Is this cache avaliable or not? Tried to look - no signs of any subdivisions coming?? Though power box caches are no longer allowed???
Hi there, The cache has been replaced and moved due to a new subdivision being started and the old location no longer was safe for people to be walking around also the power box is being moved.

Jessie.

We had stopped for lunch in Leeston and saw the favourite points on this cache so couldn't resist. Sadly, while we were watching to ensure we were clear of the children opposite, we missed seeing the nearby neighbour. The CO has been emailed with details. A well set us cache.
Thanks.
Thanks.
A quick easy find of a superb cache which absolutely gets a favourite from us. Unfortunately, despite the clear instructions, it hadn't been replaced correctly, but we did so. TFTC
I've had a few visits here and this time was so easy I don't know why I didn't see it before, bring on 2018 Tftc
That is a very clever and well constructed cache. Definitely worth another favourite. TFTC # 11,603
My sister lives up this road and last time I visited she commented "it is a wonder there is no cache on this road" having made the find I was able to tell her there is a clever one just down the road.
Thanks

In Leeston briefly visiting family so moggyval and I snuck away to nab this one. Cool hide, thanks
Wasn't sure about this one as the houses are all so close but spotted something unusual quickly. Thanks for a clever hide. Found with AorakiSheep
Out with a friend this afternoon and we decided to head to Leeston. Saw this cache and thought I had to find it. Pulled up, easy find. Glad no one was around - wasn't spotted by anyone. Favourite point for sure, thank you!
Found. Knocked it over, lost the pencil but managed to get it back and replace!
I really cant say this is a style of camouflage that should be encouraged. Someone might pull a real one apart one day.
#3583. I had a work trip to Canterbury on the Thursday and Friday but decided to stay over on the weekend to fit in a couple of big caching days. Managed to locate about 130 caches over the weekend and about 150 over 4 days. Off on the second days adventure and time to stop and check out a few in Leeston. After two DNF's in a row, I headed off to this one. The cache container was spotted immediately but I can see it would not be easy for muggles to spot. Well done on the camo. Great construction and deserves a favourite. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for hiding it here.
Something just looked different and found the clever Container..Love these ones with a bit of thought given...TFTH
THTC. Out to Leeston on an errand and had to look for this cache which had already had 17 favourite points.
Super duper. Lovely job.
Add another fav point from me.
Thanks Ely1 for taking the time to create this cache for others to enjoy.

Got some cheap flights a few weeks ago so the plan was to come down for a big run in Ashburton to achieve the 120 in one day and get the gemstone. OMG! We started at the crack of dawn and finished in the dark. Foggy and cool but cleared by lunchtime. It should have been achieved much quicker. We had not really planned a route and detoured a bit. Some of this backfired as we ended up on some long gravel roads that had missing caches and was most disappointing. We got stuck for about an hour on a multi I specially wanted for qualifying for another cache which was frustrating. However, we made it - with a few to spare I believe - but are totally shattered. Too many to log individually so are doing the copy and paste. Many thanks to all who placed caches. What beautiful countryside and we love the fact we could pull over and park safely. Not keen on the many prickly pine trees so many were hidden under. The breeze only got up in the afternoon and it was a lovely warm breeze - not like Manawatu freezing winds even at this time of the year. More traffic on the roads than we expected and they fair motor along. Many thanks for the caches. It has made the whole trip worthwhile.
On a mission to clean up unfound caches in the SW with 2 Wombles, 80ish for the day. Quick easy find. Thanks for the effort that goes into these caches.
Don't get out this way too often. Decided to head out this way for a day of caching with Surveybase. No problems locating this cache today. Thanks for the cache

After a leisurely start to the day (to allow the temperatures to increase a little), StreetWalker and I headed south west towards Leeston to find at least 5 caches to turn 7th of August into a "tensy" day.
StreetWalker walked from the main street after finding a nearby cache, leaving me to rehide it. I took the car, but by the time I did a U turn and parked the car, he had found the cache, despite being hampered by kids playing nearby and the open home next door. He brought the cache back to the car to do the paperwork - nice hide! Thanks fror the effort with this cache and TFTC.

