Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor.TFTC. Quick found on the ground. Is back in tree just above where it was laying.
Today is the fourth and last day of our extra long weekend for Taurus Six and I . We have been staying in the Serpentine / Jarrahdale area . The geocaching plan today was to just clear up as many straggler caches around Serpentine as practical , especially some of the SWH series. We then headed north including finding caches in Mardella and Mundijong , before hitting Byford for lunch . After that we switched across to the Kwinana Freeway / Forrest Highway before making it home to Bunbury at a decent hour to get caught up on life before work tomorrow . We collected a few more stragglers along the way. It was an overcast and showery day , with everything wet from the heavy rains over the past two nights , not complaining though everything looks and smells great after the rain .Alas we searched high and low here for quite sometime , we even had muggles asking us what we were doing but to no avail we could not find .
Another quick park and grab after doing this series backwards lol. Signed log and replaced where we found it but think it probably should have been higher up. Tftc.MM
Out on a bit of a cache hunt before picking my daughter up from a camp in the area. TFTC
After completing the Seinfeld series in Jarrahdale this afternoon, I decided to knock off a few more of the SWH tribute caches whilst I was in the area. A quick park and grab here. Last cache of a big dsy out..Tftc
Found but log is wet and needs replacement- I think the seal on the cache is missing. Sorry we ran out replacement logs. Thank you for the cache to find jlotsos.
Just about to log it as DNF - when we almost stepped on on the ground. Log is a little damp - rehung in the tree - TFTH
TFTC and the series. We finally made it back to complete the series after logging a couple of finds way back in 2019. Great little fun series
It's a beautiful day so a quick shop and tidy up of the home and off for a day caching.
Was a quick find here. Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

The Better Half and I decided that it was such a beautiful day we would go do some caches after a quick shopping trip and a small tidy up of the home.
Cache found without problems. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.

Lol, nice find, boot fell off but we found it and put it back on the head where it was!
Thanks for the cache jlotsos!
Thanks for the cache jlotsos!
We started off our morning hunting down some off Dark Energy’s language series but ran into flood waters, so we decided a run down the SWH before heading home was plan B. We have been meaning to grab this one for ages now, so today was the day. A quick search turned up two pieces of the host and then a 3rd which contained the cache and log. We added our names to your log and returned your cache and the pieces of the to gz. The cache is in good condition but the needs attention and it’s no longer up the tree. TFTC jlotsos.
Out with axell33 this morning add smiles to a couple of series we’ve been working on but detoured for this one which we recalled having been passed maybe a few times. Today we stopped to have a go. Unfortunately what we found were a couple of pieces of the host that has deteriorated in the elements. Had a bit of a look about and just with pure luck seen the cache container in the grass! Very happy to have found the little but important piece! We signed the log and put it all behind the large tree/stump there. Unfortunately could not return it to its true spot. Thanks for the hide here jlotsos.
No log to sign. Not much left of the cache and I found it on the ground, have replaced as best I could. But needs maintenance. TFTC
I arrived, I climbed and then realised I didn’t need too. Caught it before stormageddon. Strong winds and a bit rain but enough to cache in. TFTC
Morning adventure caching with Spike and geodog Stan on the day off!
Very brittle but found easily

After finishing up some caching with SPIKE in Jarrahdale I decided to find a couple more on the way home to reach 50 finds for the day. This one isn’t that high up TFTC
Found it. TFTC jlotsos. Quick find here today. The log was in usable and just falling apart. I had a spare so I replaced the log.
Race starter is looking as if he has spent too long in the sun. No climbing today but otherwise all well with cache in what seems to be a demoted location. Nice hide. Tftc
Alas both receptacle and subject were found to have done a dying swan routine. Have returned to a probably less desirable perch as I did or know where the original had been.
We were on the move again today and just picking up the occasional cache along the roads as we went. It was another hot day, so we did not really want to do too many. Each of the caches found was noted as being in good condition and each log had two names added, where appropriate, as we were travelling with ilook4geo. Our thanks go to jlotsos for putting this cache into play.
It was time to go hunting again with goingplaces2 and we found some caches along the route we took. All were good finds and it was a fun day, as we chose a random selection of caches to look for. This was one of the ones we found successfully. TFTC.
The rating of this one appealed as heading back from a few caches along the Serpentine. We initially looked higher and then spotted the hide which was not too hard to get to. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
What better to do on a sunny Sunday than geocaching right! ️ we have decided to spend today making another dent in the SWH caches and to end the day completing the ant series in serpentine.
Log signed and cache replaced as found. New log book put in cache as per CO request.
This was our 25th find for the day.

Pretty cool spot to hide a cache, I like it. Quickly found and logged
Thanks for the cache jlotsos, found it at 1:53:00 PM it was cache number 2899 for me and was number 21 in my run of 26 finds and 3 DNFs for today's geocaching effort.
Cheers
Grabbed this one on our trip to Perth. Spotted by Mrs Crump however needed to send Mr Crump on the retrieval due to recent hand surgery. TFTC
Great fun cache, thankfully this is the sort of tree climbing that I can handle! Came by after the event in Mundijong. Thank you for the hide jlotsos.
A bit of a wander around at GZ as my neck sure not allow me much of a view except down and horizontal. Glad there was ramp too.... Cheers.
After parking a long way from the cache and walking back..Almost gave up..

Decided to spend some time this morning with myself and my GPSr and the car with the plan to clear some caches between home the the SWH.
The day was not to warm, but at time hot, but still, nice to find these little prizes in the Bush. Some I made more difficult that they needed to be, and only 3 DNFs today.

Thanks jlotsos for bringing me to this location. I found the cache at 9:43:00 AM. This was my 6 Find for today out of a Total number of 27 for Today. The cache was found in Good Condition and I returned the cache as I found it.

