This one appears to have gone missing and sadly I now have to archive it.

Looks like it might have gone walkabout. I'll disable it temporarily while I investigate. Thanks for all the cachers who have logged DNFs.

My First ACT dnf.

Bad luck today.

07-Apr-18
Visited this one today twice and looked with no luck. Our first visit the area was muggle city so we left and returned later. On our second visit we had no luck with our search. Worked out what we were looking for but just couldn’t find.

07-Apr-18
Not today.

03-Feb-18
Today's outing was a near 40 kilometre ride (with another 6 or so kilometres as a side trip) just to pick up one cache (the last in a series) that I missed last week because it had been published since my GPS was last updated. Of course, I picked up a couple of others along the way (and DNF'd some too).

Nice little set-up - works well here. Quick and easy find. TFTC Smile

This was a very quick find surprisingly. It's a good idea and I must own up to some anxiety should my suspicion prove wrong, but I'm in one piece with cache in hand.

Cute.

I was doing the bus shelter multi which provides excellent opportunities to go past a variety of traditionals, including this one. It was a quick find but I managed to first find a blue wooden building block that I thought might somehow be the cache, not obviously not.

Watch you fingers with this one

Every time I look at this listing when I'm in the area there is always a few DNF's which have put me off Razz Guess I should learn to just try my luck out because every time it hasn't even been missing!

So finally today I stopped by for this cache. Took a long time to find because the coords had me in a different location but once I was in the right spot I finally had CIH.

Looks like there were 2 people who signed their name on a bit of cardboard and put it inside the Rat kill though.... so I removed that.... It was the cacher "Integrated Planning" because he thought it was missing!

TFTC binliner! Never seen camo like that before!

I tried and failed here previously, but this time I had more luck after taking the kids to the playground. TFTC!

Log: sneaky little trap for young players. Great to be able to cache in the ACT while here for work if it wasn’t so wet I would be aiming to do some of the more adventurous caches.
Thanks for the cache

Between meetings, I snuck by. I knew what to look, having missed it previously. I recall looking at an object and immediately dismissing it - shouldn't have. Well done binliner. A favourite for sneakiness.

23-Jul-17
Headed down the hume and the federal highway to canberra with the geo-family today to civic for the morning followed by a visit to the national art gallery. As always there was a spot of caching in between and after.

First one of the day!

Managed to track it down without too much faffing about.
Implemented a makeshift log with limited materials available but after a good rattling it appears the original log has gone AWOL - suggest CO may wish to investigate.

Searched for quite a while then resorted to the logs. Pretty certain I found the spot, but no container or log to be found hiding inside. Please mail me if I just missed it.

Suscoe made our way to this cache this afternoon.
A beaut day with a gentle breeze and some clouds to keep things cooler.
Still warmish though.
A nice hide here and we soon had the log in our hands.
Thanks to binliner for this hide.

Friday 30 December 2016 - a hot muggy sunny Summer's afternoon in the low thirties with relief from the heat by riding the push bike using breeze and my sweat to cool down. Found 7 from 7 caches in a little over 4 hours and riding over 30kms from Belconnen. Back again, and again and finally found. Thx p2p. TFTC binliner.

Thanks for the cache

06-Sep-16
Found at 11:30pm. Was easier as I took the hint and read previous logs.

23-Aug-16
7:10pm 23/8 - very clever hide, mostly because it could be indistinguishable from something that had been discarded. Placement makes sense, so that also would have made me reluctant to investigate. Initially saw it and ignored, but previous logs told me otherwise. +1 to you binliner.

