Looks like the troll has been upgrading. May have thrown away the cache in the process?
due to the rive washing out the track I biked back to the start of the track then drove around to the other end of the track this was a cache I tried to do on the way but no luck today
Day 2 of my Geraldine MTB cyclocaching adventure.
*Preamble: I won't be logging Needs Maintenance logs but will just mention something, where required, of the state of each cache.*
With my cycling adventure having just ended it was time to drive back to my accomodation base, but first I have to visit troll accomodations.
The Belfield Trolls had gone but the farmer's sheep hadn't until I arrived on the scene. Quick find. TFTC

The Belfield Trolls had gone but the farmer's sheep hadn't until I arrived on the scene. Quick find. TFTCCalled here on the way back from a bike ride along the river bank to find some of the caches on the trail there. Found the cache after a short search. Signed log, TFTC
Hoped this road would lead me to Geraldine, consulted the map and after a scramble made the find.

Spotted and retrieved by my 5 year grandson. So handy having a small, agile, and very observant helper with me. TFTC
A very pleasant little detour, down a rather mucky road. Thank goodness it was dry. A cute little spot. Thanks.
Last cache for the day today. Back to the main road and head home before the public holiday traffic starts to get to bad. not a bad wee day out caching. saved a few out these ways to allow me an excuse for another trip out caching. TFTC love these wee caches. TFTC

When we arrived we waited for an approaching car to pass before we opened the car doors. The cache was then a fairly quick find at a facility which doesn't look to have had much use in recent years, although the coordinates seemed a bit out to us. Our coordinates were S44 03.334 E171 17.910. TFTC
No trolls around today. We were rather pleased no traffic came past while we were stopped. The clouds of dust would have covered us. TFTC
Nice cache! 2TF. We went from this cache to Rangitata via Seaward road and noted a corresponding troll site which is also cache-worthy. TFTC.
