to finally have a replacement for Bitsprayer's cache on this walkway, and a delightful sheltered spot to sit and admire the view. And have a bit of a siesta too. Mr D eventually pointed out that we had to get back before evening and that a bit more hill work was just what the legs needed. [xx(] Thanks for a much-needed rest stop debs!
It was blowing a gale in town so instead of spending the day at the beach as had been planned, the teenage daughter suggested we head down to Port Chalmers to catch up with the grandparents (fluffyduck38) as we knew they were caching in the area. We caught up with them at a nearby cache, which we all managed to DNF, so this was a more pleasing experience. Lovely and sheltered on this side of the track, calm and tranquil in fact. Cheers for the cache debsnz.
Found with dakotacats and fluffyduck38. Much calmer around this side of the point. Looked tropical even. TFTC
A rather windy day today but caching in the shelter of the walk-way was quite pleasant . Thanks for the timely resting spot and the cache.
