Camping out at Orari Racecourse againSirrick and Ladyjan out for a ride on our mtbs. 3 caches in hand, including this one. Love the micro container. Cheers.
Stayed overnight in Geraldine and this was our first stop on our homeward journey. Nice quick find along with taking photos of the windmills. tftc
Thanks Nosynel for the cache, on a hunt today for caches that will fulfil some challenges I am working on.
This happens to be placed in one of the find a cache over 100 separate placed months.
The local farmer wondered what I had stopped for so I explained geocaching. He thought that the house sitting a paddock away would not have been there when the cache was placed and also there is a brand new haybarn because the original one burnt down and has been recently rebuilt. He said he knows of a cache up the Rangitata River on one of his possum lines . But I dont think I have been up there.

Most southern Nosynel cache I have found to date. A nearby resident was working on his car and appeared to completely ignore me; TFTC
Quickly found here. Was smaller than I thought it would be as I didn’t look at the size.
Thanks for the cache, Nosynel

Out for a drive to get some caches for the last part of the reach the peaks challenge. This was a nice and easy find. Thanks gir he cache.
Found on 22.2.22 with farmerkeith. Had attempted this one before with no success. Easier find today.
That was majorly elusive. Found the stay covered in dense long grass. Searched under over and around and finally located thisshiny little beast. Thanks for the placement Nosynel
If that's a D 1.5 I can't wait to see a D4 this was so over grown a well buried it consumed about 30 minutes of search time..yes I am old but not blind tftc
Took a bit of persistence. Old log wet, mouldy, falling apart. Replaced with waterproof paper. Found with reshamfiriri. TFTC
Found eventually after rechecking where we had already looked! With kakariki. TFTC
*Another good find going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*

Found on a nice drive in the area. Will end up getting lots more caches in the area as am now working close to Rakaia for a few months
Staying just down the road. Arrived in cold Drizzle but woke this morning to beautiful sunshine. Went for an explore of the quiet country roads by bike looking for caches. This was the last on the circuit. GPS wavered a bit but settled eventually and I saw something glinting in the grass. Yup, that fit the hint and sure enough soon had the cache in hand. Tftc.
We are at level 2 so geocaching is permitted.

Due to the government ordered Covid-19 lockdown, I will be doing my bit to #slowthespread. From 11.59pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020.
The virus can survive on plastic and paper for longer than three days
If you would like a geocaching related activity to do while you are observing the lockdown, I welcome messages about how to solve my puzzle caches - I am happy to give hints and tutorials so you have lots of new caches to find when this is over.

Great weekend caching with Hinemoana. Drive by caching in the morning as we waited for the rain to stop. Thanks!
A crazy caching weekend with KiwiGS! We picked this area because on the map it looked like a lot of easy caches, although it was not quite the case. We still found many! Filling in time with a few drive by's waiting for the rain to ease. TFTC!!
Seeing we are Camping at The Farmyard, and Caching around the district it would be rude not to find this one on our Doorstep, and found it quickly..TFTC
Unser vorerst letzter Cache von unserer Wohnmobilreise durch Neuseeland. TFTC and greetings from Germany!
7738. Quick find. We stayed here once. Lovely hosts. Three days caching holiday around Geraldine. TFTC Rodney and Iris.
Staying nearby so an after dinner excursion to pick up some caches in the area. Nice quick find. TFTC
Day 1 of our 6-Day End of the Year caching trip to Dunedin. A nice quick find here and we replaced the wet logbook. Its all dry now so if you want it we can give it to you next time we see each other. All good to go. Thanks for placing the cache and adding to our smilies today. Happy Caching
Last weekend of the School holidays so decided to spend a couple nights in Geraldine. After our fun wet bike along part of the Orari river tracks it was time to head to the Farmyard and our cabin for the weekend. A quick find and sign here before unpacking the wagon. Cheers.
Tftc! Great placement as the first cache on our quick trip out, while staying at the camping ground. Worth the drive to see the windmills if you're in the area. Unfortunately log sodden, had no spare to replace it on us.
Can't figure out how to do needs maintenance on app! Hopefully this sends a wee email to the right people.
Out caching today with my favourite people Geo Jessie and Busy Paws (daughter and Mum) had a fantastic day out exploring some interesting places. Log was very wet, only just signable, interesting features along this road! Many thanks to all the cache owners. TFTC
Quick and easy find. Log was SOAKING wet so I think it may need to be replaced as it was very hard to write on. Found on a day out caching with Geomum007 & Busy Paws.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Great wee spot! Found with Geomum007 and Geojessie, log soaking but luckily rite in the rain paper. TFTC Love the decorative roadway!
A quick diversion on the way south to Tekapo, a quick one to start the weekend. Cheers
On the way to Oamaru picking up a few caches to assist with our self imposed "Road to 6,000" Challenge
A quick find.

This cache was well hidden in the rampart long grass. Interesting 'spinner' across the road. TFTC Nosynel.
Quickly spotted, thank goodness after Mega 1 !!! Love this little avenue. Thanks N.
Day #3 of our Labour Weekend trip to Geraldine and time to head back to Christchurch, but first we had a few more caches to find in and around the town. Thanks to all the COs for these cache placements and for making our stay so enjoyable.
Took a second look in the obvious spot before the cache was found as it was smaller than expected. Enjoyed the windmills. TFTC.

Lucky for us there was no one working today, so get up close and personal to the diggers which were real close to GZ. Cheers.
West Coast or Geraldine for the weekend? No chains for the car so Geraldine it is.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

We didn't even stop as Road Workers were working at GZ and had there Trucks Parked along here...
Cheers for this one, must say it was not a container that I would associate with this type of placement. But got today with axlall and mrs abxt350
Nice little cache to find after been frustated just 178 metres away, cheers for this one.
This is the third cache I've found down this road. Very happy to return for another cache and enjoy looking at all the windmills again. TFTC #8013
Sorry - a bit late in logging. I remember a Bitsprayer cache being down here drawing attention to the excellent windmills - fun.
Got nice and wet finding this cache southerly came through very fast thanks for the find
A quick easy find, with some interesting features, which we have visited previously for a cache. TFTC
Our first cache of the day today as we attempt to find at least one cache every day! Detoured off the main highway to pick up these ones. TFTC
A lovely day for a drive. The only other person around was down the road. Was he a cacher? Or just trying to get a signal on his phone. TFTC
