Last day of my Mega experience in Adelaide I decided to stay local and pick up some urban caches before returning the car and heading back to Brisbane.Upon arriving at a suitable spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero whereupon it did not take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and mark made, I was quickly back to the car and off on the next geocaching adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache and making it available to be found.Cheers
We have arrived now in Adelaide for the 1 day mega aiming to pickup as many caches as we can in our stay.Caching with 6 for QLD including RoddyC hatzofff Imbunda Snickersallan patrol14 and grannysmith1947.TFTCache Squizzie_
Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and Im now in Adelaide for a week and it has finally come to an end. With the Leap Year Mega done and dusted which was fantastic and I had an absolute ball its time for a couple of events later this morning and then to start heading home.I got up early and left the motel to tackle a couple and this one was on my radar due to the favourite points.Being early there was plenty of parking and this one grew into about 11 caches before heading off to the event.Plenty of walking was done this morning. After visiting Lights statue I headed over to this one. There are some really beautiful old buildings in this area and I found more on my walk this morning. Thanks Squizzie TFTC.

Thanks for this cache, Squixxie. After the nearby Event I tagged along with Jeffeddy and 2 other local cachers - this was one of the caches which we found.
A Leap Year Mega drew us to Adelaide. Today's activities include an Island trip, a CITO and Event, some local caching, and an event tonight (and more caching!).We are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this evening were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 2nd March 2024. TFTC, Squizzie_. I am so glad the weather has cooled.

Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie). Bullertrout wanted some help as he hadn't been able to find it on a previous occasion. You just have to laugh when Paddle Chick walked up to it and pulled it out immediately ??. Please come and join in the fun, find heaps of caches and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.**
Caching as team SPBINZ: Sidewaze, Paddlechick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie from Nelson, New Zealand. Really enjoying finding all the caches and all the cache types we can, as well as, of course enjoying the hospitality of our South Australian colleagues and the camaraderie of like-minded friends and acquaintances at the Leap Day Mega. Having fulfilled all our goals for the day we're in "random walk" territory, picking up any cache that attracts our attention. Thanks for this one ??.
Bullertrout asked us to help with this one as it was really hard. I could see it from about 5 metres away. He swears he looked there last time, do we believe him or did he have a muggles look . We are signing our logs as SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. TFTC Squizzie#16249
The third day in Adelaide with The Morris. Today was a hot one so the Morris went to do some other stuff and I rode around North Adelaide. Back early for a swim, then we did some caching after dinner.I was glad of the bike that I could sneak down the lane ways that are blocked to cars. Some flash properties around here. Thanks, Robmc.

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.During our 5 days in Adlade, we visited the centre and around while following the caches and labs. We resolved some mysteries before our trip. We made some great discoveries and great experiences.Easy to find when we go ton the good spot. But the neighbor's dog barked a lot, fortunately no moggles in the area. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
The log book is fullLoved the cache so much fun It took me about 2 minutes with my Dad TFTC
In Adelaide for a holiday from Melbourne with our geodogs. Stopped off to do a nearby cache and wander up here to grab this one as well. Great camo! Geowife actually spotted it on approach while I was already looking.
Found on the 18th but forgot to log as I had 10 other caches to do and I had done a few in the area already.
Strolling around the area, trying to sign pieces of paper. found this one easily. TFTC!
Found after having dinner in a near by pub.
