First Superslothsonya, you're not the last to log. I take that position. Good to see Brownie52 but sad to say goodby. Even the heavens were sad!!!. At least your friends gave you a good sendoff. However after so many visits to Oz, another should be on the cards.
Hope you had a good trip home. Many thanks for organising this event. "See you later mate" - we can say this as this is Australia.

Last to the event, and seemingly also last to log! (what a disaster!) Happily found parking nice and close to the pub, but then proceeded to walk completely past the table of cachers on my way in ...perhaps time to get my eyesight checked ;p After a quick call to B52, I soon joined the table of fellow keen cachers who had braved the rain to make it to the event. Had a great chat with both old and new cachers, before heading off with GamingCaving to find the nearby matrix-themed multi (and subsequently some other traditionals). TFTEC B52, wishing you safe travels ...see you when you're back in syd!

Here I am now at the airport ready for my last stop of my long travel (almost around the world)
Despite the continuous rain it had been special and fun to meet greet and laugh with all attendees - thanks for coming and maybe you all got a look at newly developed barangaroo, it is a great work!
All the best to all if you until we meet again
Cheers bye, off I am

Great to meet you Brownie52 having met your other half last week while caching, and to catch up with some old friends and meet a few new cachers who belong to those mysterious names I see on the logs.
Such a pity about the weather as Barangaroo is a such a great spot. They really have done a fabulous job with the design and plantings. It will be interesting to watch it develop over the years to come.
I had a lunch with my old high school buddies today so came in to Darling Harbour for that. I tried the bus with its new terminus near King Street Wharf - really good for coming to this part of town.
After the lunch I walked back across the Pyrmont Bridge and of course it rained and I got really wet. Home for just an hour to feed the geodogs and collect my TBs and watch some cricket (not on so that turned into tennis). On the walk back to the bus it absolutely bucketed down and I was by now really saturated and it rained some more as I walked to the event.
That's Sydney summer weather for you.
If only I had been able to predict the weather I would have done it all so differently.
Dropped some TBs and collected a few more.
TFTE - until next time.

Well thank you very much brownie52 for organising this event, it was great to see you again - those last 6 months since our last catch up sure have flown by! I was a little off because of a headache (returning to work after a break is enough to give everyone a headache, right?) but although I was a lot quieter than usual I still enjoyed catching up with the fellow cachers and sharing some stories. Safe travels brownie52 and until next time, happy new year to all and wishing you all a fruitful caching year! Oh, and this is my lucky 1300th find
Sorry with all this rain I will not be attending have a good time and stay travels.
Today's weather is a bit tricky, either it rains hard or it just stops
In case of rain, let's meet at THE PALISADE HOTEL, Millers Point, the Rocks, up from Bangaroo, 35 Bettington Street (corner Argyle) - there is plenty of parking space
My australian cell number: 0474 831705
There is a bar at ground level, from where one can see barangeroo (just a bit) and there i will wait for you
See you

It was great to meet everyone this evening and to also see a bunch of familiar faces. I was tossing up majorly on whether to attend or not even though it was my plan to do so as of this morning. The rain certainly threw a spanner in the works as it failed to make up its mind throughout the day. In the end it was a last minute decision to make the trip over by train. I figured I'd only be getting a little wet on the walk over to Barangaroo and back.
I took the leisurely walk from Wynyard station to Barangaroo which took me longer than planned as I stopped off a few times to take shelter. I arrived in pretty good condition nonetheless and I was greeted by the beautiful landscape of the newly constructed Barangaroo Reserve - well new to me anyway. It's really been put together well with the various levels, detailed concreting and great plant life in the area.
I attempted the 'Green Guardian' cache before arriving to the event hoping I could make a quick find, wrong I was but luckily I had the opportunity to grab it after alongside skyebomonkeytown with the assistance and guidance of a fellow cacher, thanks Brucey.
The event itself was good fun although cut a bit short as I had a dinner to attend afterwards. The rain had eased up on my walk back to the station which made the journey a lot more pleasant than on the way in.
Thank-you Brownie52 for putting on the event and I hope you have a great trip. Look forward to seeing you again in future along with everyone else that attended this evening.

It was fabulous to see Brownie52 again. She is such a part of our geocaching community here in Sydney. Also fabulous to see a number of my geocaching mates and to meet some new ones. Safe travels B52. Hurry back. I want to see your smiling face again soon. Cheers.

Will be back in Sydney after a short trip to Bangkok. Since I'm from Germany and will have to leave soon, too, I'll try to attend.