20-Aug-16
... I had made it to the 2 Duck dash events, but decided that counting those as my daily find felt too much like cheating ... besides - I kind of had to go looking for at least one bog standard normal cache on Geocaching Day - lol
So ... I decided to go grab one in a slimy grimy yucky alley in CIVIC because it was the nearest unfound to where I was ... but neither my dog or I found it (not the most fun place to search when it is cold, wet, getting dark, and when I was still suffering from effects of some horrid cold/flu bug) ... So I had a look at what else was not too much of a detour and spotted a Take Action one on the map - have found a few of those, usually not hard - and often easier in the dark - perfect (and there are others nearby if I do need a backup Smile
I parked just over the road, and ducked over and found that one while the dog waited in the car, then I figured while we were in the area - may as well come and look for the next nearest - which was this one - so I parked nearby and the dog and I wandered in here and found this one, then we went for a nice walk around a few more streets in the dark and found 2 others Smile
TFTC - found it quite quickly ... from reading some previous logs just now - surprisingly quickly, considering I had not read any other logs and was not feeling 100% ... or maybe I was just too half asleep to care where I was poking around and what I was poking my fingers at - lol
(mind you, I think I was about to put what I found back where I found it, but luckily I noticed the cache was attached to it as I did - lol)

Very sneaky. Found with aquilis1. Didn't fill in log as I am hopeless in trying to roll them back in. Plus at 11pm noises in the dark made us nervous. Tftc!!!

20-Aug-16
Very cool hide. Did take out but noises in the dark MAY have just been possums but just in case it wasn't, at 11pm at night we rerolled log and put away without signing. Little creapy!
TFTC.

Easier to find in the daylight and thankful for reading previous logs. Quick find and signed log. On way back to car, walked straight past muggle cleaning the hall!

06-Jul-16
Tftc. Love the container! Had to be super sneaky tonight as there was a function inside. This is my 2nd look for this one as it was muggled last time too.

15-Jun-16
Great hide. I searched for about 15 minutes, then resorted to reading past logs. I then had an idea of what I was looking for. Cache found, signed and on my way. Thanks binliner

Stopped at Corroboree Park for lunch today and wandered around here for a look. It took quite a while, but I found it in the end! Nice work. Always happy to find something other than a mint tin! Thanks, Binliner

Went for a quick cache run before work this morning. Found this after reading some previous logs...would probably not have touched it otherwise! A simple yet very clever idea. TFTC!

Came here after a DNF at a nearby bus stop to continue our morning cache hunt. Didn't take too long to find the sneaky hide. Nearly lost a finger. All the kids enjoyed the nearby park equipment afterwards. TFTC

Made a short detour on.my way home from downtown...

It was already dark and nearby lamp was causing that I was not sure who can see me. I made some observation first snd then made an fast find.

Great hide Very Happy

2nd stop on a caching run around the area. Have certainly found a few caches in this park before, so good to see another. Walked around for a few minutes not sure where to look....and finally bit the bullet to check a few "other" spots. Good thing, as the cache was found a few minutes later.

Cool cache, glad I didn't see the whole thing before grabbing it, as I might have changed my mind!!

Thanks binliner......liked it.

10164. Found during a bit of a caching meander around Canberra today.

With today available for some more gentle caching I cast the net wide for 12 caches. This was the tenth for the day. I was ready for a long search here, but was lucky enough to find the cache in the second place I looked ! Snap - Happy with that. No dead rat - and I did notice the larger version as others have. Signed, returned, and I was off to the next one.

Thanks binliner !!

TNLN - TFTC !!

I must have spent 20m+ looking in every nook and cranny. I even stuck my phone into places to see if I could catch it on video. I could see no one else in the park. I'm glad no one spotted me or bothered to come over.

05-Feb-16
Well that took a long time to find. Searching in all sorts of places. Co ords very close in end. No dead rat to be found but maybe a cause.
Gave me smile when I did find it.
No one about today so long search uninterrupted.
Cache in good condition.
Thanks for the find.

After a DNF for us on this cache about 2 weeks ago, we put a watch on it, and noticed it had been found today. It's definitely there apparently!
So with work completed for the day, we decided to give this another go. No dead rat this time...thank goodness.
We took a methodical approach and it still took about 10 minutes until Mr Domsky made the find. Yippee!
Nice to have this one off our list.

Thanks binliner. Cute cammo as well!

Domsky

25-Jan-16
No luck for me today, there's a big fat dead rat near gz, hoping it's not right ontop the cache :p

25-Jan-16
No muggles here today....but sadly, no cache for us either. Yes, a big fat dead rat was beginning to smell in the afternoon sun.
We spent some time here, but no luck today.
We'll definitely be back!