*Out and about letting my GPS be my guide*...
A overcast but fine day to be out and about. Plenty of water laying around from the recent rains. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ. Managed to grab 18 today.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment jlotsos. Appreciate your effort.
Greetings from Victoria.

I was secretly hoping I was going to find this cache on the ground like others had found it but Yep had to climb although with my mums help, she had to hold my hand as I'm not good with heights.

Our last day around this neck of the woods before heading home, this was our first find for the day… Took us a while to find this one because we were looking at the wrong level After signing the log, Jase put it back where he thought it was supposed to be!

On the geo-bikes and decided to take a break here. Great chatting to all the animals. Returned cache where I found it but only now on logging realised it should be up not down. TFTC.
Arrived at GZ and started the search when my phone fell out of my pocket and my gaze shot straight down to see my phone sitting right next to the cache container out in the open. Have placed back in a more conspicuous spot and messaged CO with exact place. TFTC.
Found it but not where it's meant to be, was on the ground and wasn't sure which part of the tree to hang it back up in. TFTF
This is find # 23970 for me
On the way to home and detour some more caches...

I'm travelling this road targeting another specific cache, stopped for this one. Quick find once at the right height, the log is full and mouldy.
This was a quick find with a hand huge log to use to access the cache. I think this was the log that was mouldy and difficult to write on (but I could be wrong!). I pencilled K.B. on what I think was the back of the log. Thanks.
We had already completed The Dam Road and Chandler series today so thought we would make it a jlotsos hat trick and do these on the way home. Another fun series.
Spotted and signed fairly quickly. The log is a bit damp.
TFTC jlotsos this is find # 1448 for us

I had some spare time today and I decided to try and tackle some of the South West Highway caches. All the caches were found fairly easily with the odd one taking a little longer than others. Thanks to all the cache owners who have placed a cache here. I loved the huge variety of caches - some very small, others very big. Many of them were very unique.
In total, I found 15 caches today. All of the caches were found in a good condition, I signed the log books and replaced them as I found them. Thanks for the hide.

This proved to be very challenging for 2 short 85 year olds but geohusband braved the elevated walk & just reached it. Great cache! Earns a fav pt.
Looking for caches to the South including some I missed previously. I had a problem with my horse, he went the wrong direction. Finally in the hands of the starter. Not sure how we will perform in the Shanley Cup we are a bit knackered after starting at the wrong end.
Thanks jlotsos for the cache.

Hi jlotsos, we found your fantastic little series of caches today. All was in good order so we signed the log and replaced the cache as found . Thank you.
Took a while to find and almost gave up, great hide. My arborist past came in very handy here. Have a favourite point
Quick drive down the SWH to pick up some caches this was a bit of a detour but a nice change off the highway. I found your cache thanks for the hide.
TFTC! Had a bunch of free time on a lazy Sunday so teamed up with Cravo10 to grab a bunch of caches in and around Jarrahdale.
We were originally heading to the CBD as there are a huge number of new caches that way but decided to head down to Jarrahdale.
Our main target today was the TEch Civilisation series after seeing some awesome reviews on the local geocaching Western Australia Facebook page.
We had a great day out starting by grabbing the Jlotos series on Shanley road, which were all nice simple grabs except one where we had to look for quite some time before slapping ourselves in the forehead. We loved the post cache, you'll see it when you get there, a huge effort from the CO to out together a nice well thought out cache.
Well the tech series certainly lived up to expectations, a hugely well put together series with an awesome variety of cache types and container types which kept us guessing for what was coming next. This series is a huge credit to the COs, and they deserve all of the favourite points coming their way (if people have enough in the bank!!)
We spent quite some time grabbing all of the caches, even had a couple of DNFs which is kinda good as we get to come back!! We metup with FErnando girls and Britt Girls (I think) at one of the caches, was great to finally put a face to the name and I think they liked the smile that came to my face when they told me about the difficulty they've had with some of my caches in the south Perth area.
We cannot speak highly enough of the caches in this series, I do hope that as time goes by that caches will support the COs in replacing logs as they become wet and full as there are a large number of micro and small caches in the series.
We now can't wait to tackle their other series how hard can it be? Which looks quite hard lol.
Thanks to all of the COs for their caches today we had an absolute blast and can't wait to come back to grab a few more. Thanks

Headed out with Barnzy12 today to go tackle the Civilisation Series in Jarrahdale.
The afternoon was a lot of fun and frustration at the same time.
like normal i was relying on B12 with the offline list and as such i rarely was using my phone, thus meant that all inputs to Co-ordinates were completed by Steve himself. After a phone a friend and realising that we had the correct coordinates we kept looking only to "soon" find out they were entered wrong and infant we were 145 meters away from GZ.
It did get better from there with all required Tools found and or bought with us to find the majority of the caches.
we did however have a few DNF's mainly due to the fact that the rain set in at the end of the day and we were more focussed on how to stay dry than on finding the cache. Turned out that we had been looking so long that we didn't realise how wet we got and gave up from then. It did pay off as when we got in the car the rain increased and on that note we called it a day.
All caches found were in good condition and replaced as found.

Yep, would not have found it without the hint. Kids had fun climbing around helping. Managed to get black all over us in the process! Haha left two stickers for the next lucky geocacher. Tftf

An interesting item where the cache was hidden. Got it easier than we thought it would be.
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks jlotsos for placing this cache.

Thought I'd do rest of this series as I found Winners Trophy by taking a wrong turn. Nice character. TFTC cheers
Spent the afternoon grabbing a few caches while Master 2 slept in the car What a great series. Thanks so much!
