What a lovely sunny day after the Tulip Festival in Wynyard, great day to find this cache! I must admit, Miss 5 and I had to come back a second time with reinforcement (Dad) to get this one. We knew where we thought it was, but the rocks were a bit loose for me to get her there safely on my own! We were on a mission to find Mr Peachy (the trackable!), very happy to see he was safely inside waiting to be found. Swapped Mr Peachy with a fun little toy won from the bowling / games arcade in Launceston. We are so excited to take him on a few adventures (and a Kinder show-and-tell next week!). Miss 5 is absolutely in love with Mr Peachy already, and was not impressed when I explained we need to let him go again after a few more geochache finds. Wish me luck with that Agree with the mountain goat comments, wear appropriate footwear TFTC - a tricky one!
An interesting spot with lots of nooks and crannies but we found the cache fairly quickly. Left a TB. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
After reading the previous logs on this hide we returned on our way home from Smithton today and had a second look for this one. Started to the west of my search area yesterday and when that was unsuccessful went over to the eastern side where the container was quickly located. Was surprised to see that the coordinates were good here whereas yesterday it wasn't taking me anywhere near this spot. The clue is spot on and I searched in too many places yesterday that weren't really crevices.Good to get a smiley on this one at last.Thanks.
Wish I'd read some logs before I headed off to search for this one.Spent ages climbing around like a mountain goat, up and over rocks, under and over branches and all the time the GPS was being totally erratic. In the end I gave up and returned to the car where Mr Beetle had decided that I'd been gone so long I must have walked through to Rocky Cape!!!Reading previous logs tonight I would like another crack at this one as lots of finders have mentioned that the coordinates are out. Perhaps if we have time on the way home tomorrow we can call in again and have another crack at this one.
Waypoint off, good hide, good for littles that like a bit of exploring. Bring a pen because someone disassembled it. also, before you head out to this one and the ones that follow, make sure you download the maps or bring them up in signal areas because there is 0 signal.
Today we went out for a nice country drive and to find caches along the way. It was a much nicer day weather wise which meant our photos were also a lot more summery. The scenery around Wynyard is pretty nice. With lots of recent dnf on this one we werent confident but after a good 15 minutes each and looking for hints in old logs there was a sudden eureka moment. TFTC . Took TB as its been stranded here for almost a year.

In Tasmania for 2 weeks to attend the Oceania Orienteering Champs. Caching all around for DT combos and counties. Cache soon found. Left TB. TFTC.

Out on an evening walk whilst staying in the area we made a slight detour in search of this cache. After reading the logs Team M went rock scrambling. After widening the search it wasn't long before he yelled "found it". Cache is in perfect condition, unfortunately there aren't any TBs present. SL TFTC BarDar.
Out for a walk and a little geocaching whilst staying in boat harbour for the weekend. Tricky to find rocks, rocks and more rocks coords a bit off but the hiding spot became obvious once I expanded my search further from GZ.
Found with GeoMaggie2. Quit a scramble. Just keep your geo eyes open for this one. Tffc
A good scramble on loose rocks to ground zero. Out and about with Angus 88. Take care.
Staying here at holiday accommodation with friends who enjoy coming with us for a spot of caching. In fact on many an occasion male friend has been the finder when its been a bit tricky. We have nicknamed him SuperG (SuperGeocacher).
He came into his own with this one after we'd spent quite some time stumbling over the rocks in search of the cache.
Thanks BarDar.

Parked u land walked into this one, took a lot of searching but soon found the cache in the likely spot 8m from GZ
Today I set off to do the tarkine drive and find the caches within in the area. Set off from home at 5am and covered just over 800km for 38finds plus 5 labs. An amazing area that a lot of people need to visit.
Thanks for the cache

Found it.
Took 2 trackables and will relocate them soon.
A nice spot if you're a goat. (I'm not a goat).
Co-ordinates are out by about 6 or 7 metres.
Almost went base over apex looking for this one.
Be careful people.