Thanks binliner,

Domsky

Had to abandon the search when JetFuselage got bitten by an angry ant and screamed the place down and attracted the interest of some nearby muggles Sad will come back another time without my 7 year old

13-Jan-16
We have been past here a few times now but always muggle central. Today the area was blessedly quiet and we could hunt in peace. We definitely needed a clear coast as it was no quick find for us today. But thankfully after a lengthy hunt, Pagan finally spotted it. Tricky. Thanks binliner

With some time to spare I decided to attempt a few caches I hadn't managed to find. Muggles prevented me from finishing my search last time. No muggles today, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC.

Cripes - more effective than its nearby big brother!
My pen failed me, so I took a little notch (nibble?) out of the log...

#3858 - 12:00; I had just attended the New Years Day brunch at the Carillion Event and decided to try and collect a couple of the newer caches on my way home. Picked the right time to give this one a run as there was nobody about and I could conduct an uniterrupted search. It proved to be a pretty quick find in the end and a bit of a chuckle to boot. TFTC binliner, a fave for the effort Cool

31-Dec-15
My second visit, and this time the place was deserted. Had a good poke around but still didnt see it. Went back to the car to get the GPS and noticed that the hint had been changed. With this new information went back and had a better look and finally spotted it. I did see a larger version of the same nearby, but decided that it wasn't the one.

Thanks for the challenge and the cache.

Found with Pacmania on a hot day. Thanks

29-Dec-15
Found on a nice day out geocaching. After parking at the hall, it took a few minutes to find this well hidden cache. It was pretty well camouflaged actually. The container was very funny and very different. Nice little area. TFTC binliner!

28-Dec-15
Found with MR on a day of caching after the feasting of Christmas. What a joy to locate, and makes caching so much more fun with such a novelty cache. Big Grin

28-Dec-15
Found with my muggle son-in-law to be after a short shopping trip. I was going to hit it with a stick but my muggle friend could see it wan't necessary haha. Great cache - gave us a good laugh. Thanks

A walk around Civic collecting a few caches with the missus. Not too many muggles around to-day. Loved the cache container. TFTC.

26-Dec-15
Came out for a wet bike ride on Boxing Day, just had to get out of the house. With no one here, it was a straight forward find with time and light conditions on my side. Thanks for the cool cache container, binliner! Great to be back here for a cache.
Cheers

After celebrating Christmas Eve with Miss Stormcatcher's family we were "baited" into an early one for the 25th on the way home. Luckily we didn't have muggles, but we did have some pesky sprinklers to contend with! This one took a bit of searching and trying to dodge and avoid a showering from the sprinklers added a whole additional challenge...luckily they soon stopped, though we were still cache less...Lots of ideas came to mind and we looked at various angles and positions until eventually miss Stormcatcher uncover something strange. Yep that was the cache, it was probably buried a bit much so we replaced with a little less top cover. This one trapped us good, very happy to walk away with a smiley as we were about to call it quits before we were busted by Santa Clause!
Thanks binliner for an interesting cache, glad this one wasn't loaded.

23-Dec-15
A two day trip to Canberra to pick up a few caches and to attend an event.
With a good variety of cache hides, we were kept busy.

This was a fun hide, and we made it our 'cache of the day'.
It was found after a short search, and we happily added our name to the log.
Replaced as found, and worth a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, binliner, for us and others to find.

23-Dec-15
Found @ 1:28pm

Took another leisurely stroll on my lunch break to have another crack at this one.

Being mindful of the few muggles about, I gradually expanded my search from my visit last week before making the find all while being watched by a very curious crimson rosella on the roof.

Interesting hide is all I will say, thanks for the cache binliner.

I may have dissuaded another finder as I sat at a nearby picnic table to log online.

Nice one, binliner!!! Great cache. I'm on the northside today, shopping and doing various errands. No GeoSchnauzers today, I don't want to leave them in the car while I'm shopping. This was my first stop, and after a bit of poking and prodding in hidey holes, I found it. I thought I was going to miss out. I found a magnet stuck to the steel support on one of the poles, and thought the cache was gone. However, I persisted and found something I didn't expect. Onya, binliner.