#12869. When we turned in to the street we saw there was an open home on; of course it turned out to be the house the cache is outside. Still, with super stealth mode engage I grabbed the whole thing and took it back to the car for log extraction and signing. A great hide! TFTC.
The tenant next door was mowing the lawn (strange in the middle of winter (or what you call winter..)), but managed to sneak in, quick find, signed the log and continued our great day. TFTC
Great hide. Not the first one I have seen like this so knew exactly what I was looking for. Great hide all the same. Tftc will give this one a favourite as they are a cool hide that is different to the everyday cache
It was a nice day, and as I had been accumulating a increasing number of cache targets out in the Selwyn district, I decided to spend the day converting them to my smilie list.
Nice urban placement. TFTC.

Hitting the north rakaia area this afternoon to tidy up a few caches. It's leeston's turn nice quick find couldn't be anything else really tftc
Saw the likely hide as I approached and I was right. An excellent urban hide. Gets a favourite from us for your creativity. TFTC.
Enjoying holidaying down South with tmann421 and some more wet weather today.

A clever hide but it wasnt put back low enough so we could see the cache on approach. Never heard of the item at GZ being called an Orion box? Thanks for the cache
I thought this was further up the street where the other two or three were but no, a bit short hence overshot it. However, on the wander back to it it was plain to see (well, camo'd but you'll know what I mean). Nice work on the concealment. Cheers
Quite exposed to the eye of the world, but a neat wee cache. Quickly spotted and signed. Cheers.
Found on a nice day for a drive in the country.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

The 29 February is my last dot day. Lucky for me there was no work. My mission involved geocaching.
So off I went. Such a neat hide. I just need to give it a favorite point.

Not a big fan of this type of cache due to potential muggling, but in Leeston today with no excuses made a quick find and a fav from me. TFTC
Went out for a drive up to moorepark for the bike speedway, however we had a detour to the mouth for these caches. Cheers as I was grabbing this one, I was smiling to myself wondering how many of the houses opposite had someone watching....
Out and about in the evening.....had the place to myself for a quick find and sign....the exact thing that I had spied on my drive by the other day. Nicely done. Heaps of cats out and about in the street this evening - what's that about?! - along with a very determined hedgehog that I had to drive around on the way out as he'd decided to stop in the middle of the road!....
Cool cache. Cheers.

The only thing that looked out of place!!!---so it had to be the cache. Nice hide and quite quick, thank goodness in that public possie. Thanks.
First cache for today's outing and a very well constructed one it was with Chelzea pointing out what I had just overlooked. Had been out this way less than a week ago but did not have this one on the GPS so ended up looking for the old one down the road. Doh.
I went on a little adventure for the afternoon to see what I can find. Had a really good day with lots of interesting finds, and no dnf's! Garage sale next door, but everyone was too busy springing to bargains, they never noticed me, and I was well hidden from view. And the neighbours were probably just over the amount of cars anyway - great timing! And a cool cache, too! TFTC!!
A DNA (Did Not Attempt) rather than a dnf. Pulled up to gz only to find two wee Dan carters playing in the empty section. Poo. Drove on up the road, turned around, tootled back out...spotted what I think is the Cache as I drove back out but no way I could stop due to the on going footy/catch game....will be back another day (or night maybe?!).......
Stopped for lunch and then got "round to it" and "Sprung to it" no muggles around for an easy find. TFTC

I saw this late last night but the kids were in bed so we decide to get it once we woke this morning. Little miss was still asleep when we were ready but we couldn't wait any longer. Woke her up and her and wifey went out in their nighties with trackies and pants over top.
Loved the container and good work on the hide tftc!
