When Albi mentioned about his work commitments at Fox Glacier, as always we decided to make a trip out of it, but this time its a long over due overnight one. Spending quality time together, enjoying the drive, picking up some caches, small walks, and also cherry on top, a Heli ride woo-hoo.
Cache is holding well but log is totally wet. So couldn't sign. TFTC.

This maybe a dog friendly spot ..but it's not the human user friendly..over grown and beware of the blackberry..log not good requires some tlc...tftc
This took longer to find than should have. Everything is very overgrown, especially the blackberry. Once spotted, it was obvious. The log was very crumbly and difficult to write on. Thanks for the cache weimak
With this being a size regular we stopped to find it, I was standing a bit higher than GK as I was reading through the cache page, I was busy announcing to him that it should be an easy find as it is size regular. He looked at me with a confused look and said that he had found it and it surely isn't a regular. Now that I am home I read back through the logs and see it hasn't been a regular for quite some time woops.
So all is well that ends well, the cache was a quick find and we had a wee look in the nearby river before carrying on with our trip home.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Heading down the Arnold Valley road to Lake Brunner. Finding a few caches along the way. I'm enjoying the drive and the scenery. TFTC
A nice little detour on our way to Greymouth. Fossicked around down low for a bit but then spotted the container. Clever little holder for the pill bottle! Thanks for the cache.
#17892. We managed to turn a number of DNFs into finds on this trip. Today I just happened to look at the right angle, and the cache was in plain view. TFTC.
This is the last day of StreetWalkerNZ's and my extended Waitangi Day trip to the west coast, and we were pleased to see the day dawn dry and sunny, especially after the patches of rain yesterday.
We had failed to find this cache a couple of years ago, but this time we knew it beforehand that it was now a micro, so were able to track it down quite quickly today. Phew, good to turn a frown into a smile. TFTC.

Had a great day travling from the West Coast back to Oamaru, 3 days of great weather, many thanks for the caches. - Bitsprayer
Found on a three day caching journey over to the West Coast. We really enjoyed the challenging hours spent in solving the many puzzle caches and now the signing off on the log books. We had a great spell of weather as we traveled along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
After an awesome 4 days tramping the heaphy track and 2 days in westport with some underworld rafting thrown in (and some caches) it was time to head home to geraldine grabbing more along the way..
Got the boys finding while i drive... finally got one on this road after some poor navigation further back

Left a new log sheet because the logbook is soaked.

Found it but must of been flooded paper no good very wet we put it in a dryer spot now.
A nice quiet spot to hunt for a cache. Got wet feet from the grass but once I was in the right spot was a quick find. TFTC
Found much quicker than anticipated thankfully, retrieved the trackable to move along. TFTC
We began by looking for a regular, but after reading the logs, realised that it had been replaced with a micro. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack so soon gave up.
I noticed the most recent DNF on this one so we chose to come the slightly longer way to ChCh to check on it for the CO.
It looks like ridders was right about the water level and all the silt on the ferns. The track down to the track is also much better.
We didnt take Mums wee Splash down there last time but happily did this time. Sadly we couldnt find the cache so we added a 50ml pill container with logbook replacement - so it can live on. Sorry its now a micro Happy Caching Everyone

No idea but the river must have been quite high not long ago looking at the silt line on the ferns.
I got tired watching KE from above. So on with gummies for easy find....caused a bit of ribbing !
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Took a few minutes of searching by me before The Bum finally joined me and he pointed straight at the obvious hide. My excuse - it was past morning coffee time - next stop a lakeside view and coffee in the sun.
Thanks Weimak for the cache.

We have spent Easter weekend in the area with family and headed home this morning. This was our first find for the day on our way north again.
Thank you Weimak.
Thank you Weimak.
We saved a few caches for when we returned home after passing here a few days ago. We could have driven to the GZ but walked the last bit. Gumboots were in order after a very heavy dew. A quick find of the fancily decorated container. Thank you Weimak
Our family are having a Waitangi Weekend campervan holiday at Lake Brunner.
We were staying at a camping ground nearish to this geocache. So we went on a bike ride. Jdscout found a wee track and reached the cache reasonably prickle free.

We were going to come out and find this as soon as it was published but we need to keep some backup (close-ish) caches for certain souvenir days. So because of this we usually cant do dot day caches. Then at the end of Jan a new placer published 3 new caches and with not many days left in February we decided to try and fill the month. A nice drive out here for a very easy find. We followed the thin geotrail through the prickles to the very exposed cache. I guess just cos it so clean and white. (but who it gonna be down here but geocachers anyway, right) Really cute job with the stickers and Thanks for adding to our smilie collection. A fav point from us.
A quick grab with Karma Reprint on the way to Barrytown, luckily at 8:30am, it was before the marshall for the bike race was set up. Cheers
A quick stop and find, all good. Cheers.
Found on a raid to the Coast with Kiwi Moose. Signed the log KM+KR or KR+KM to save log space.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Can't believe we are FTF on this one! YAY! It's a long way to come for a FTF! We are taking a 3 week vacation from the UK to tour around New Zealand. Arrived in Christchurch from Wellington this morning. Collected the car and started the drive to Greymouth via Porters Pass, Arthur's Pass and then the scenic route passing by Lake Brunner. We stopped and picked up many a drive by cache on our way without any problems. Thanks for everyone's hard work setting up and maintaining these caches.