20-Dec-15
Nice to meet Stars Align at the cache yesterday. After celebrating a year-olds birthday in the park here in the 35 degree heat, and seeing the amount of time Stars Align had spent looking, we decided to give this a miss. It seems to be a difficult cache to find, so rather than struggle in the heat, we thought we'd come back on a cooler day.

19-Dec-15
Some muggle meeting nearby so only had a basic look. I'll have to return at a quieter time...

19-Dec-15
Sunday 20 December 2015 - left Belconnen by bike at 7am to beat the heat of the day and four hours later after some 35 km came back geocache find free, very hot but still energised. Must have spent at least 40 min here with no luck having searched hi and low. Maybe Domsky, who we were fortunate to meet (love meeting other geocachers:)) , may have more luck than we did if they get time to search after their picnic party. We will be back.

18-Dec-15
Another week has passed and it is time for an after work cache before heading home. There was plenty going on in the park bat all was quiet at the hall, so with a bit of poking I was able to uncover the cache and perform my log.

Thanks.

After deciding on the weekend to continue on our current streak to round out the numbers to 1100 days, the day had finally come. We had some errands to run after work today before we could head to collect the last of this run and this one was nearby. We selected this one and found an interesting cache.

The fifth and final cache for the day. Once again, it was back on the buses to get myself over to this cache. I was lucky to find exactly the bus I was looking for on the way back from the Pinnacles and from there I headed into the city on the trusty Blue Rapid buses. I was making good time, so decided I had time to collect this cache. It was about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop to the cache but it was a fairly nice walk all the same.

Arriving at GZ, I found the place almost clear of muggles. There were two junior muggles but they were leaving so that left the place to myself. I heck a few spots to begin with but there was nothing really obvious. I sent a PAF out and got a quick response which helped me narrow down the location. It took another 5 minutes from there before I discovered the cleverly concealed cache. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC binliner!

Difficulty rating increased after feedback from other cachers. Thanks guys!

14-Dec-15
Strolled over at lunchtime and had a leisurely search for this one - this is at least the third cache in this park. Unfortunately I came up empty handed. I'll be back!

*FTF* with HypoHippo, Goldenwattle and Decrypter around 2330. After we had converged on another newly published cache (unsuccessfully), we hot-footed it to this cache trying to get at least one FTF tonight. It was a long search until Decrypter finally made the tricky find. Very cute! I would put it at a bit higher than 1.5 difficulty - perhaps 2.5 even - it was a very hard find! As we headed back to the car, Tankengine turned up flush with his other FTF successes, so we sat and watched him make the find - he had a nice big picture searching technique Smile Thanks Binliner for my first FTF in many months, and the cute cache!

13-Dec-15
Arrived here to find AngelG27, Decryptor, Golden Wattle and HypoHippo! They had already found it! So they decided to sit on the nearby bench, and watch me try and find it! After a while they felt sorry for me, and gave me a hint... Found eventually after that. Novel container! Thanks binliner!

13-Dec-15
Big Grin Joint FTF with Decryptor, AngelG27 and HypoHippo. We must have searched for this for about 20 to 30 minutes, before Decryptor finally put his hand on it. A difficult cache to locate, as there were many places to search. We all thought the difficulty underrated. Cute cache attachment. TFTC binliner.

YEEHAAA Equal FTF with 3 other geocachers. ( AngelXX, Hypohippo and Goldenwattle) My thanks for their assistance, this one was not easy! Twisted
My congratulations to biliner for an excellent cache. Love the cache container, how apt! [^][^][^]
May I suggest that it is more than one and a half star difficulty.
Just as we were leaving Tankengine arrived and we all had a fun time sitting on the convenient garden seat watching him search. I think we all enjoyed the ' FLASH MOB' on a warm balmy night around 12 pm.
Thanks for the cache Binliner, this deserves a favourite from me.

13-Dec-15
Found on a late night raid with AngelG27, Goldenwattle and Decrypter. Thank goodness it was school holidays or evil angel would have not driven here this late! It was a long hunt, but Decrypter got there in the end. We even found a more modern incarnation of the cache attachment in our hunt! Finally, another *FTF* and a fun night looking for it and chatting to other cachers. Thanks binliner!
