New carpark constructed, at best the area is fenced off, at worst the container is gone. CO check needed

Santa’s old helpers are busy and they are there a lot! Log is in poor condition and is running out of space. TFTC!

We’re newbies so first Cache we tried looking for. DNF unfortunately; unsure what we were looking for.

In the park this morning with two of our grandchildren, who were playing a virtual game on their phones back and forth along the path. Another quick diversion to look for the cache but, once again, no luck. Our thanks anyway to Fitzengruben.

With the jewels all found, we had the information we needed to get the vault open. Today it was around Greenslopes and Coorparoo.

On a mission to ensure Ghostgums could open "the vault", we had a list of grabs we needed to collect to ensure he secured the required number of icons. [^]

I was finishing up in the car as Ghostgums headed in for the hunt. I figured by the time I got there, we would have the job done but he was suffering extreme cache blindness. I know it was extreme as I walked over to GZ and spotted the container in less then 5 seconds. We all ave those moments though right.

I added our names to the log and returned the cache as found, then we hit the road.

Found it but too many muggles around to pull the cache and return. Will come back later when it’s more quiet... but I did hear the helpers working away!!!

Perhaps it was the wrong time of the year for Santas older helpers to be making toys today, as all was very quiet here at GZ. Nonetheless, it was lovely to spot where this place is, as we had no idea it existed.

24/05/19 My first cache but didn’t find it

Santa's let his workers have the day off today so a nice quiet find! TFTC!

We wanted to log a cache today to fill a gap in our calendar, so when we had to stop nearby for fuel, I did a quick scan to find a cache nearby.
The GPS and nappy both pointed at a spot in the middle of the car park so we wasted a few minutes searching by torchlight before Mrs STW spread the search wider and quickly had the cache in hand. Santa's helpers seem to have gone to bed by now! Thanks for the cache.

Quick easy find.

Quirky place, lots of noise from the workshop. Nothing in nothing out from us. Just a tick off the list. We wanted to out a trackable in but it didn't fit! It was pretty tricky because he's Santa this one was really really really really really tricky it's a little black container and you can't fit a trifle bucketmeow

Managed to find a carpark complete with shade only 100m away - Sunday must be Muggle day at this field with a lot of people hear playing frisbee soccer. As I sit and write this note I am aware of the earthy smell of wood being crafted into something new. Thanks for the cache!

Quiet at Santa's workshop when I visited, perhaps the shipment has left for the North pole already?
There was some noise from inside but not a single sledge in the parking lot.

One just for me and we were a bit concerned as there was plenty of people around watching a frisbee game! A quick find while they had their backs to me. TFTC, Fitzengruben.

Came back a second time and found it within 30 seconds luckily, as muggles were everywhere. Felt like it was trespassing a bit too.

Last post should not discourage any cachers. Cache is on a public building adjacent to a public playing field with access from a public road.

Finally after a while of living here I found this damn cache good hide

13/6/18 I can see why some find this hard when others are around. It certainly brings you up close and personal. A quick find in the only logical spot. Stealth required. Lucky I had a log to write on my phone which is clearly my stealth mode. TFTC

There was a woodturning event today. Open to the public, it brought with it a horde of lingering muggles.

Still quite a green geocacher, I wasn't super keen to draw attention to not-so-subtle searching. So, I gave up after a few minutes. While I had no luck finding the cache, I did get to see some cool woodturning.

Also, I did notice new construction at GZ. Began to wonder if cache was still there... but, that theory may just be the self-reassurance of a fragile newbie, fighting to maintain self-respect after reading others saying: "Couple of steps. Easy find."

This geocache was our first find! It took us 5 minutes! We were so excited when we found it!

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to spot this one today. There were also construction workers within 20m of GZ so it was a no go for me. TFTH!