Heading back from The Nut this one looked good due to the rating so headed over. The scree near GZ was certainly slippery and we almost went over a couple of times. On to GZ and we saw enough to make a quick find. Out with the log to complete the signing duties and then we discovered the Travel Bugs before re hiding and again almost slipping on the scree. TFTC.
Found this one after exploring boat Harbour, nice spot there was only 1 lonely TB in this one so decided to drop another to keep it company the flowers were so pretty
With a couple of TBs burning a hole in my pocket I headed towards this cache with the intention of dropping them off. After a small clamber up the rocks and some fruitless searching, I widened my search area a bit and saw something that made me look a bit closer. So happy to find the cache fairly quickly. Unfortunately I could only move on one TB due to the cache size, but better than nothing. Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun BarDar (BAD).
Today we drove from Penguin along the coast to Boat Harbour. On the way we found many caches. This was very satisfying.

we camped nearby and i went to gz, it took me a long time, because i searched around the given coordinates, when i stopped this and looked farther away, i finally found the cache 20 meters off, there was no tb in and wouldn't do so, because it is very hard to find
Well that took a lot of searching. My eyes were drawn to a place but I kept dismissing it as too far away. When I had nothing else to loose I went and there it was.
In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Free camping nearby allowed for time to grab these caches and enjoy the lovely area. Initally had a bit of a search but came up empty handed but then after reading previous logs expanded the search where I had much more success. No TB's in the hotel today.
Thanks BarDar (BAD) for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

I must have beginner’s luck . Or be in sync with BAD . Only tried two caches today, but with logs of agonised long searches, complaints about inaccurate co-ords, and general whinging- yet I had two all but instant finds.
For this one I read the hint, suspected where it should be, and there it was!

Tassie Trip Day 35 - well after our inability to collect any Boat Harbor caches the other day we ventured there today to a car park that was empty so parking was no problem however the finding of cache proved to be a little more difficult with 3 DNFs for the day all in the Boat Harbor area.
Well we ventured into GZ and conducted a search however after looking in many places at the indicated GZ the hint was read and the area surveiled with a likley location spoted. And after making my way to that area a further search was conducted and the container found YEA finally we are off to our finds for the day. TBs swapped and log signed.
Thanks BarDar(BAD) for this place however BAD coordinates but good hint.

#14256. Robmc and I have staggered off the ferry this morning, had breakfast and on this lovely sunny morning in Devonport we have started a caching run that will take us through to Stanley. With various caching stops and slow earth cache stops and a shopping stop we finally reached Stanley somewhere about 4.00pm.
This was a very interesting place to look for a cache. White rocks, some flowers, some great looking trees with interesting bark. We got to see it all during our lengthy search for the cache. Both of us had GPSr's that were telling us 2 metres even though we were searching different areas. I was very pleased to hear Rob's "Found It". I thought we would be leaving with a DNF. Retrieved the resident TB to move along.
Thanks BarDar (BAD)

The first day of our holiday in Tassie. Bettyboo3747 and I arrived by boat into Devonport, and traveled along the North coast west to Stanley. We did random caches on the way.
I have been to Boat Harbour before and it is everything you mentioned, but this afternoon when it is grey and overcast, it didn't look as flash!
Still a very nice spot, even during Easter.
We went down to this cache, and completely missed the path to GZ, instead cut cross country - that was a bit of a mistake.
Still it is supposed to be a 3.5 terrain! (we used the path on the way back)
We had a few spots where the GPSr said 2 meters, but struggled to locate the cache.
Still when we found it - the GPSr still said 2 meters although it was about 5 meters away from the other 2 meters!
Thanks, Robmc.

Plenty hiding spots available !!
Maybe too many !! [:o]
I had to leave after an hour of searching,
and claim the DNF

Hi there BarDar (BAD).
We cached around Rocky Cape and Boat Harbour today - and found your cache **"Boat Harbour TB Heaven"** at 12:51:00 PM. (This brings our total find count to 18456).
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 6 caches (& DNF'd 2).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
**Grabbed Trackable:** "Pirate Ship Geocoin".
**Dropped Trackable:** "Litle Tag of Gratitude".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We hadn't been to Boat Harbour before so it was time for a visit to check out the area plus do a few caches. Looks like it would be a nice coastal walk to Sisters Beach - which we decided to do another time. At GZ we saw a number of possible hiding places but after about 5 to 10 mins the correct crevice was found. Cache is in good condition. Thanks BarDar. (Dropped off the Pirate Ship coin).
Walked straight to this one. Cache all good. Haven't been on this walk before so looking forward to it. Tftc BarDar...cheers.
Gps quite a bit off. Look for the obvious spot for a cache nearby. Watch you don't break an ankle on the rubble

We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful village. We would probably not have made it to the "end of the road" without the encouragement of the Smiley waiting for us there.
I was a little concerned about the prior logs noting that the coordinates seemed to be off quite a ways. My fears were well grounded! I am posting the coordinates that my Garmin 680 was showing when I finally found the cache. You may want to verify the coordinates or just use mine and see if the finders quit noting that the coordinates are off. Although I am posting the coordinates on my log, you are the only one that can correct the cache cords. You have to post a note selecting that the coordinates are to be corrected. I tried editing them on the cache page when I had typed them wrong once and that would not work. It must be a log similar to a Found Log. Also, you may want to increase the terrain level. My wife, George, could not even make it to GZ. I would suggest a T: 3.5 or 4.
Thanks again for a really good cache. - Zeke of Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA
Found this one on my second try. My gps was also reading about 20 metres from where the cache actually was! TFTC.
Decided to take advantage of todays gorgeous weather and find some caches and pokemon
This was our first cache stop. Arrived at gz and thought yep ok its in there. NOPE. we looked for about half an hour and found nothing so we decided to continue on to the next cache farther up the track and revisit this one on the way back.
After success at the second cache spot we returned to this one and with fresh eyes we stated again. While climbing about like a mountain goat once more Mrs chickp was joined by another father and son team and the search continued. Finally getting cranky at Mr chickp's lack of help he was told to come up and help. Typically he chose a different path up and yelled found it within a few minutes. Mrs Chickp headed over and ah yes there it was. So not to spoil all the fun for the other team we stepped aside and allowed them to spot the cache also and fetch it from its tricky spot. There were no TBs in the cache today and we completely forgot to bring ours (grrrrr) so we filled it with some regular swaps for the next finders. Everything was in perfect dry condition and Cache was approx. 5 metres from where our GPS showed GZ. After chatting for a few moments with the other team we discovered that this was there second find ever and they had actually only started caching 20 minutes earlier with there very first attempt and find being "Beach of dreams" which was to be our next stop.
Well done guys, we hope you enjoyed your adventures today and continue on to find many more.
Thanks BarDar (BAD) for the cache and the tricky search we really enjoyed this one.

Searched for almost an hour - couldn't find it! Might come back another day for a fresh look
Hi BarDar
A six day caching trip had me travel 1675km around the West and North West Coasts of Tasmania.
Places visited included Hagley, Latrobe, Ulverstone, Burnie, Waratah, Savage River, Corinna, Yolla, Wynyard, Oldina, Boat Harbour, Sisters Beach, Gunns Plains, Sheffield, Natone and Lovett Flats.
Eight caches only found on day one, 19 on day two; 27 to date.
This was the 32nd cache to be found, total caches found 55.
Did everything wrong on this cache. Bush bashed my way to GZ and back to the car - reasonably thick in where I went. Got to GZ and my GPS had me searching some 20m from true GZ. Widening the search area had me find the cache.
Sainted the cache and signed the log at 1235hrs.
TFTC and cheers

Today we explored the NW Coast, this was one of the caches we found. Took a while to track this one down, but Mrs "T" came up with the goods.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Looking in the wrong area at first but with the new coords in my Garmin GPS (ie not using iPhone) I found the cache quite quickly. My first TB pickup in Tasmania, I have dropped off at least half a dozen. Nice to see a cache stocked with some decent swaps for geokiddies. TFTC. Will move the TB north

coordinates seemed to be quite inaccurate, too many possibilities, plus i don't like trampling aimlessly through vegetation
This cache was also fairly difficult to find, and a lot of scrambling about on the rocky slope, but we got it eventually. The previous logs were helpful as it was indeed 10m off from the coords. Nice path to the quiet rocky beach, away from the crowds.
We traveled around Tasmania for 3 weeks and took some caches. We saw so many nice places only because we searched a cache. Thanks for Geocaching to see so nice places.

This was day 46 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and day 4 of the Tasmanian part.
This cache took a bit of finding and our GPS agreed with those of other finders that the cache is 10 metres away from the place indicated as GZ. However with a bit of geo sense and some luck the cache was found. After signing the log the cache was replaced as found. Thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

Camped at Boat harbour for a few days,on a morning walk on Sister's beach track/hike GPS was a little off and so many hiding spots but persistence paid off TFTC
Couldn't find it despite spending a lot of time hunting. GPS location may need to be fixed as it's pointing a fair bit off the track
We struggled here with accuracy in the humid weather after the morning rain. Nearly gave up but the egg persisted and eventually came up with a find. TFTC
Having recently looked unsuccessfully in the area for another cache, we returned today to look for this new cache. It took a few minutes of hunting before the cache was located. At this point, our GPS indicated that we were 10m from GZ. It was interesting to note that the FTF log was neither dated or a time given. The cache and contents were in good condition. thanks for the cache BarDar and the many you have published along the coast.
Found this today, was an awesome little hide, was first to find this cache according to the log
